I'm a big fan of Trader Joe's in general. This location is especially nice due to the large parking lot it shares with the rest of the shopping center. I also found this location to be well stocked and it had 3 full rows of frozen items whereas some stores only have two. My only complaint is that I went in a Sunday and it was full chaos inside due to how busy it was but that wasn't the store's fault. Just be prepared for the madness if you come in the weekend. read more

Grocery shopping at Trader Joe's has always been a good, positve experience. This location has lots of parking. It is very clean and well stocked. This visit just needed a few items. They have a variety of dark chocolate items. Their Belgium 72% cacao bar is a high preference and it is a huge 1 pound bar. They also have dark chocoloate covered raisins, espresso beans, cherries, etc. The wine selection are also a good option. Pinot is my fav which are from local valley and Napa wineries. Also one of a few places with good goat milk. The staff here are always very helpful and check out is quick. read more

Customer service 4.0 My daughter is home a few more days and she wanted to shop for food: fruit, snacks, etc; so after our chiropractor appointment we make a stop at our local Trader Joe's! A Wednesday morning and they're already busy and all the workers were head down stocking the shelves. But because I was with my daughter she kept the dialogue while shopping light and FUN . She kept throwing in food in the cart so I hope she's gonna eat all this food before she leaves back to Washington, LOL! It's a long shot since we have dinner plans every night before she leaves and there will probably be leftovers each night too! Nicole was cashiering and was a total sweet heart, but sadly still had me pay for my groceries. I look forward to my next shopping trip here especially for another bag of orange chicken! read more

Up until today the only reason why I came to this particular location is strictly for the great prices and quality of the food items. This location is quite busy and I will say that the staff is amazing, but it's the customers in the store, that' spike up my anxiety lol However, today was a great day, and the person that made it extra special was Rosie who was my cashier. She greeted me with a smile. She asked me how my day was. We had a little conversation and she said I appreciate customers like you. This is why I work here. That alone made me feel special. Love coming here since they have so many different things they offer. It was pretty busy when I came which is a lot of times. They have remodeled the place since I last reviewed it. The freezer section is bigger and seems to have more room to look at everything. They have a lot of frozen stuff and it is unique and mostly good. I love trying new frozen foods here since they are good . The service here is amazing and they will always help you when you need it. First time buying their infamous Trader Joe's Halloween minibags. We have to thank Nadine, Yelp Hawaii extraordinaire for the tips! We normally don't shop here regularly. Go figure bc they are close by but we have plenty of grocery stores even closer to us. My wife wanted the purple & black Trader Joe's bags. She didn't realize how small the mini was. It's ok. They are kind of cute & are useful down the line. That morning we were there a few hours prior. By 8 AM the line extended past Skechers if you're aware of this strip mall it was a very long line!!! But for 2.99 each why not? They did limit us 1 per color at 4 bags total. If you needed to use the restroom you would have to drive elsewhere. You're not allowed in the store until 8 AM. This TJ's recently underwent a remodel and it is lighter, brighter, and easier to get around now. They also added another freezer aisle so there's a bigger and more bountiful section of your favorites. There is some adjustment as some things have moved around but it's much easier to navigate the store with the new layout. Yesterday I went shopping for my sibkid with their list -they are heading back to college this fall. I wanted to jumpstart their supplies so they have their faves starting day one. The store had everything in stock and I could buy multiples of their favorites. Very grateful for this location. The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind and the customers are easy to get along with (a big switch from East Sacramento's Folsom Blvd. location). Parking is ample. read more

You don't have a list but end up putting a lot of things in your cart by the time you walk around the store. Recently, the expanded the frozen aisle section and its bigger that means more selections and more things that go into the cart! Lots of options to pick from frozen food and or fresh fruits. Love it! Always a great experience at this trader joe's. Anytime I need help the employees are usually pretty helpful with finding what I'm looking for. Came in today for the mini canvas bags! This store has a limit of 2 per person. My husband came with me so he got me the red one. There was no chaos like you see online. There were over 100 people in line but once the store opens the line moves pretty fast. I was in and out within 10 mins. If I didn't do some quick grocery shopping I probably would have been done in 2 mins. That is how lightning fast they were. The employees were not playing. They were set up so well it was such a calm shopping trip instead of stress and chaos. I've been coming to this Trader Joe's for years. It's always great experience. The staff there are super nice. The food selection is smaller compared to one of the bigger grocery stores, but hey you can still get all the fruits and veggies you need. Plus their flowers are always cheap. And their frozen section makes weeknight dinners so simple. I love the recent upgrades they did to the freezers. Definitely makes the store more welcoming. First time at this location and I can say I left very satisfied. The store layout itself is open and clean with the products being neatly organized. As for the prices, it definitely ranges based on the item but from my experience it's always been worth it. After a few laps around the store I finally got to the checkout and let me tell you, the service was 10/10! Not only were they quick but maintained a positive attitude the entire time. I have to admit, I'm not a Trader Joe's girly, it's just not jam BUT I do love making charcuterie boards and was told they have a good selection of cheeses so instead of battling the crowds at my normal cheese go to, Costco, I came here. And yes, their cheese selection was ok but it was pretty much picked through because Thanksgiving is in 2 days and that's 100% my fault for procrastinating. I browsed the isles and picked up some packaged meals for home. While their prices are cheap, it matches their portions. I'd have to get 2-3 bags/boxes of a frozen meal to feed my family. Overall, it's a decent store. I'd return if I'm assembling a smaller charcuterie board and I do love they offer lots of fresh flowers, so it is kind of a one stop board making shop. read more

I decided to risk it all and go to Trader Joe's with my toddler. I say "risk it all" because I usually avoid crowded public places for the sake of both my baby and myself. While shopping, my toddler had a meltdown in the middle of the store. Seeing the situation escalate, I headed to the checkout with what I had, hoping to pay quickly. As I reached the front, there were people waiting in line, and my toddler's screaming and crying intensified. I didn't want to abandon a full cart for the employees to put back, and I also needed the groceries. Everything happened so fast that I panicked, became overwhelmed, and started to cry. Immediately, an employee approached my toddler with a lollipop, and another customer came to comfort me. Then, another employee brought me a bouquet of flowers, which made me cry even more, but this time out of joy. The cashier assisted me, and another employee walked me to my car and helped unload my groceries. It was heartwarming to see that now a days there are still individuals with compassion and kindness in their hearts Thank you so much to everyone who helped turn that stressful and overwhelming situation around. ahhh, trader joe's! Is there anything negative I can say about this place? It's my to-go grocery store whenever I wanna try new things out or get my favorite staples. Their cheese selection is *mmm*, I highly suggest trying out their wild mushroom brie! It's something I can't find anywhere else and it's just one of the yummiest cheeses I've ever had. Whenever I find myself in this store, I always grab something I haven't tried yet. The prices are affordable but be careful since things add up real quick! Their flowers are gorgeous and always fresh. The prices for them are the best here. I always come to Trader Joe's if I need to pick up flowers for any occasion. There's no self-checkout line so you're forced to interact with the highly energetic cashiers every time you purchase something (sorry introverts...). I used to think that the uniqueness of Trader Joe's was that they carried a lot of healthy options. But I have come to learn that this is not the case. Of course the produce department is fresh and healthy, I'll give you that. But the bakery, packaged, canned, and frozen foods are more tasty than health oriented. Joe K and I just enjoy shopping there on occasion whenever we are in the area. It's more like a product discovery zone. Finding and trying products that might add an additional taste surprise to our home cooking menu, is always a nice change to the usual mundane grocery store shelf displays. For the most part, Trader Joe's is not your normal neighborhood grocery store. They carry a lot of products you can't find elsewhere.  However this can also be a drawback when you find something you like and return to find that they no longer carry said item.  As often as we shop here, I find that we have developed a love/hate relationship with this store at times.  Apparently if something doesn't sell well, it goes away.  Or it could be seasonal, or discontinued. We still keep coming back to shop, because we like the fresh produce, bread selections, condiments, liquors, and their brand name products.  Then we still have to run down to our neighborhood grocery store and get the remaining items on our shopping list that is available and cheaper.  Why do we continue shopping at Trader Joe's?  Because we are dedicated to patronizing local businesses, driving around spending gas money, getting lots of exercise walking and dodging fellow shoppers with their carts parked in the middle of the aisle while browsing, and best of all, the thrill of hunting like scavengers for a special product. I just recently started shopping at Trader Joe's. I usually go in for their bottled celery juice. They have have juice which is consistent with Bel Air, Nugget and Sprouts. Trader Joe's prices are significantly lower and there is always a good supply. They also have fabulous greeting cards at a significantly lower price, fresh cut flowers and orchids. I'm slowly trying some of their other food items. Their tortilla chips are fantastic. Love them. Employees are super friendly, helpful and professional. Almost all my quarantine meals lately have consisted of something from Trader Joe's. If I'm in the mood for something quick, they have a great selection of grab and go items like chicken tikka masala, red curry chicken medallions and Chicken Marsala. I've also recently discovered some new frozen food faves including orange chicken bowls, Cuban pork with black beans and lime rice bowl, paella, chicken with mushrooms and edamame. Let's not forget their desserts. My go to items are mango mochi, opera cake, and Ube ice cream, which I'm currently addicted to. For the most part, they've had good quantity levels during the pandemic. They also limit the number of patrons in the store. While the wait to get in can get long, I've learned to avoid the crowds by going off hours instead of the weekends or after work. Staff at this location have and remain super friendly. I know they're tired and probably very stressed out, but you would never know. The high level of customer service remains unchanged. read more
