Yes please. I love fro-yo. This spot is reminiscent of Yogurt Park in Berkeley. Low prices, huge portions, toppings in the middle and top and creamy fro yo. We went in on a recent visit to Elk Grove. The $4 kids size is HUGE. For an additional $1 you can choose up to 3 toppings from an array of options. I went with the peanut butter/chocolate swirl with some fun toppings and it was indulgent, delicious and satisfied all sweet tooth cravings. What a great Elk Park gem! read more

I was always taken to this place as a kid but haven't really been there in a really long time until a few weeks ago. I decided to stop by while riding home and they were just opening up. The person working the counter was courteous. I ordered a small yogurt which at first looked expensive on the menu but they don't skimp out on the yogurt. They also don't skimp out on the unlimited amount of toppings which cost a little extra but not by much. Their Oreo cream yogurt was delicious. I also like the small mom and pop shop ambiance this place has vs other yogurt shops in the area which are mostly chains. It's also nice knowing only one person is handling the yogurt and toppings from behind the counter compared to self serve yogurt shops where you really don't know if the other customers have germs or might be handling everything while they're sick. This place is so good and has a variety of flavors and toppings. BUT If there are two flavors to get here, it's the strawberry, white chocolate almond, or both (both is the berry swirl). The portions are huge and so affordable! A small size is very shareable. They charge extra for toppings. The tables and decor are a little out dated. In short, the customer service was great and the frozen yogurt was delicious. Interestingly enough, the yogurt has a unique and creamier taste than other froyo shops. I like it! Froyo is served by the size and the portions are huge. I split my "small" serving size over the course of two days. Apparently Tiger Yogurt has been around for 37 years and I just discovered it. I've been coming to this little hole in the wall for the past 15 years or so. Locally owned and you get what you pay for and more. They really pack on the yogurt and it's at a reasonable price. I love supporting local places and this is one of the best places to go on a hot summer day. Pros: there's a large variety of flavors available and they allow you taste test as much as you want. Took my beautiful nieces here for a quick sweet treat. We each ordered a "Junior" size yogurt. While the associate made sure to top off the yogurt super generously - we were not so impressed with the flavors of the yogurt we chose. This spot only offers dry toppings and does not carry fresh fruit which I found odd because most yogurt places do?! Nonetheless, it wasn't very pricey for 4 orders ($28) and the gal that served us was really nice. I'm all for supporting local small businesses but note to management -- please consider adding fresh fruit as topping options. I'm sure it would be a huge hit! We enjoyed most of our yogurt there dining in but ended up asking for a cap to take the rest to-go. Tiger's is my favorite place for frozen yogurt in Elk Grove. They're consistent with their flavors and the owner is always sweet. My favorite is the red velvet, which is only available on Wednesday's. The styrofoam cups make look small but the swirls are huge. For a junior size, it's like a medium when the yogurt is packed high. You can ask for a couple of flavors side by side packed high. Today we came to get our fixing of some yogurt on this hot Sunday afternoon. It was nice and quiet when we came and then all of a sudden we brought the crowd. A no-frills froyo shop. Order at the counter. I wanted to try the Irish mint flavor but it wasn't available at the time (rotating flavors). I got the mini-size Oreos n cream froyo with cookies and cream cookie crumble topping. The froyo flavor is essentially half chocolate and half "cream" (tasted like instant coffee creamer.....didn't like it much). The cashier lady didn't skimp on the topping (she added the topping into the cup first before using the soft-serve machine), which was nice. The mini size froyo was a little bit too much for me; it's a shareable size if you want a small sweet treat. Overall, it's a place for your froyo cravings. Take your kiddos here. Tiger yogurt is one of my favorite froyo shops to go to. The froyo is always good and fresh, the place is nice and cozy and the owner/staff are super friendly. I like dessert as much as the next person, but I usually don't go for froyo since I'm more of a cookie person. Tiger yogurt is one of those shops where I'll usually go to because I want the food and not just because everyone else wants to go. I went here yesterday and it was empty when we walked in. It's cold so I didn't really expect any customers to be there. I sampled the French vanilla and it was amazing. I like vanilla flavored ice cream/froyo (I know, I'm boring) and this place has one of the best. I got the mini with half vanilla and half pineapple Berry fusion. The vanilla balanced out the tartness of the pineapple Berry fusion flavor. I got a topping of cap'n crunch cereal to go with my yogurt. I ordered a mini, but the owner (?) Aka person serving us told us he's using the next size up to accommodate the topping. So he gave us a bigger cup each and filled the yogurt to the top. Excellent service! I took home about half of mine since there was a lot, but I finished it quickly once I got home. There is also a minimum of $4 for card use. I will be back, when I'm in the area. read more
