The smash avocado was delicious but next time I'm going to ask them to put my added durian on top instead of mixed in with everything lol it was delicious regardless. I ordered #2 without boba, with shaved ice on the side, as well as #4 for my husband. #2 comes with red beans and white beans that are cooked until they are soft, a large scoop of tảo paste, rainbow jelly, and mung bean. It tastes best with lots of ice! I had a couple of bites of the #4, which comes with grass jelly, pandan jelly, the red jelly/seeds, and mung bean. The egg coffee has an egg foam layer that is quite thick and doesn't have a fake egg taste unlike some other places. The coffee is also really strong. Despite all the ice melting, it was still strong the next day, such that I will have this for at least a second day! There are so many dessert options, and I remember the pandan waffle being pretty good. Service was very friendly. Came here as the Bambu on Stockton blvd was already closed. Saw that they have a special that the other place didn't have: mango halo halo. I decided to get their mango halo halo for $10 and their pandan waffle. I wouldn't really call this halo halo, it's just Vietnamese chè with mango ice cream. The waffle was just okay. I stopped in around 3ish on a Saturday. They now want you to pay at the kiosk if you're paying via credit card & there is a service charge. You can pay cash at the register but I didn't have any cash on me. I placed my order and watched 3 customers that placed their order well after me quickly receive their orders while I continued to wait for my 2 drinks. Finally, after the 3rd customer who ordered after I did, i finally asked about my order. They were still working on it. This was my first time coming to this location on EG. I always go to the one on 65th. Ordered my usual dessert #10. I asked to substitute the coconut milk with coconut water because the coconut milk is too sweet for me. They wanted $1.00 extra for that! The south sac one doesn't do that based on the last time I went. The desserts are decent. My main issue is they aren't cold enough.
