The servings are HUGE!!! GO with the kids size for it will mimic a large portion if you went elsewhere and its a lot cheaper. This spot is well supported by the neighborhood which I enjoyed witnessing during our visit. The gentleman (owner) is sweet (he can look intimidating at first) If you're in the area - come support!

I forgot this place existed. I came here with my wife and it was like a flashback to old Elk Grove. Like everyone says, the portions are huge. The yogurt tartness is there. There was only one person running the shop and she was doing great. Lots of tiger decor around the old shop. Some people say it may be old, but really, it's a step back into my childhood.

This is most definitely a hole in the wall... Flavor wise (and choices) -- I would have to say delicious. They literally had root beer float on tap in the form of yogurt, now that is cool. Location? Right off of Elk Grove Blvd. Easy to find, easy to park... A little OVER the top with Tiger decor. Sure, it's the name of your business, but this is like an antique paradise meets dessert chills..... we can chill on all the Tiger face at on the walls.... Worth a visit, at least once. . . . . .

Hidden Gem Alert! I almost don't want to write this review because I selfishly want to keep this place a secret... but they deserve all the love! This yogurt spot is criminally underrated. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with genuine smiles and no-frills atmosphere. The prices? Honestly unbeatable. You're getting top-tier quality yogurt without the top-tier price tag -- and in this economy, that's practically a miracle. They don't hold back on portions. Toppings are plentiful my go to is mochi. But what really sets this place apart is the service. The staff treat you like family. They're warm, helpful, and genuinely seem to love what they do. If you're looking for great yogurt, affordable prices, and wholesome vibes, skip the chains and come here instead. You won't regret it.

Tigers Yogurt is an Elk Grove staple, and I'm glad to see it's still here surviving over the years! They still remain affordable compared to other spots and it's such a generous portion. The child's size is plenty for me! I like their different swirl options but decided to try the peach flavor today. It was delicious! I wish the shop had more outdoor seating but otherwise it's a great option to get a quick little treat and support a local business.

This yogurt shop had a nice selection of flavors and toppings. Not to mention they really fill the cup! The inside is definitely a blast from the past! Reminds me of the Stockton Tigers yogurt.

Generous serving size. Good size. Nice and cool inside. Shaded parking. Good prices. It's like a mini Yougurtland

It was super hot outside and I randomly asked the cashier at Hobby Lobby, where the closest yet tastiest froyo shop was? I landed at Tiger Yogurt and it did not disappoint! In short, the customer service was great and the frozen yogurt was delicious. Interestingly enough, the yogurt has a unique and creamier taste than other froyo shops. I like it! Froyo is served by the size and the portions are huge. I split my "small" serving size over the course of two days. Apparently Tiger Yogurt has been around for 37 years and I just discovered it. I plan to return, as soon as next week!

Tigers yogurt is def my fav yogurt spot! Small shop located by Big Lots on Elk Grove Blvd. The decor is a bit outdated inside, but I don't mind it at all. Their yogurts are so smooth and creamy. The flavors are very mellow, not too overpowering. And the portions are HUGE! Mini is the perfect size for me. Always look forward to coming back to see what flavors they have for the day :)

Tigers yogurt is THE BEAT IN ALL OF SACRAMENTO COUNTY!!! He's been open 37 years. Great value and yogurt. We don't even live in Elk Grove anymore and we make a point to stop here if we are at all close! Even when it's pouring rain we get our yogurt!!!

I've been coming to this little hole in the wall for the past 15 years or so. Locally owned and you get what you pay for and more. They really pack on the yogurt and it's at a reasonable price. I love supporting local places and this is one of the best places to go on a hot summer day. Pros: there's a large variety of flavors available and they allow you taste test as much as you want. The staff are friendly, I believe the father is normally running the shop but sometimes his children are the ones who run it. Plenty of parking and usually it's not super busy. Cons: none

An employee has to get the samples for you, and the employee helping me wasn't accustomed to pouring out samples. It got all over her fingers and it was disgusting and unhygienic. I should've refused the sample but I felt bad. I tried two other samples and the same thing happened -- yogurt all over her fingers. I tried to only taste the parts that did not touch her hands. After providing me samples, she did not wash her hands and helped other customers. This whole experience felt very unsanitary and I did not enjoy it at all. I also don't understand the need for the employees having to pour out samples. I have never experienced that at any other frozen yogurt spot and it made the store feel really cheap. It also was not efficient at all. I love trying out smaller businesses, but in this case I would've rather gone to a chain nearby. I would not come here again. There is majority fruity flavors, which were okay. The flavors weren't as strong as I was expecting. I went with the cookies and cream, which was solid. The only plus is that I liked how there is a wide variety of toppings. But with the toppings being in such large containers, I wonder how often they change out the toppings and if they only top it off when it gets low, rather than also taking the older toppings out from the bottom.
