This is my go to Walgreens. The staff is always friendly and the store if typically clean. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to get to. The employees I have encountered have all been pleasant and eager to help. I come here a few times a month and have enjoyed each trip here. The photo center is nice as well. I had purchased a gift card and had an issue with the card. I understand now that when purchasing a gift card Walgreens is not able to assist you. There wasn't a number on the back of the card so I was a little stuck on how to get help. When in doubt google. Lol The issue I have is the unnecessary impoliteness I received from staff. I've had repeated issues with the pharmacy at this Walgreens. The wait times are extremely long and sometimes close to an hour in the drive-thru. It's frustrating because I keep getting notifications that my prescriptions are ready, but when I show up, they aren't actually ready. I placed an online order for in store pickup today, when I arrived they claimed that the order had already been picked up. I told them that would be impossible as I had clearly just arrived. Instead of being understanding of the situation, the manager accused me of trying to scam him for more items and refused to refund me for the order that THEY gave to a random person. He said they did nothing wrong even though they never checked for identification. I will be reaching out to corporate as this is crazy. I come here for my basic needs from time to time plus for anything Pharmacy related. Whether I need a few batteries or some snacks before heading to the movies, allergy medicine, or a protein bar. I've been here for a number of times for simple needs, that don't require a visit to the supermarket or somewhere like Target. But you can also come here and get non-prescription drugs, as well as a wide assortment of retail products, including health and wellness, beauty, personal care and consumables and general merchandise. Came here for my first vaccine shot. If you're going to schedule your shot here, try scheduling maybe earlier because it was packed when and after I checked in. My appointment was at 12:30 pm, and I didn't get my shot until at least an hour after.... the check in process was simple since you schedule your appointment online then check in with the pharmacist. After checking in, they'll ask you to fill out a form that they ask you to fill out and bring to your appointment which was weird because I filled it out beforehand, but they didn't end up using it. Probably because the form they give you is printed with your information by them. I'm not sure if the doctor went on lunch, or if they were just maximizing their employees because everyone waited awhile to get their shots. When the doctor came back, she was very professional and quick with the vaccine! Everything was done within a minute, and I was out the door. I didn't mind waiting that long, I just would've liked a heads up because all my family and friends who got their shots said they were done within 15 minutes or less with their appointment times. My boyfriend also took me during his lunch break from work, so I felt bad. Kudos to the check in pharmacist though! She was awesome. read more

This pharmacy is garbage. Every time we get a prescription there's something wrong. Now we are in urgent need of medication's and their systems are down and have been down all day so we can't pick up medication. They won't even transfer it to another store for us so we can get the medication we need ASAP. They need to shut this location down right now! We come back because the location is so convenient but not anymore. Move all of your prescriptions to CVS. read more

The pharmacy workers are horrible people and are uneducated. They don't know basic laws and have a subpar understanding of the English language. They have no customer service skills and go against what doctors have ordered. The one time I actually needed help and had an emergency they continued to make up excuses to not fill my prescription. I had already spoken with my doctors who said I was good to go. I have refused treatment in the past, but the one time I actually accepted assistance they treated me like I was trash and an addict. I will never work with people like this. I was always honest and courteous to the staff, but after being treated and lied to the way I was, I will never trust Walgreens again. I've never had a problem at this location. Employees always seem to be working with inventory. Doesn't get too busy even though it's on a Main Street. Thanks to Dawn for helping me out at checkout. My review is for the pharmacy. They never have prescriptions ready. Ever! We started using this pharmacy about 9 months ago for monthly medicine. In that time I have placed my refill requests at least 2 DAYS in advance, but usually 4 days in advance, and when I check the status it is never done on the day it's supposed to be done. I have to call in every month to ask them to refill. They always say "yes we see the order was placed. Ok give us 30 minutes to 2 hours and it should be ready." And when you show up they'll let you know that it isn't ready quite yet. Please give them another 5 minutes. What? I placed this order days ago, not hours ago. It's not anything hard to get their hands on, nothing controlled, and it's only 2 prescriptions per month. How many days are required? We're switching over to a different non-Walgreens pharmacy. This place can't get it together. read more

The manager Ana Liza was so sweet! I had to come back because one of my "Thank you" digital coupons did not apply the day before and she happily assisted me with this issue. She clarified that points don't apply to clearance items but applies to sale items in the ad. After showing her my receipt, coupon and item purchased on the sales floor, she helped resolve my problem with ease. Horrible pharmacy. Horrible communication. Horrible customer service. 0 out of 5 stars. Medications are frequently out of stock. Refills take days to get filled. No courtesy calls to notify us of delays. Every month is some excuse for the delay. In 1.5 years we've yet to go to this pharmacy without incident. This week, we were told the prescription was ready; went to pick it up was told was then told they were out of it. Then magically, they had it. It just needed a label. This Walgreens has one of the worst, most unorganized, indiscreet pharmacies I have ever been to. I have been here twice now and both visits were highly unpleasant. When dropping off my prescription, I clearly told them what number to call and what number to NOT call when my prescription was ready. They assured me they would text me when my prescription was ready. Wrong. They called the number I specifically told them not to call. When I go to pick up my meds, the wait was long although they were not very busy. They have a phone that connects to the drive thru pharmacy so customers on the other end can hear them. While waiting to be assisted, I don't know why but the pharmacist, Cheyenne (I think that was her name), and Kimmie were yelling through the phone as if it were broken. Shouting out this man's prescription business all out in the open. I knew exactly what medication he was getting on/off. Which I should not have known. When I was finally able to be helped, Kimmie said the pharmacist was going to advise me on the medication, I said okay. Cheyenne has came over, looked over my papers and then asked me why my doctor prescribed the medication I have to me. Maybe I don't understand the roles a pharmacist would have, but I don't believe that is any of her business?? It has already been prescribed to me, so the reason behind it should not matter. I just ignored her question and she continued on with the counseling for the medication. Before she could finish, for some reason, she had to jump on the phone again and was yelling through the line to the same customer about his medication midway of her counseling. Overall, the service of the pharmacy was very poor, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Hopefully some training goes into the department soon. read more

I have been a customer at Walgreens since living in South Sac and Elk Grove over the past eight or so years. The staff is pretty friendly and the photo services are awesome. I recently used the one hour photo services; loaded my photo online and my pictures were ready within the hour and the photo quality was bright, sharp and there were no surprise adjustments! I have had four consecutive experiences getting a perscription refilled where I get there and they tell me they need additional authorization from my Doctor and this is after they call me telling me my perscription is ready for pickup. I even called ahead to ensure it would be ready this time. I will never spend another cent at this location and in the morning will be moving my business to a different pharmacy. read more
