I am indeed a couponer, and the staff here never treat me immorally. They greet me, ask me if I need help, and when I pull out the coupons, their attitude never changes. I truly hate the couponers who ruin it for everyone else. One bad apple can ruin a cashiers day. I always smile and make sure the cashiers know that I'm easy going and follow the rules. Cvs here tends to always have things in stock, when I need it. I never leave the store without purchasing something. :)

It would've been helpful if they told me when they ran my insurance and then give me a choice whether I still wanted to go through them to fill my Rx and get only 30 days of meds and then have to come back 2 more times in the next 2 months to get the rest of my full script of 90 days or to go somewhere else. I'm not sure if it's same cost to fill a 3 months script split over 3 times or not, but the inconvenience factor is a consideration for me. When I found out and the cashier explained why, she was not friendly about it. She was kind of curt and borderline rude about it, like I should've known (things could change even with the same health insurance every year) and that they have no responsibility to let me know ahead of time that they can only fill 1/3 of a 90 days script now. Anyways, they also started charging a surcharge for credit card usage and this wasn't always the case. It's only 25c for $10 charged for example, but it's the principle of passing on costs to customers when it's really the overhead that a pharmacy that's quite established should expect. Or only accept cash, but I imagine that would turn away many customers. In any case, I may have to find a new pharmacy now, unfortunately. Even though I want to continue to support a small business, the customer service piece should be as good if not better. We walked around a bit afterwards and although the gifts they sell are different and unique, the sticker shock was unreal.

Since that first referral I have been regularly getting medicine for one of my pets there, and have even requested another pet's prescriptions be sent over to them. The staff and pharmacists are exactly who you want on your side when you are dealing with the complexities of medicating pets. And what is cool about this pharmacy is that they don't just cater to pets, but they compound for humans AND animals. After my experiences with them, I would definitely request prescriptions for myself, or my family, to be sent to them, too! They have gone above and beyond, to help me get the right type, and quantity, of medication for my pets. And because of that professionalism and care, I will continue to go to them for my guys' compounding needs. For some context: for years, I had tried to use pills for my guys. I'd give them whole pills, placed them in edible pockets, crushed them up, mixed them in with wet food and broths -- it didn't matter. It was ALWAYS a hassle. And while yes compounded medication will cost a little more than buying tablets directly from the vets. Remember: you are paying for a professionally made solution, designed to taste appetizing for your pet (if given orally) or to be easily administered externally (transdermal). The price is nothing compared to avoiding the likelihood of unintentionally traumatizing your pet, and yourself, when you try to do it on your own. Make it easier on them and on you, it is worth paying a little bit now to save everyone on the chaos in the long-term. And if you have a pet that has a chronic condition, you're going to want to make medicine-time as smooth as possible, because it's going to be a regular part of having them in your life. In the end, there is nowhere else I would rather go. If I were to move out of this area, I would still have my guys' medication sent to Professional Village Compounding Pharmacy, they are worth the drive. They are worth your business. If you need something for your pets or your loved ones, or yourself, this is where you want to go.

Yesterday, the long haired blonde pharmacist, when bagging my medications, said with an oddly unpleasant tone "see you tomorrow". I asked her if I had a medication that would be ready. She responded in a now rather sarcastic tone, "no, but I see you here everyday". That was very rude and disheartening and I didn't know how to respond. This type of "medication shaming" in regards to frequency can negatively affect someone who is struggling with medical conditions and would rather not be taking medications to begin with. It did not feel like a friendly comment like "have a nice day". It was way too personal like I'm being tracked or judged. I do not feel like going to this location if these types of unprofessional comments will be the norm from this pharmacist lady. Next thing you know she'll start commenting on my medical conditions. Sensitivity training should result, in the event she encounters a customer that is ashamed of being sick or suffering from depression, or other mental health issue that affects self esteem.

HA! Reasons why I love CVS and this one in particular, is the fact that parking is never a struggle and the employees are friendly and helpful. Most of the time, things are in stock and I don't have trouble finding what I want, need, or want to think about buying. SIGN UP FOR THE EXTRABUCKS! The coupons, ExtraBucks, and 2% cashback makes it so fun. There was once a time where I couponed SO HARD that the balance went to $0.00! If there's ever an error or I need help, the employees are timely and communicative. One time, I had this coupon that was not working and the manager went above and beyond to ensure that the coupon worked for me! I will never talk bad about this place, ever. The pharmacy can get busy at times but I've never had a hard time with the staff. CVS is a retail store so there's always stuff to be put out on display; the workers do their best and I appreciate their efforts and work. When Christmas is over, their sales are worth checking out so you can load up on gift bags, gift card holders, and wrapping paper at half the price or cheaper. All in all, this CVS is my favorite. What a difference a week makes! On 17 October 2025, I posted…read morethat Sacramento's Midtown Target had permanently closed its restroom for customers. Its closing, I wrote, had been ordered by a Ms. Ashley who had just been named the store's new Director. A week later, on 21 October, I returned to Target Midtown -- and the customer restroom was open! It has remained open since, much to the relief not only of customers, but store employees who no longer must turn away people desperate for a restroom. What happened? According to one Target team member, who will remain anonymous, it came down to a lack of communications at the store at 1707 J Street. A day or two before my original posting, Ms. Ashley had introduced herself to Target Midtown's staff. Among other things, she told them she was committed to Target's policy of clean, open restrooms -- and that she would return in November to officially become the Director. Somehow, her words were misunderstood! Believing she had called for closing the customers' restroom, the employees immediately shut it down, when in fact, Ms. Ashley wanted it open! After reading my original posting a day or two after it appeared online, Ms. Ashley tracked down my email address. On 19 October, she sent me an email that said: "I apologize that you were denied access to Target's restroom during your (latest) shopping experience...You should expect to see the restroom open on your next trip into the store. Please reach out to me if that is not the case." In her email, Ms. Ashley indicated she had again spoken to top employees at Target Midtown to clarify matters. "I have reinforced the open-restroom policy with the leaders at the store who are running it until I report in November," she told me in the email. Ms. Ashley apparently found out abut the restroom crisis by reading my Yelp posting. Though I haven't met her, let me say it on the record: Ms. Ashley may be the best Director this Target has ever had. The employees respect her; they like her -- that's what they have told me. Thank you for reopening the restroom, Ms. Ashley! And thank you, Yelp, for posting my words. Target employees told me they, too, are glad the customers' restroom is open again. "It was really difficult to tell guests there no longer was a restroom for them," one Target Team member told me. In closing, I apologize for my delay in posting this follow-up, but I have been extremely busy. Thank you!
