The fresh baked bread here seems to be the best compared to other grocery stores in the area, however it costs a lot more. The pugliese bread is my favorite as it is soft, fluffy, and taste delicious! The sourdough is also yummy and has a light airy consistency.  The sandwiches are made with the fresh baked bread and are delicious! Even though the store opens at 6am, the bread is not ready until 8-9am, therefore it is best to order a sandwich a couple hours after the store opens for the optimum selection of bread. I once made the mistake of ordering a sandwich at 7am and was only presented with two bread options: sliced bread or focaccia. I selected the focaccia and although the bread was tasty, it made for a very soft and ultimately soggy sandwich.  There is a large prepared/hot food section that is self-serve. On one occasion while I was selecting a soup to purchase I witnessed an employee wiping up the spilled food from the counter and putting it back into the large food tray. It was absolutely nauseating and I immediately questioned if I should even purchase the soup given the lack of proper food cleanup/handling.  The grocery items cost much more than other grocery stores for the same exact item. Nugget seems to carry a variety of high-quality ingredients and typical well-known brands. The cost of produce and meat is much higher than other grocery stores, although the meat is typically sourced from local farms.  During Thanksgiving Nugget carries a large selection of high quality turkeys. There are a few turkeys that are sourced from local farms that are advertised as natural, antibiotic free, and free range. When purchasing a Turkey for Thanksgiving it is always advised to call and preorder as the high quality turkeys sell out fast. read more

Ordered from the smoothie bar and got a seasonal Thai tea for summer 2026. Was told that it tasted like Thai tea but it isn't orange and I said that was fine because in regular Thai tea they use food coloring to make it orange. It tasted more like a black milk tea, but it was still enjoyable. My mango madness was great too. Easy service and the small seating area had a microwave and nice toaster if you're ever on your lunch break. There was utensils, napkins, and a few condiments. read more

The tres leches cake was really good overall! The cake itself was soft, moist, and delicious, and I really liked the strawberries and berries on top. My only suggestion would be to make the tres leches/wet part a little less sweet. It was slightly too sweet for me, and balancing out the sweetness would make the cake even better. Stopped in to grab a few Sandwiches. I ordered the Firecracker, TBA, & Monster pastrami. Sandwiches were good but could've had a little more meat for the price. Definitely felt like I was eating more bread than anything. The pastrami was $17.99 & it didn't have that much pastrami. Was at the Greenhaven location & they definitely made much better sandwiches. I guess it just depends on who's making the sandwich. The Firecracker was cracked pepper turkey, pepper jack, cheddar, roasted red peppers, red onions, spring mix, and chipotle mayo on ciabatta. I also added sprouts. I should've asked for extra extra sprouts. The TBA was turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo on a soft white roll. The Monster Pastrami was pastrami, swiss, red onion, pickie epperoncini, lettuce, mayo, mustard. It took awhile for them to make 3 sandwiches and it wasn't busy. They have a nice Dessert selection. They have cakes, cupcakes, cake slices, macarons, cookies, pies, etc. They also have meats for Charcuterie & excellent selection of cheeses. You can also order Sushi platters. Just when I left a great review, this had to happen. The Toma Tero organic farm strawberries have slugs all in them. Just purchased these on 10/02/26. Please pull these off your shelves. I purchased two of these and they both had slugs in them. The produce should be inspected better and rotated. The service is still great , customer service is great, still love the ambiance, but slugs in the produce is a parasitic disaster waiting to happen. read more

I love the Juice Bar, Deli, Hot Foods, and Bakery sections here--and the fact that it's conveniently close to me is a big plus. They offer a great variety of freshly made juices, smoothies, and coffee. My go-tos are The Protector, C-Madness, and Nananut. The coffee is pretty standard, but they also feature seasonal drinks on their menu. From the bakery, the Champagne Cake and Burnt Almond Cake are both amazing. I like that they also sell individual slices, perfect when you just want a small treat. The store itself is clean and well-organized, and the staff are generally helpful. Prices can be on the higher side, but the quality of their produce, meats, and cheese selection definitely makes up for it. Overall, I love the Nugget and so do my kids. This Store is AMAZING! Clean, Great Prices & Top-Tier Service! Omg, I am in love with this Nugget Market! I was immediately impressed with how incredibly organized and sparkling clean the entire store is. It just feels good to shop here. On top of that, the customer service is by far top-tier. Every employee I interacted with was friendly and genuinely helpful. Now, I know what you're thinking--a store that looks this nice must be expensive, right? WRONG! I was so pleasantly surprised by their price points. I looked around and immediately noticed that anyone can shop here. They have plenty of sales and great deals on all sorts of grocery items, so it's not just a "special occasion" store. By the way, I found my favorite Non-Dairy Ice Cream for under $5, which is a super great deal that you just don't see very often. And here's the kicker: they have a Tesla charging station right outside. I was able to get all my shopping done and come back out to a fully charged car. I like Shopping at The Nugget. They carry everything I'm looking for when shopping at a grocery store. The Meat and Deli/Bakery service was Exceptional! The employees who worked those counters immediately greeted us with a smile and assisted us without delay. It was so nice. Unfortunately during Checkout the Cashier was Not friendly and unhelpful. My Son who is special needs likes to play Scratchers/Lotto and had a hundred dollar bill he received from his Grandparents for Christmas. We asked the cashier if she could break up the bill and she responded like it was an inconvenience for her to do that. My wife got a little frustrated with her and said she was going to the service desk next to the lotto machine because there was an older gentleman there. NO HELP!!! He knew she was there and ignored her. He looked like a manager and that's what was so disappointing. I guess the front end people work by example. Always able to find what I need. Big parking lot. Have not had any customer service issues. No self checkout here so it's nice to have human interaction now that so many stores have self checkout. I often come here because they have Producers Dairy ice cream, which is a family owned business based in Fresno. I do wish they had more ice cream flavors from them but so far I've enjoyed their peanut butter chocolate ice cream. I like that this supermarket carries a variety of ice cream brands and continues to have Thrifty ice cream after all the Rite Aid stores have closed. read more

Cake is never dry , and the frosting is not overpowering with sweetness. It's just perfect! The sandwiches are soo good if it is made the right way. I stood in front of the sandwich stand for a good 8-10 minutes waiting for the employees to finish up making sandwiches and chit-chatting. No one asked if I would like to order or say "give me a few minutes" just silence and the employee looking up every now and then and still ignoring me. Finally, they take my order. I ask for extra veggies and mayo. There was the regular amount of veggies and not a single drop of mayo. Also, I noticed that another guy was sweeping the area right around the sandwich making table. Just a heads up: the deli gets busy, especially on weekdays, and they usually run out of the marinated portobello around midday. If you want to try the Californian, get there early! I do like that place with its private labels and great sense of humor, which is MUCH better than the overpriced natural chain, but NUGGET IS STILL THE BEST!! I LOVE the deli!!
