I normally go to the Midtown location but stopped by here as my friend was craving matcha. The owners/manager(?) informed us that they'll be remodeling the shop and rebranding/collaborating with Matsu Matcha within the next month or so. It's currently more of a grab and go spot but he told us they'll be adding seating and updating some recipes :) I got the Da Hong Pao milk tea with pecans and whipped cream (similar to a Molly tea dupe). On the kiosk the recommendation was 120% sweetness but I was skeptical and went for 50%. I'd probably retry it with 100% sweetness next time, I still finished the drink LOL but I think sweetness would've brought the tea flavor out more. My friend got the banana pudding creme matcha and enjoyed it as well. This location is a bit out of the way for me but I would give them another try whenever I'm in the area again. read more

I love this specific T% location as it is closest to me but do keep in mind that its more of a grab and go spot! No tables and not really any seating inside or outside of the store. All of their milk teas are pretty solid and at a great price compared to other milk teas places! My go to is their jasmine milk tea sometimes with the lychee jelly so so good. Very cute location & good drinks! On a weekend, there was only group of people in front of my friends and I in line. We ordered at their self-service kiosk. I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I enjoyed looking at the small decorations around the place while waiting, including the small cacti and large mirror to take social media worthy pictures. Our drinks came out in less than 10 minutes, and it was the perfect level of sweetness (I ordered less sweet) and also had good chewy boba! If you do not like strong tea, I would recommend going for the milk or fruit tea options to lighten the bitterness. Store does not have seating inside, so it is meant to be more of grab and go type of location. Some times the service is pretty good, but other times the service can be a little average, which I understand, it is just a grab and go type of boba tea store so does not affect me that much. I've been to T% numerous times throughout the past few years. I always do an 80% sweetness taro jasmine milk tea, with boba and drinkable mochi. Get the drinkable mochi as a topping! Such a fun texture and very subtly sweet. They also pride themselves on their ceremonial matcha, which is definitely something to try out. Depending on which bobarista makes your drink, topping quantities vary which leads to some inconsistencies. The shop is located in the Calvine Corner shopping center, and it's squeezed between Sushi Q and Little Caesars. Ample parking but the actual store is small. There are no chairs or tables; just a bench area for waiting. Music is always on and it is quite noisy with multiple groups inside. Despite getting busy to being packed, I've never really had an issue with waiting time. Interaction with staff is very minimal. I'm normally not given a greeting or farewell when walking in and leaving. You order on the one kiosk they have, and they send a text notification when your order is all set. We had to go up and asked if our drinks were ready. Sure enough, it was those 4 sitting on the counter for 3 mins. It's like they were mad at us for asking for help and holding up the line. Whoever owns this place should really check your staff. That's not how you treat customers. Your Michelin status should be taken away. First and last time ever coming here. The inside was soooo cute, I kept telling my friend how much I loved it because the entire interior was pink, which is my favorite color hehe. Similar menu to the T% midtown, except for the panna cotta (only at EG) and the black sesame smoothie is Midtown-only! One day I'll try the mango matcha or seasonal peach smoothie. Ice and sweetness are super customizable (0%, 30%, 50%, 80%, 100%), and additional toppings or bigger size cup do have upcharges. Their pink-everything interior is cute; no indoor tables, but fast service, and you're either given a numbered buzzer for orders while you wait or text message, a few outdoor 2-seater bistro tables on the sidewalk. We didn't order anything special, but a tiger milk tea and a ube coffee. *Do remember to check in first, you get a free topping! **This is a self serve counter - so order from the screen for newbies (us) It took them about 10 minutes to get us our order! I was wondering what's going on especially when they had so many people working on the orders. There was a Yelp special thing going on as well, so the cashier was having a hard time figuring out how to process it or cross the name on the list. Anyways, we finally got our drinks but nowhere to sit. There are these high school lunch quad park bench and tables that wasn't theirs, but we sat there anyhow. I have going to this boba place since I moved here 1 1/2 years ago. For a while they were out of matcha so I began going to the other T% in Elk Grove (fantastic place that also serves snacks with a place to sit and chill). I recently came back to the T% on Elk Grove Florin since I saw they have a whole new matcha menu. My thoughts - I should not have come back. I usually get matcha with boba and no ice. They no longer offer the no ice option (if you do no ice they just give you less drink-we paying over $7 for a drink we should be able to get it the way we want) and their bobas were over cooked; they were too smushy. Boba is supposed to be bouncy and chewy, not smushy and soft. Service was good. No complaints there. Save yourself time and money and give this a pass. read more

With that little confession out of the way, I must share that ever since I've relocated to the Sacramento region, T% has quickly become one of my (if not THE) favorite tea shops in the area. T% is a fairly new chain to the boba gang; however, they have quickly made a name for themselves and now boast 5 locations in the northern California area. With a motto proclaiming they provide "freshness that you could feel, quality that you can taste", T% really set a goal for themselves - one which I believe they fulfill very well with their hand-crafted drinks. Located in the Calvine Corner Shopping Center, T%'s Elk Grove location offers plenty of parking for patrons who want to stop in and pick up a drink (which if you've read enough of my reviews, you probably know I have a strong dislike for driving and parking wherever I go to done is always a big plus in my book). Upon taking your first step into the shop, you'll be hit with a wave of pink - and I mean it. Their interior is almost all pink complete with some neon signs, (fake?) cacti decor, and a small seating area for you to take a rest while waiting for your drink. Admittedly, their pink decor is not for everyone, but I have to admit it does make for some aesthetic photos. I arrived on a warm Sunday afternoon where I like many others was looking for something to help cool me down as I braved the hot Sacramento sun. Ordering is simple and straightforward - completed on a touchscreen monitor located in the shop. Although there were a number of other patrons before me, I waited at most 10-15 minutes for my drink, which I feel is fairly reasonable. As I mentioned earlier they have a small seating area, which I utilized while waiting for my beverage. My personal go-to at T% is their lychee flamingo topped with lychee jelly. Their lychee flamingo is a blended lychee fruit tea with lime slices added in - the perfect summertime drink especially on a hot day. True to their motto, you can really taste the freshness and quality of their drinks as you can clearly taste the flavor of the tea and the fruit truly shines through. By far my favorite boba place in Elk Grove! I have been here a few times and have tried the Mango Matcha Latte and the Lychee Flamingo. I love matcha lattes and the one from here is definitely one of the better ones I've had. You can really taste the matcha and it tastes like it is of high quality. It was a bit overwhelming searching for the creme brûlée drink because it wasn't coming up when I spelled it out in the search bar and at this point I had a large line forming behind me and the 2 staff members were busy making drinks so I just got the first drink that popped up that looked good, which was the Tiger with brown sugar boba. While the drink was good, it's not what I wanted and this is why I'm not a fan of the self serve ordering situation. But it's also my fault for letting my social anxiety get the best of me when the line got long and I hastily made a decision.
