    Mango Coconut Bingsoo. ;-)
    Frances T.

Never disappointed with order, service or vibe. Their shave iced desserts are just amazing. Just enough sweetness, gorgeous to look at, and the lack of guilt having such a delicious and tasty dessert because it's shaved ice, right? It's just within walking distance, so another guilt-free reason to support this local business. Yes, encourage you to run, not walk to taste and experience what I can't fully describe.

Stopped in Fri night for something sweet. Ordered the mango coconut bingsoo. You order from the kiosk. The bingsoos here are huge! You can definitely share them. Loved the mango & wish there was more little mochis. Staff were friendly. It wasn't busy when I arrived but shortly after the place filled up.

A really nice and cute boba shop. They offer caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks. They also offered snacks and desserts. You order at the kiosk and they will call your name when it is ready. I have tried few different drinks so far. Each drink, I had the sweetness level adjusted. I am so glad their drinks are not overly sweet. Some other boba places, their drinks are still too sweet even though you have the sweetness level adjusted lower. I tried the coconut coffee, lime orange tea, Hong Kong milk tea and banana cinnamon einspanner. All really good. The drink that stood out the most was the lime orange tea. It was really refreshing. This will be a good choice during summer. Service was nice and friendly. Looking forward to try their other drinks next time.

Biscoff Banana Bingsu (sub whipped cream instead of ice cream)

I shared a banana biscoff shaved snow with a friend. It had layers of shaved snow, biscoff crumbles, sliced banana, and banana syrup, It came with a side of condensed milk. They were out of ice cream, so they offered complimentary toppings, including whipped cream, boba, and flan. I added half of the condensed milk, but that made the dessert too sweet so we couldn't finish. We thought the ice cream would've been a lot better, as we weren't a fan of the whipped cream and boba. The flan was really good, but also too sweet with everything. Overall, I did like the layers of snow with biscoff and bananas, but I would do without the toppings we got and only take ice cream if they have it. The service was quick and friendly and the venue was cute with plenty of seating.

Out of all the dessert places I've been recommended to try in Elk Grove, I probably hear about Bru Tea the most. I see why now. It's a small-ish establishment best known for their bingsu, but I dropped with some friends to try their drinks instead. The Lychee Dragonfruit Green Tea has a very refreshing flavor at 50% sweetness. The lychee bits and boba add-on will complement the drink well enough that I might shoot for 25% sweetness next time. Pretty good for $8!

Life is short... Eat more bingsoo ! This is my favorite place for bingsoo in Elk Grove! I will make the drive every time for a sweet treat. There's some seating inside and outside. The drinks I've tried have all been yummy as well. Staff are always kind and attentive. Casual after dinner hangouts or even midday catchups are great for this spot ! I will be returning over and over and bringing all my friends here. Thank you Bru Tea !

    Mango Ice Cloud! Very refreshing!

What a amazing find! This place is around the corner from our neighborhood and I dismissed it as another typical Boba type of tea house. After a bike ride, I decided to have a drink and to my surprise this place had a lot of sweet treats like shave ice! As a huge mango fan, I asked for a mango drink, and the girl recommended the mango ice cloud. It is a blended ice drink with some sort of white cream that's delicious and chunks of mango at the bottom. You specify your level of sweetness, and of course, I went with the highest number five! The next time you think about going out for yogurt or ice cream, I recommend you try this place and you will be pleasantly surprised as I was. I couldn't wait to bring my wife and daughter to this place... And of course my daughter do of it already lol! I've been back twice already and the third trip is just around the corner!

I used to hate matcha until I tried it from here, they make the perfect boba drinks. Definitely recommend

Super cool spot. I came here with a couple of friends and had a great time. I ordered the Hong Kong hot milk tea with the mango bingsoo. To my surprise, the Hong Kong milk tea was really good. Love how they have seating areas for us to sit, chat, and enjoy. We talked for a couple of hours, the music is pretty loud but the atmosphere was really nice. This is such a good hang out spot. I'll definitely come back and bring my nieces for the bingsoo! FYI: you will need to place your order on the kiosk, so you won't see anyone at the counter until your order is ready.

For yearrrrs I've been missing out on this delicious melt in your mouth goodness. Why did no one tell me bingsoo is NOT your typical shaved ice! I never bothered to even give bingsoo a chance, thinking it was bland crunchy shaved ice, same ol' asian desserts that are smothered in condensed milk, creating diabetics worldwide. Boy was I SO wrong! I tried their seasonal bingsoo: Strawberry Matcha Bingsoo First look.. in love! So aesthetically pleasing the way everything was placed in small cute cups on a tray with the bingsoo showcased in the middle as a mountain of glory. First bite... mind blown! The shaved ice was incredibly soft, smooth, and melted in my mouth. The matcha flavor was strong and the extras added a variety of texture of squishy mochi and crunchy cornflakes. I like that they put the condensed milk on the side so you can drizzle to taste. The fruits were fresh and nice pairing with the intensity of matcha flavor. The Ube Sesame was also aesthetic and refreshing. They don't skimp on the flavors. I asked for less sweet and it was perfect. The shop is totally made for social media. Decor was on point and the tables have lazy susans for that required dessert spin on reels. They have a screen on the wall that shows how they make the desserts that will have you drooling. I was already planning my next visit for more.

Good decent bingsu near us with a good amount of different flavors and toppings. Their seasonal bingsu is also nice and taste great and refreshing in the summer! I have had their milk teas and teas in the past, and theyre good as well. My only gripe is that the place is a bit small and cramped, so it does feel sort of warm when there is a good amount of people sitting inside.

    Tiramisu Bingsoo
    Angie H.

I had the tiramisu bingsu and it was so good! The ladyfingers were moist, soft, and very flavorful! The coffee the lady fingers are dipped in was quite strong and I really enjoyed it. I was quite impressed. Bingsu is one of my favorite desserts and Bru Tea Cafe did not disappoint! I will absolutely be back to try the other flavors. I like to pour the condensed milk and toppings in slowly as I eat it so that there are still enough for the shaved ice once you get past the initial toppings and all that is left is white. We also got a drink and I can't remember what it was, but it was very sweet. It may have been Oreo or something chocolatey. Despite my sweet tooth, I don't really enjoy heavily sweet things. If that's your preference though, I would recommend it! If not, maybe ask for half sweet or try a fruit tea or something else. The employees were very kind though and helped accommodate us. I think the only thing is that I wish they came by to clean the tables more often or offered to do it when they notice a new party sitting at a table. When we came, the table was a bit sticky and there were toppings on it so we had to clean it ourselves. Overall, would recommend this spot for bingsu. Can't wait to try more flavors!

Always a HUGE plus. cute, clean and asthetic decor inside - such warm and calm vibes there's a kiosk to order your drinks. From my experience, although I ordered from a kiosk... the workers still took the time to chat with me and my husband as we walked in, while we waited, and after they were finished with our drinks. Staff is friendly here even while they are busy perfecting our drinks drinks aren't too sweet which i love! I've tried their strawberry matcha and its one of the best I've had. Not too sweet and not too bitter! I also tried their jazzy limeade! Its a unique and refreshing tea perfect for the summer. If you get this drink.. be aware it may seem bitter to people because of its unique flavoring profiles. Get it 75% sweetness and once your ice melts a bit .. the drink is super tasty, unique and refreshing!! they also serve sweet taiyako with unique filling flavors! Idk how they do it but it always comes out super crispy. I've tried these at other dessert spots and always get really soggy or soft taiyakis so I was so shocked how crispy and fresh these were. The Dubai Chocolate Chewy Cookie was super indulgent. It had this rich cocoa-marshmallow exterior with a generous filling that made every bite feel decadent without being overwhelming. As for drinks, their new JPC (Jasmine Tea Pistachio Foam Coconut Water, organic) was incredibly smooth and refreshing. The jasmine tea flavor paired beautifully with the creamy pistachio foam, and the pink coconut water kept it light and hydrating. Overall, everything felt thoughtfully made and well-balanced--great flavors, not overly sweet, and really enjoyable. I'd definitely come back to try more.

There wasn't a line per say when we arrived, but everything had to be done from one Kiosk. This was my first time trying YiFang Taiwan and I was craving a refreshing mango pomelo sago drink after eating a savory meal but the mango pomelo sago was unfortunately sold out so I went with the mango sago and added jelly instead. They made my order wrong, but remade it for me and let me keep the first drink so I appreciated that very much. Their customer service is good and they were quick to resolve the issue. However, I did not really enjoy my drink. When they gave me the first drink with only jelly and no sago, my first impression was surprise at the large quantity of jelly topping in the drink. The toppings made up like 35-40% of the drink. I had the thought to ask them to use less toppings when remaking the drink but I assumed that if they were going to remake it and add two toppings, that it would be the same amount but divided into two. I regretted not asking though because in the corrected drink, they gave me so much topping that it made up half of the drink. They also did not drain the sago and it was not mixed in with the mango drink so it was very off putting and tasted strange compared to the first drink. Even when I tried mixing it all together, there was hardly any drink and all that was coming through the straw were the toppings. I gave up on the drink and ended up just drinking the first drink they made me. I think the topping portions is kind of crazy and I have never really experienced that before. I would much rather have more drink than toppings. I wish I knew about this beforehand or I wouldn't have added an extra topping. I would be open to trying this place again but only ordering their original drinks as is and/or requesting less toppings. I don't want to make quick judgements from this one drink because I have heard good things about YiFang drinks and they had great customer service. I am hopping that my next experience will be better!
