While my last review still 100% stands, I did want to give them credit for their photo self service area, I have used their photo service many many times and every time always a headache trying to get photos uploaded. I went this past weekend and was ready for the process to print 1 photo to be a headache as normal, but to my surprise their system was updated and it was soooo easy to upload my picture I wanted to printed I couldn't believe how quick it was. I went back the next day to print another picture because it was just that easy. I am so glad they updated the upload process makes it so much easier! read more

It was OK, I was in and out, no big deal. I usually go to CVS Pharmacy on Laguna Boulevard. The employees are ALL VERY NICE. The pharmacy is always clean, neat and orderly. The employees really make the pharmacy what it is, professional. Kim is one of the directors, she is always very pleasant, she goes out of her way to make my visit worthwhile. HORRIBLE!!!! This pharmacy is terrible if they don't have the medication you need. Took 2 prescriptions in, one was filled, no problem. When I went to pick up the prescriptions (2-3 hours later), I was then informed they couldn't fill the second one (no call, no communication until I arrived for pickup). When asked, the pharmacy tech told me they would have it the next day. The next day came, no communication. I called at 4:00 pm and can only leave a voicemail, cannot speak directly with the pharmacy. Get a call back and THEN they tell me they did not get the medication and ask if I just want them to keep trying until they get it. I tell the tech I will just come in to pick up my prescription form and I am told I cannot pick it up, it can only be transferred to another pharmacy! I return home, and after half a dozen phone calls I fine the medication at a local Wallgreens. The Wallgreens pharmacy sends a request to CVS to transfer the prescription. Another day goes by, I call Wallgreens at 4:00 pm and I am told the CVS has not replied to the transfer request. I try calling CVS and can only leave a message, CANNOT speak directly with the pharmacy. Their message says they will return the call within the hour. WRONG! They don't bother to call back. I call Wallgreens again at 5:30 pm and again they have not received an acknowledgement from CVS. You can't even leave a message if the pharmacy isn't open !!!!!!! read more

4-5-21 I'm actually really disappointed that I'm writing this Review as I make it a point to never write "Bad Reviews." Especially for a company like CVS who I pay an annual fee for their CarePass and even own Stock in but the way I was treated today lead me here. I've been on a routine schedule with my prescription and live by the CVS PatientPortal/Texts for transparency. In my line of work my daily schedule/Calendar are my life. Today all the rules have changed and every time i speak to someone different they deliver different information. I was recommended by multiple staff to "ignore" dates and medical history found on the Portal & texts as this particular pharmacy's policy is to manually confirm and communicate to their patients.(scary considering every employee has different info here.) After receiving the very informative recommendation from Nina. She asked me to call back to speak with her manager Diem. To Diems credit she showed loyalty towards Nina and stood behind her doubling down on CVSs Portal/Policies/Software, saying this specific location has "their own policy." I come to CVS for efficiency, transparency, convenience and consistency. Today I was told ignore it all and instead of helping a loyal customer- they as a team aimed to win what they thought was a debate and that's very unsettling. read more

They will tell you your Dr did not send over the prescription when they are out of your meds, why? Because they don't want you to go somewhere else to get them. I try NEVER to even go into the store for anything. Now, today 5/7/2023 CVS in Elk Grov, I called them and told them my wife has covid and she needs the medications. I told CVS she has a Dr. appointment at 5:00pm and we will send the prescription there. The pharmacist said OK great. CVS web site says open till 10:00PM. I get to the pharmacy at 6:00pm and them mother fuckers were closed. The Pharmacist KNEW our Dr appointment was at the SAME time as her Dr. appointment. They will tell you anything, EVEN let you die to NOT miss a sale. FUCK YOU CVS!!! I will be calling the A.G. of California to file a complaint. read more

This is the 2nd most frequented CVS I go to. I don't live super close but a few miles is not too bad. Staff here are quite hit or miss, some of the cashiers are nice, others are kind of rude. I find the managers and supervisors to be quite friendly, but there's a couple of cashiers that could use some training on customer SERVICE. Prices are very high at all CVS stores if you were to pay retail, but some of the deals they have are decent. This store is in a shopping plaza, but at the end of one so it's almost like it has its own parking lot so parking is never a problem and it's close to the freeway and easy to get in and out of this store. This is an older store but they have remodeled and it's a pretty big store (that used to be Long's), so they have quite a selection of all kinds of health and beauty supply and sundries and other essentials. However, they are still using those super old green Long's Drugs carts and have just added newer, smaller, metal carts which I prefer to use and those are actually clean and not grimy. I used their bathroom a couple of times and one time they were actually out of toilet paper and I had to soften up some paper towel... dislike! The bathroom also wasn't very clean, but it was decent and clean enough to use. Don't expect the same nice environment as you would find at a Raley's or Bel-Air bathroom. Think Safeway bathroom or worse... What they really need at ALL CVS stores are complimentary cart/hand wipes, which I know won't happen b/c CVS is a big corporation that's more about making $ and less about providing the best customer service possible regardless of cost... read more

This pharmacy is HORRIBLE!!!! The pharmacist, Moon, is so rude and unpleasant. My mother just had neck surgery and needed her pain medication. They treated her as if she was some sort of addict and was unwilling to call her doctor to get the prescription sorted out. My mom, who at the time was in excruciating pain and could hardly talk, was told to call her doctor and have them call Moon. The level of compassion and empathy that was shown to an elderly woman who just had major surgery on her spine was next to none. The service was so bad I had to involve myself and ultimately switch her pharmacy to another CVS in Target. I'm assuming they have the same policies as they are both CVS. However the experience with the other pharmacist has been much more pleasant and she has had no issues filling a prescription and has been treated with respect and compassion. 0 out of 10... would not recommend using this pharmacy read more

Calling the pharmacy sucks First time I've ever waited in a line for a pharmacy and it's taking forever Went in there about a month later the pharmacist barely wants to look me in the eyes and mumbles under her breath "one minute" and takes off. Another girl came To Help me. The 2nd time I called this location pharmacy I was driving to the pharmacy from work stuck in traffic and I was put on hold for almost 10-15min! when I arrived To the pharmacy the girl who answered the phone was on another call a personal call to her family making kissing and lovey noises...please tell me this was not why I was on hold. Very dirty. Restroom does not look like it has truly been cleaned in some time. No toilet paper even though their are two dispensers. Both empty. Store also dirty. No manager could be found and I could not get any of the employees to call him/her without standing in a very long line. Tried to call corporate but at 2:30 they were no answering their phones and just disconnected the line. Their voice bot did not recognize "customer service" as a department. Hate to have to come here. I pick up a family members prescriptions here...but the pharmacy is always understaffed and they cannot service their customers properly. Prices in the store very high as well. Box of Cheerios..$4.95, had to buy iron supplement, was over $10..same exact item at Target..$3.95..I avoid CVS. Great location to go to!!! I recently started getting my RX here, and have no trouble what so ever.They get everything done timely,and let you know ASAP that your RX is ready for pickup. I used to take my prescriptions to CVS, but my insurance changed and I had to switch pharmacies. Later I was able to go back to CVS, so I decided to switch my medications to their pharmacy. As a person who was rear-ended by a semi and again by a woman who panicked and hit the gas instead of the break I live in near constant pain. Because of which, I have to take narcotics; however, to limit the amount of drugs I am on I also use other prescription alternatives, such as valtaren gel (an anit-inflammatory cream, lidocane cream and patches, and Naproxine (essentially alive). I went to fill one of my pain medications with them after having switched over my migraine medication and Naproxine and they told me that "due to California law" they could not fill the prescription more than one day before the last prescription ran out. As a law student, I said "show me where the law says that!" Now after three days of research the pharmacist explains there is no law on how long one must wait, they just have a policy that they will not fill narcotic prescriptions more than 2 days before the previous prescription. (remember earlier I had been told one day). Apparently, CVS wants to treat everyone who suffers in pain as if they are all addicts, telling us when we can and cannot fill our pain medications despite our doctors, who are the ones monitoring our care, prescribing them. I am moving all my prescriptions back to my old pharmacy. read more

Very poorly run pharmacy..I've been with them over 2yrs..my husband has end stage renal disease and we had to consistently wait for his medications,though I was told by the clerks that they were ready..At times the staff was very unprofessional to the point of being mean..Aparrently the Pharmacist and staff believe it's OK to be rude and make people return several times to pick up their meds...I will definitely steer people away from this pharmacy...No One deserves to be treated poorly. . read more

I ordered my prescription few days ago, I received those automated calls that my prescription is ready but when I picked it up they did not even run my insurance so I got charged the full price. Also, While I was waiting I noticed the dissatisfaction of customer since they could not pick up their prescription because the staff were making excuses that they were so busy that nothing has been done... I am a Target lover. However, lately I go to CVS for everything to avoid the crowds. You can find almost everything at CVS and it's usually pretty close in price to Target. Omfg!! This is just one incident On hold 30 minutes and hung up as pulling into parking lot!! Bad customer service!! They really don't care at this pharmacy!! After being on hold walking in I stood at the counter 7 minutes my mind was going there and I said aloud can I and I was rudely cut off and told that I'd just have to wait there's only two of us and we're filling we have nobody to help the customers I walked out to return the next day just them two ladies again only...they are bullies don't care bout customers and while there someone returned some pills they got from there for their grandma and it wasn't their pills they wanted to return them and get grandma's!
