The location is super convenient, right off the freeway in the Walmart and Tesla Supercharger parking lot, which makes it an easy in and out stop. Clean shop, plenty of seating. They have a great variety of boba, milk teas, smoothies, and shakes, so everyone was able to find something they liked. Drinks were tasty and refreshing! The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the customer service. It was fine, but more order taker than warm or engaging. There also appeared to be only one person taking orders and one person making drinks, so when it gets busy this could mean a slightly longer wait. Overall, a solid spot for a quick boba run. I haven't been to T4 in a while, and this was my first time visiting this location. I noticed they've expanded their food menu, offering a nice variety of small appetizers that pair well with their drinks. I tried calling in my order ahead since I was just an exit away, but they don't take phone orders. You'll have to order online or in person. Luckily, it wasn't busy when I arrived, so I was able to order quickly and didn't have to wait long. The staff member at the counter was friendly and greeted me as I walked in. They also have a self-serve ordering kiosk up front, which is convenient. The restaurant itself was clean and organized. I ordered my usual--Thai Basil Popcorn Chicken--and it was just as good as I remembered: hot, juicy, tender, and full of flavor. It's consistently delicious every time I get it. Drinks here are pretty standard. There is not much strong tea flavor for the drinks i got though. They have a large selection of snacks and drinks. I got the calamari and popcorn chicken. Three stars as I only rated the food. Hands down, this is the spot for snacks. The calamari strikes a perfect balance of fry, flavor, and batter, beautifully crunchy and crispy while still packed with taste. I'm always around the area and this location has to be my favorite place for popcorn chicken and calamari. It's always fried and seasoned perfectly and wonderfully addicting. This location has the mini boba, and often times, other places make them too hard, but everytime i order it, it is perfectly chewy. The service is quick and easy and the employees are very helpful, they do also have other ways of ordering, with a kiosk. Came here on a Wednesday around 4:30pm and got their Wednesday special (chicken katsu & fries & with a regular milk tea ) for $11.99. Wasn't busy but had a consistent regular flow of customers coming coming in as others were leaving. This location looks a lot older and dated than most T4 locations I've been too, but the drink and food menus are the same . Plenty's of seating available if you're trying to hang out. Chicken katsu was delicious, juicy and made to order. Quality was better than I was expecting. Fries were ok, nothing special. Portion was good for the price. Milk tea was standard but still good as it was included with the meal Will definitely come back to try some other food items. I'm sure there drinks are on par with other T4 locations. Can never go wrong with T4. They have delicious snacks all day and their boba drinks are subpar buuutttt it's consistently subpar so I'll always come here for that. They make consistently good roasted oolongs. Yum! Service is typically quick and easy. Sometimes hard to hear them holler out the orders so best if you just check the counters. read more

We had good service with the lady helping up pick out our drinks, she was super sweet. We got reg taro milk tea (5.75), large sweet mango smoothie with rainbow jelly (6.80), large brown sugar milk tea w pearl (6.35), sesame ball (5.25), honey chicken wings (8.15) total was $32.30 for the 3 drinks and 2 food items. The inside looked clean but they did have cleaning products out on top of the trash and that could be hazardous to kids. The sesame balls were delicious, we got so many! But we do need to talk about the wings....i don't know how the wings are made, if they are frozen or freshly cut and battered in house. But I would like to say those were hands down the best wings I've ever had. Hats off to the chef, those alone would make me drive the hour it takes to get to this t4. This is my go to boba spot, I have been coming here since 2017 and they never disappoint. There are a lot of boba spots in Elk Grove now but this location is still my favorite. I always get my favorites, the green tea mango ice cream and oolong milk tea. I came in today and there was a mistake in my order as I ordered a large and they gave me a regular but the workers were more than happy to fix it for me. Great service overall but Kaylee in particular was very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a good creamy milk tea or for their green tea mango ice cream. Stopped by T4 in Elk Grove with a friend who lives locally to the area. We ordered a few drinks to bring back to more friends we were going to see. There were plenty of choices of drinks and, surprisingly, a modest selection of food and snacks that one typically could find at boba spots. The shop was clean, organized, and seemed well-maintained. Service was friendly and speedy. Solid boba spot. T4 in Elk Grove is located in a small shopping center with other eateries. There's plenty of free parking in a large parking lot shared by the businesses in the center. If you don't find a spot initially, be patient as people are consistently coming in and out of the lot. Once inside, you will be able to place your order with the cashier a few feet from the door. There were a few tables for patrons to sit and enjoy their orders, but most people seemed to take their orders to go. Though they were busy at the time we came in, the staff did a good job of filling orders quickly and accurately. We ordered a total of four drinks. I got their Taro Milkshake Smoothie at 30% sweetness. It was still a little sweet for me, but I was pleased with it overall. I added pearls (boba) to the drink and the boba was tasty. Good texture. My only gripe was that the drink was definitely a little overpriced and expensive. Overall, a solid spot to get your boba fix. Didn't check the reviews of this T4 location until after I got my food/drink here, woops. Fortunate enough to not see any mold-like particles in my drink and to have my egg puffs all intact (referencing the most recent reviews). Even then, the food/drink that I got were kinda meh. The winter melon tea was syrupy sweet (I chose the 50% sweetness option on DoorDash but I don't think it was honored.....it wasn't even mentioned on the printed sticker label on the cup). The boba pearls were pretty decent though; good chewiness and had a taste to them. The egg puffs looked shriveled.....a little bit too much egg in them. Not as fluffy as other egg puffs that I've tried. Although the "basil" (basil? Where's the basil??) popcorn chicken was crispy on the outside, it was strangely *too* soft on the inside. I had to do a double check to see that the chicken was actually fully cooked. It was.....maybe it was over-tenderized? Either way, it felt like I was biting into pure meat fat..... This was my first time trying T4 so not sure if all of the T4's are like this. I mean, the food/drink that I got were "okay" (saying this very liberally), but there's such a saturation of boba spots in the area that it's hard to recommend this one based on the things that I tried here. read more

The arrival of many new boba shops (and many new T4 locations across Sacramento) has slowly pushed T4 towards the bottom of my go-to boba shop list. The only reason I come here is if I'm craving their green tea with mango ice cream. I try to get other drinks here but they always miss the mark, unlike the green tea with mango ice cream. It's just always so refreshing. Should've just stuck with that drink on today's visit. (Pro tip: order with no ice. The ice cream keeps the drink cold enough so you don't have to waste space with ice cubes) Today I came in and ordered an avocado shake, only to be told they were out of that today. That's extra disappointing to a pregnant lady who was really excited for an avocado shake. But now that I think about it, they are always out of SOMETHING everytime we come. There is usually a sign listing things they're out of. I guess that's the downside of a really extensive menu. Since I couldn't have my avocado shake I was rushed to figure out what else I wanted to try. I ordered a strawberry tea with 30% sweetness. When I took my first sip, it was so sweet! And I love sweet drinks. I don't think they did 30% sweetness at all. I just had to dilute it myself with water when we got home. Unfortunately T4 has become one of those chain boba shops that have jumped to the back burner. I think their quality went down after all these locations popped up across Sacramento...there seems to be one in every major neighborhood. I live so close, and I'm barely review this now! My family and I came after dinner for a treat. Walking in, they do have a big menu--so at first my out of town family was a little overwhelmed. They recently added a self ordering section that has pictures--which definitely helped them make their decision. I love how it gives you the options to choose your sweetness and ice level even on the kiosk. My family ordered milk teas with boba, I was the adventurous one and decided to order their ginger milk tea. Best decision ever, I think it's one of my favorites at this time. Their cups can be a little soft at times, so be careful when you are trying to poke your straw in. My dad spilled on himself a few times (lol). I had called in to ask if they do togo orders and the young woman over the phone said we don't do togo orders by phone. Which was fine, I said ok, and decided to drive over there instead. When i got there i ordered what i wanted to order and proceeded to pay. As i paid and got change back, the young woman at the counter shorted me by a whole lot. Then, she gave me some more of my change and shorted me again. So i told her again, that she's still short. This time, she had an attitude about it. She proceeded to give me the rest of my change and stormed off and sat down all irritated. Overall the experience here sucks. Service was terrible. They need to train their staff better on how to talk to a customer. On another note, when they handed me my food, i looked at it and seen that the dessert that came with my food was moldy. Who knows what else is bad or wrong with the other items here. Well I didn't get an apology or a replacement or anything. I got passion fruit milkshake and it's more like a smoothie and has no semblance of a milkshake - a bit odd since they also have a smoothie version on the menu as well. Makes me wonder what is the difference. It was already separating when it arrived. Popcorn chicken is pretty good, it was soggy when it arrived but we got delivery so won't dock any points for that. Even with so many competitors around, this T4 location still gets packed. Came here with my sisters as we wanted something to drink. All their tables were taken. Not an issue for us as we were getting our drinks to go. They have new drinks, desserts or food posted around the store. Good advertising because one of my sister got one of their advertised drinks. We ordered the coconut milk tea, chocolate smoothie and mango and strawberry iced with ice cream. Coconut milk tea: you can actually taste the coconut. It's not too much that it overpowered the milk and tea taste. Pretty good. Chocolate smoothie: too thick but not too bad. A little too sweet. Have to adjust the sugar level next time. Mango and strawberry iced: they used real mangoes and strawberries. A little sour but an interesting drink. Just a little too expensive though. Their prices went up a bit. I was looking at those instead of the menu. I got green tea with vanilla ice cream. Normally I get it with black tea but T4 has green tea instead. If you wait for the ice cream to melt a bit, tasted like milk tea. There's parking in the plaza so it was easy to find one, get in and get out. Not sure who was the extremely rude young woman on cash register in 9/04 at 6:20...but she needs be to addressed. At one point she "tossed" me the sauces I asked for. We order 3 regular drinks and 1 large. Received all regular. When we mentioned it since we paid for large, she acted annoyed. Not to mention her inappropriate dress, her bottom was showing because of how short her pants were. Very inappropriate for a place serving families and young people. The drinks were consistent in flavor with what we've had before. Haven't gotten home to taste the food. Quick service, plentiful tea options! We ordered a rose tea with aloe and a black tea with grass jelly without adjustments. The rose tea was very floral! It was a little too sweet, but I did not get milk in my tea, which could have been a contributing reason. The aloe is a bit rubbery and hard to suck up the boba straw, but once bitten into, is very juicy. The black tea was very tea-forward!
