This review has been a long time coming. I've been frequenting this shop for years now and I've since put my whole family and some friends on it as well and everyone loves it! The all-around favorites are the mango pomelo and the Mango Tango (make sure to get it with jasmine tea and they also have a yogurt option if you like some extra tartness)! I think when mangoes are in season they also add fresh mango to the drinks which is a huge plus. I am also a huge milk tea fanatic and personally like my tea very strong without any hint of it being watery. My favorites are the Da Hong Pao and Osmanthus Oolong for extra floral freshness, both at 80% sweetness which is the perfect level imo for even a sweet tooth like me! Their boba is always cooked to the perfect chewiness and my only complaint is that I wish their milk teas had the option of coming in a larger size! The staff is always very cheerful and friendly, something that hasn't changed at all since they opened, which I really appreciate. This location has snacks, desserts, and tables to dine in. Very different than other locations. We got our usual drinks. Mango Passion Fruit Tea and Mango Yogurt. Both very good - just like the other locations. I've ordered these drinks so many time that I have my preferences down! LOL. They have been very consistent with their drinks. Popcorn Chicken is a MUST order. Each pieces are cut to the perfect bite size. The chicken is tender with very savory seasoning and fried to perfection. I don't recommend the lobster balls. It's imitation lobster fish ball (the ones at hot pot) lightly battered and fried. I was too stubborn to listen to my son to skip it. Quick service. Nice space to work and hang out with friends. Finally able to have time to escape and enjoy hanging out at our favorite spot after work again. As usual, the place is popping and a full crowd. The tables were all taken and the staff was very accommodating asking us if we needed help with seating. They are always so observant and considerate. This T% location had a matcha pop up with Matsu Matcha going on when I went, with a couple special matcha drinks on their menu. The Christmas decor that was going on with the teddy bears were pretty cute as well! Very festive vibes from the moment you step in. We got the coconut matcha cloud from their normal menu as well as the ube matcha and banana crème brulee matcha from their pop up menu. Not many places have good coconut matchas in my opinion, which I feel like is based on their coconut water they use, but T%'s was actually really good! It was really refreshing while having that matcha taste still. The ube matcha was also pretty good, but the banana crème brulee matcha was alright at best. Definitely one of my go to places to go and study. The place is super cute and the vibes are very accordant to studying. It's not super bright and the music isn't super loud. They have plenty of seating, and offer both booth seats and regular chairs and table seating. The bathroom is also very nice and clean, making the place even more suitable to sit and study for long hours. They have about the same menu as the other T% locations, except there is food at this location. The Takoyaki and mozzarella cheese sticks were a good study snack. Although a too sweet for my liking, my son absolutely loves boba tea. Therefore, to hear about his first day of middle school, I thought it would be appropriate to treat him to some boba! T% is located in close proximity to our home and my son has been wanting to visit since their recent opening, so I didn't have to do much searching to find an establishment. The kind employee who made her drink offered to add sugar until it met my mom's expectations, in which it eventually did. My drink was very fresh and refreshing, the perfect treat for a very humid summer afternoon! The newest T% is finally in soft opening!! You can get 30% off your order this week until their grand opening on June 27th, then they'll be offering BOGO drinks and snacks all weekend. This is a good location for nearby schools but also just in general it's right in the middle of Elk Grove! T% is known for great quality and delicious drinks. Even though I live closer to the original one, I still wanted to check out this new one! This is the most spacious of all of them, tons of seating inside unlike the other Elk Grove and Midtown ones! It's modern and bright and very nicely decorated. Menu is pretty much the same as the other ones as well. They have drinks listed on the wall but there were way more options on the kiosk, so I guess the wall menu might be more focused on the most popular options. They also had plenty of snack options. I ordered the Osmanthus Tea with Fermented Rice Mochi. I haven't had this drink yet so I was interested in the mochi and wanted to try something new off of the menu. The cup is so cute! Love how they're all labeled with the type of tea already as well. The drink was so refreshing! The mochi itself was smooth and it has small bits of the rice also if you like the texture. The aesthetic in this place is cute with food/boba-inspired puns. Great lighting during the day. EDIT in response to owner's comment: It took over a week, but the refund came through so I've bumped the review up to 4 stars. If when we order the chicken in the future, the chili sauce cup is actually full or even close to full, then I can consider bumping up to five. That being said, we always order pickup and when my gf sends me, I barely know what I got, let alone the details of what she got. Unless the order is horribly wrong, I'm not wasting my time by driving back to get the order corrected. Original review: Food and boba is good, but they're getting 3 stars for certain issues. We often get the chicken because it tastes good and the portion size is good for the price. However, it comes with sweet chili sauce and more often than not, there's barely any sauce (picture attached). We ended up buying a bottle from Safeway so we could have some at home for when we inevitably get a drizzle of sauce with the order. The other issue is honestly a new one, but it's what prompted this review. We ordered two crème brulee bobas with different sweetness levels. Refreshing, fruity, and not too tea forward. One thing was I'm not sure if the little chunks at the bottom were mango, but they were hard and starchy, and didn't taste like ripe mango. The thing I was disappointed about was they only had one self-pay kiosk, and being the soft opening, the line moved extremely slowly.
