I thought I had reviewed Sit Lo Saigon when they first opened, but apparently I was mistaken. I appreciate how late they stay open. They've been pretty busy when I've been coming late in the evenings, with a max of just a table or two empty at around 10PM. It's not a huge place, but I didn't feel overly close to the tables next to me. You order at the counter then they tell you a table number. Self-serve water and tea. I recently ordered the #5 Pho Tai, Gau and the #14 Pho Hanoi. There's only one size here. It was more than enough for me. Some of the meat was tough/overcooked in the #5, but overall enjoyed the pho. The #14 was good as well and the meat was flavorful. I'd order both again. Since there aren't any other pho places open late in EG, Sit Lo Saigon has been my go-to.
I ordered the #5 brisket and ribeye with thin noodles and it was delicious! The meat was tasty, although the brisket could have been cooked longer it was still edible. The broth was very flavorful and did not taste overly salty or oily. The veggies provided included pickled onions, lots of beansprouts, basil, jalapenos, limes, and ngò gai. The pickled onions complimented the pho well and were not overly strong with a mild flavor. Ordering is at the counter, tables are assigned, and the food is brought to the table. There is complimentary self-serve hot tea, iced tea, and water. This restaurant is open until 12am and every time I've visited on weekdays past 9pm it is busy. Service was good as the employee taking the order was friendly.
So I had a Yelp event out in Elk Grove and afterwards we were looking for a quick bite-so we ventured over to the shopping center across the street and the options were plentiful. We decided on pho at Sit Lo Saigon after reading the reviews on Yelp from a few Yelp friends that I respect. Parking at this restaurant is plentiful as it shares a lot with many other businesses in a busy shopping plaza. This is the kind of place that you walk up to the counter and place your order then they assign you a seat.Its a very casual ,comfortable restaurant. There were two of us eating so we decided to go with the #3($15.95)which is with just brisket & the #4($15.95) which is brisket and meatballs. After a few minutes of sitting down,they brought our bowls out-I'd say less than 6-7 minutes. My first response was "WOW!!" The sheer size of that bowl is what struck me-it was huge. Then again for $15.95,I think it makes sense. I'm a weirdo when it comes to pho,as I eat mine in a particular way.I drink all the broth before eating any of the noodles or meats or side additions. So after doctoring this bowl up with the sides,onions,bean sprouts,jalapeños,lime,Thai basil and chili oil-I went to town on that broth. I thoroughly enjoyed that broth,It had a rich flavor that truly only comes from a long simmering process-It was very good. After enjoying all that broth,I went after the brisket and noodles, Slurp City for sure!! The noodles were wonderful and the brisket was nicely flavored and textured. I really enjoyed my #3 from Sit Lo Saigon. That being said,after dissecting their menu a bit,I feel like I missed out on some quality items. The Oxtail or the Bone Marrow versions of their pho sounds like they would be a whole different level-so I plan on coming back when I'm out here and plan on giving one or both of those pho bowls a try-they sound amazing and if the broth in those versions are anything like the #3,it will for sure be a memorable meal. In closing,If you find yourself out in Elk Grove and find yourself craving some amazing pho,I'd recommend fully stopping by Sit Lo Saigon and giving their tasty dishes a try.
There are so many pho spots in town but Sit Lo definitely stands out. Their broth is so rich and flavorful. You can taste the fresh ingredients. I like that you can choose between thin and thick noodles. The short ribs take the dish to the next level. The portions are great and they don't skimp out on the amount of meat they give you. I was amazed at how quickly my food was delivered. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Date night for some Pho, this place is really neat and kind of reminds you of being there. They have a cart at the counter that looks like a street food vendor and the decor was really cool. Kind of fast pace ordering and serving. We got the Oxtail Pho and garlic with ribeye, so much flavor in the garlic pho! The oxtail was nice but could have been braised a bit more. Not super fall off the bone needed a little effort to peel off but still great flavors rolling through.

My favorite is the Hanoi pho--it comes with a Chinese fried doughnut on the side. I like that it's loaded with green onions, and the beef is already cooked and comes in generous portions. The broth has great flavor, and I always go for the thin noodles. Occasionally, if they're pre-cooked, the noodles can be a bit too soft and stick together. Service is quick, and there's never a long wait for my order.
Looking for a good bowl of pho up in Sac and we got some from this spot. Friendly cashier, clean restaurant, and a good size serving. I got the #1 Pho Tai- Rib eye pho- broth had lots of flavor and a good amount of beef... negative was the beef was on the tough and chewy side. Based on the chewiness, I'm not sure I'd get it again. I really wanted this to be great but it just wasn't. I'd actually rate this a 3.5 but there isn't an option for that.
Since moving to Elk Grove, we have looked at a few places to find our "go-to" pho spot and this place is among the top on our list. I ordered the special pho and bone marrow with broth. I was extremely happy with the portion size of it! Most of the time when I order pho at other places, I finish too quickly. But here, I always leave with a full tummy with left overs to take home as well. The pho broth has a rich, deep flavor and the ingredients taste fresh. And the bone marrow is MASSIVE with a good amount of marrow in it as well as extra meat on the outside. I also love how they have tea as one of the complimentary drink options. My only complaint is that the pho spoons look like they have been used and abused. They are kind of unsightly. Other than that, I will be a returning customer!
Sit lo Saigon is a casual Vietnamese Pho restaurant located in the Target shopping center on Laguna Blvd and Bruceville Rd where orders are placed at the front counter. Menu consists mainly of pho, appetizers, and beverages. We ordered a couple of bowls of pho, one of which was made with fresh noodles... it was quite better than the other bowl made with dried noodles. We thought the broth was good-tasting but average. The premium pho bowl had ox tail, short rib, and tendon - quite decadent and worth the premium price. We also tried their iced lemon tea and found them refreshing and delicious. Service was minimal. Tables were clean and we sat ourselves. Ambiance is clean and warm.
I will start by saying im not super picky with my pho. Still, I can say that I love Sit Lo!!!! I also love a lot of hoisin sauce with my pho but with Sit Lo I put a lot less sometimes even none and the broth is good. I also love the self serve water and tea that they have, super refreshing at the end. They also dont skimp on the greens. Any time I ask for more limes or onions, they do not hesitate to give more;) Plenty of parking and stores around this location as well!!
I had an excellent experience here! Even though the restaurant was packed, the service was incredibly fast and efficient. The staff worked together like a World Cup championship team--everyone knew their role, communicated well, and kept everything running smoothly despite the crowd. The pho was outstanding. The broth was rich, flavorful, and tasted like it had been simmering for hours. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the meat was tender, and every bite was comforting and delicious. You can definitely tell why this place stays so busy. The atmosphere was lively, and despite the long line of customers, our food came out surprisingly quickly. It's impressive to see a team handle such a busy rush while still providing great service. The only downside is that they require you to pay before you eat, which isn't my favorite system. It wasn't a huge issue, but I personally prefer paying after the meal. Other than that, everything else was excellent. If you're looking for authentic, delicious pho with quick service, this place is absolutely worth visiting. I'll definitely be coming back!
Absolutely, the best pho I've had in NorCal. Sit lo is not your ordinary pho shop. I've never had to order at the register, pay first and then be seated. But hey, it's their system and it works. I ordered the #13 Saigon Special for $17 bucks and it came with meatballs, ribeye, tendon, flank and tripe. It was a fat bowl. it had lots of meat and the broth was very good! What made it the best pho I've had in Sac/NorCal? The broth was bomb. It had all the essence of pho broth and spices. I loved how tender their meat was. They give free scallion oil and pickled onions which elevated the pho. They have these huge dinosaur bone with bone marrow 10/10. Their chili oil was dark and spicy. Sit lo's pho definitely hit the spot. Will def come back again.
Came in with a big group but they were very accommodating and got out our orders out pretty quickly.. The soup base was very flavorful I got the number 1 . After a while a bigger group came in for a graduation and we decided to leave since we were done and so they could have somewhere to sit , the staff did not rush us and made sure we were good . I would recommend
Sit Lo Saigon is a Pho only quick eats Pho style restaurant. The menu is very limited with Pho only items. They do offer more premium meat choices for the pho like: ribeye, bone in beef rib, ox tail etc. Their broth to me just tasted average to all the other competitors. They do have a couple different noodle options like: standard pho rice noodles, or the fresh style noodles. The service could be a little better. More room for improvement. Overall the restaurant is clean and inviting. Pricing is similarly to pho restaurants in San Jose. read more
My brother recently introduced me to Sit lo Saigon in Elk Grove. Most Vietnamese restaurants feature pages and pages of offerings, but not Sit lo. They serve 17 varieties of pho. Their uncomplicated menu lets them focus on making the best pho I've ever had. While their menu is simple, their soups are not. You first taste the richness of the broth that has been simmering for hours. The beef bones, meat, garlic and ginger work together to produce a soup base that will compliment the accompanying ingredients. I opt for their signature pho, the Pho Hanoi, which comes with wok fried ribeye and garlic. You can choose either thin noodle or fresh noodles. We always go with the fresh noodles. Their servings are huge and easily sharable. The soup comes with garnishes such as basil, cilantro, mint, bean sprouts, onions, jalapenos and lime. Some folks like to add hoisin or siracha. I'm a simple gal and only add a few bean sprouts. If the broth is good, it doesn't need anything else. Service is straightforward. You order at the counter, sit down and your order arrives in under 5 minutes. The staff is accustomed to fast pace. There's a self serve water and tea station so you don't have to wait to get refills. While it may seem like there's few interactions with staff, the set up is streamlined for efficiency. This has become a go to spot for us. It's close by and we don't have to deal with the traffic of South Sac especially on the weekends. read more

My son has been raving about this place for months so I decided to finally check it out. This is a place where you walk right up to the register and place your order. The gals behind the register were super friendly and helpful for a first timer. I opted for the #1 pho bowl with ribeye and my husband decided to try the #4 pho bowl with brisket and meatballs and the fresh thicker noodles. The place was plenty busy but there were a few empty tables. Nice and clean inside. One of the workers already had a table ready for us with all the extras already at the table. The extras consist of bean sprouts, Thai basil, cilantro, limes and sliced jalapeños for those who like it spicy. I think our pho was brought out in about 5 minutes, crazy fast! We experimented with the sauces at the table - hoisin was my favorite addition. As for the dish....WOW. The broth was so rich and tasteful and truly tastes like it was cooked for 72 hours as advertised. The meat (ribeye) was tender and so flavorful. The noodles and veggies were very fresh. The amount of soup was insane. You truly get your moneys worth here as we had plenty of leftovers for another meal! I highly recommend and would return! read more
Come here for something quick, fast, and easy. Order at the counter and they will direct you which table to sit at. Water and free tea(hot or cold) is self serve, which is nice you don't have to wait for anyone to refill. My go to is the Saigon pho and I always love the pickled onions they provide. Broth is good but not the best I've had. Plenty of tables but more difficult in a bigger group. read more

We came here with a party of 7 around brunchtime the day after Thanksgiving and had an above average experience. The food was fabulous, although the place did feel a bit impersonal. The ordering system is akin to Subway - upon entering, choose and pay for your bowl of pho, and then find your seat in the restaurant. I always find it a bit weird to have to decide on a tip before even getting to sample the goods, but oh well... The servers were super fast to bring out our food though, and the Saigon Pho did not disappoint! I did have to raise an eyebrow at the bill, nearly $60 for 3 bowls of pho...gone are the golden days of a good bowl of noodles under $10 bucks! read more
I was curious to try Hanoi style pho and saw they specialize here so decided to try it. My friends love this place and I can see why. Interior is nicely decorated and modern looking. You first order at the cashier and then they tell you the table to sit at. We ordered the Oxtail pho ($19.50) and the Hanoi Pho ($18.95). Service was super fast. They came out instantly with the food. They had onions, bean spouts and vegetables on the side. The biggest difference between regular southern Vietnamese pho and Hanoi (Northern Vietnamese pho) is the broth. Hanoi style has a more clear and clean broth with different cut of meat. It also has flat noodles. The Chinese donut on the side was also a nice touch. The oxtail was very delicious as well. Very rich in flavor and tasty oxtail bones. I like how big the bowls were. I got so full. They also offer hot tea, cold ice water and regular water station. This place definitely specializes in pho ONLY and I can taste the high quality in the soups. read more

Prime location that offers late evening access to great tasting Pho!!! Simple menu = fast service. Like, you order - self serve to water or tea - next thing you know your bowl of soup is on your table. We ordered their most popular item on the menu #13 & #14 and they were equally impressive with the size, the amount and the taste!!! Place offers both indoor and outdoor seating, cool vibe, mid on the "friendly staff" - just felt they were just on the go, go, go. Not a "enjoy your meal" or any kind of follow up but I guess kinda expected with the fact that you have to get in line to order and pay before you can take a seat. Is this why I only gave it a 3 star vs a 5 star? NOPE. The 3 star is because everyone does everything - from register to delivering your food / drinks to cleaning the table and they were THE SAME gloves from one task to another. Found that so unsanitary and only noticed this after we devoured our bowls of soup. Gloves serves protection for the one wearing aka the staff but not the customers. You shouldn't touch my "fresh bowl" of soup after cleaning a dirty table including using a dirty rag to wipe the table to serving me my food. The gloves gives the staff a false sense of "clean" because they cant feel, maybe not even notice or see that their soiled. Not ok and I hope the owner sees this review and make the proper adjustments. Soup is great folks - like REALLY REALLY good. Sit Lo Saigon is conveniently located inside a plaza with restaurants and stores-- plenty of parking. But the pho is what you would typically expect. There's a small selection of pho and drinks available. There's no rice plates -- only pho. You pay at the counter and they assign you a table for seating. Your meal is brought out to you, the staff is friendly. The food, however, is what you would expect. The broth is watered down, no flavor. Generous portion of serving size with a good mixture of the noodles and meat. It's edible -- it is decent but nothing memorable. I would most likely not go back because I have had Pho that is more flavorful and delicious elsewhere. read more
Big fan that this restaurant is open for those late night pho cravings. They were having a deal for I believe 20% off if you came at a certain time and we were a couple minutes early and didn't catch the deal. I believe it was due to a POS particularity but no biggie. The restaurant is casual and after ordering you get a number and seat yourself. There's water available and spoons/chopsticks/etc. are available at your table. We got the #1 and #7 with thin noodles and my partner got a Thai Tea. The pho was flavorful and delicious, served very hot and a large portion with many noodles. I do believe they're all one size and it's a good quantity for the pay. A nice touch that I loved and haven't experienced eating at other pho restaurants is the serving of raw onion along with the veggies. It's good pho, especially when you can't get it any other place after 9pm. read more
Food - My first time trying wok fried ribeye and garlic pho with fat noodles and it was delicious! - I also ordered a hazelnut coffee, it kept me awake late last night. - All the sauce options in each table with chopsticks, spoons, and napkins. Service - Very friendly, attentive, and fast service. Ambiance - Loved the decorations. - I did see a cockroach on the floor in my corner table. I'll be back to try the other dishes! read more

Cold weather in my opinion always calls for a good bowl of Pho. And so that is what I enjoyed when I visited this location. When you walk in, you view the menu at the counter above head. Pick what you would like, pay and then are assigned a table and your offer is brought to you. There is a complimentary water/tea bar. Your assigned table will already have the side fixings that would normally go into your soup. As I started eating my meal, the foot traffic started to pick up with more people arriving. My meal plus a Thai tea ran me around the $20 mark. My table area on the floor could have been cleaned at bit better as there was still evidence of food on the ground. Small dining area but was able to enjoy what I went in there for. read more
Open late, great atmosphere, and delicious pho! Although the menu is small, it has some great items. I ordrred the beef rib pho and the portion was huge. Pho was great and really fresh. I also ordered the iced honey lemon tea and it was so refreshing (this is seperate from the complimentary tea they also have). They give a side of basil, onions and bean sprouts. I love that they boil the bean sprouts before serving. I also got to try the doughnut, which was delicious! There is plenty of seating, inside and outside. Also plenty of parking in a nice plaza. read more

F.O.O.D. Review F - First Impression From the moment we walked in, the space felt open, vibrant, and welcoming. It's very spacious and full of color, with a beautiful barrier of plants that naturally guides you to where you begin the ordering process. You order and pay at the front, and once you're done, they direct you to your assigned seating. I really appreciated how organized everything was. Before we even sat down, all of the pho add-ons--sprouts, onions, mint, and lemons--were already waiting for us at the table, along with the drinks we had ordered. Within just a few minutes, our food arrived. The service was impressively fast, and everything came out steaming hot with a beautiful presentation. This is definitely not your average pho spot. O - Overall Taste & Quality We started with the beef short rib appetizer, and I honestly had to double-check that it was the appetizer because it far exceeded my expectations. The portion was generous and perfect for sharing. For the pho, the bowl was filled with fresh, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles that were tender and not at all chewy, and an abundance of quality meats--not scraps. They definitely do not skimp on portions here. Even after sharing, there was still plenty left to take home. I left feeling completely satisfied and even happier knowing I truly got my money's worth. D - Delivery/Dining Experience This place absolutely exceeded my expectations and has quickly become one of my favorite pho restaurants. The atmosphere was clean, vibrant, and very pleasant. My viet coffee was already at my table before I finished ordering. The service is FAST. We went during lunch time on a Saturday the place was packed but cleared when we left too. They open late and its prime location. My family like the fresh noodles but im a vermicelli girly since I like the broth to cling to my noodles. I enjoyed it as I get to dress up my bowl. I like how they give you a plate of raw sliced onions and oil. I ordered their signature saigon pho. Next time I will order their premium. Its literally a fast food pho spot. Overall, the pho was good. I went during their 50% off promotion (lasting through 9/30/25, valid only from 10pm to 12am, dine in only) which made the pho worth it. However, if I was paying full price, I would not come back often as it is on the more expensive side compared to other places. But this is my favorite pho spot in Sacramento because they serve fresh noodles and I love the thickness of it. Food: (3.5/5) Hanoi Pho ($16.95 + $1.50 for Fresh Noodles) - The pho was good. The broth had a strong beef and pho flavor, and it was also very clear. There was a huge portion of noodles which was great given its high price point. The Hanoi Pho also comes with donut sticks which is an added bonus that other bowls do not have. However, the beef was on the tougher side and the broth had a strong garlicky flavor which took away from the traditional broth flavor. I would recommend the Saigon Pho for anyone who prefers a more traditional pho flavor profile. Service & Ambiance: (3/5) The service was decent. They have you order and pay for your food first thing when you walk into the restaurant rather than the traditional pay after you finish your meal. From there you will have to get your own water (towards the back right) and seat yourself wherever there is an available table. The only service they really provide is when they bring you your food, after that, they don't go around checking in on tables. The Hanoi pho comes with a side of Chinese donuts, I haven't ate pho without them since trying it this way lol. Pho broth is solid and although it is on the pricier side for a "quick pho spot", I'd argue their portions (esp meat) are worth the price. One word. WOW. When we first walked in, we were greeted by staff and noticed the surplus of customers in the restaurant on a random Monday night at 9:30-10pm. A line soon followed behind us as we ordered. The person at reg was extremely kind and informative! We finally ordered and went to the water station. They also served iced/hot tea which was an excellent treat before we started our meal. We sat down at our table, and our food came out not even 5 mins later. I got the pho hanoi? Their special #14. My partner got the #5. We were blown away by the quickness and the flavor of the food. Also... the portion is HUGE. We also got complimentary sprouts/onions/(basil or mint?)/lime + condiments at the table and this donut bread, all products incredibly fresh. We ended up ordering a Thai tea as well, SO GOOD. The inside was super cute, colorful, cheery vibe, and very cleanly. All in all, this place will be our new spot to get a late night grub. Again the portions are huge.. so come hungry. read more
Finally got to try this place out after hearing about it for so long! I didn't know they had an Elk Grove location because I was more familiar with their Davis location. My friend and I came here to eat dinner after shopping around the plaza that this place was located in. Since it was in a busy shopping plaza, there was plenty of parking. Walking in, I loved how they decorated the interior of the place. The ceiling was my favorite touch of decorations they did. Looking at the menu, they mainly had pho with also some appetizers and other dishes, but from what I've heard, they are known for their pho bowls. With that being said, I ended up ordering the #3 Pho bowl which has brisket in it and I also got a Thai tea. I didn't realize it until they brought my bowl of pho to the table but the menu didn't have options of pho bowl sizes to choose from because when my pho bowl got brought to my table, the bowl was huuuuge! Which I didn't mind because I was starving and I was actually able to finish all my pho. I can't express how good their pho broth was. I liked how the broth didn't taste too salty and it was overpowering. I also appreciated the generous portion and balance of the amount of noodles to protein that the bowl had in it. Also, as my friend and I were getting to leave, I saw a server holding 2 bowls of pho that had a big bone marrow in it! I will definitely need to come back hopefully soon because I am already craving to eat another bowl of pho from them and have my husband and parents also see how good their pho bowls are! I made a last-minute detour to Elk Grove's Sit Lo Saigon Vietnamese Noodle House, and I'm so glad I did. I was actually headed to Journey to the Dumpling, but suddenly got a craving for comforting, made-from-scratch food--and pho was calling my name. To my surprise and delight, they had my all-time favorite: short rib pho, which is nearly impossible to find in the Sacramento area! Usually, I have to drive all the way to San Francisco or wait for A New York trip to get for pho with short rib, but not anymore--Sit Lo Saigon pho had delivers, and it's right in Elk Grove!rich and flavorful broth perfectly topped with green onions a side od white onions and the usual fresh fixings--mung bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime, and Thai basil. They served the short rib bone-in, just like the spots in SF. I was only a few bites in when I decided I'm coming back next week--and bringing a friend who appreciates a good bowl of pho as much as I do. It's a casual, walk-up counter spot with lightning-fast service and friendly staff. Definitely will regularly visit when in the Elk Grove area or up for a little drive for a bowl of goodness! read more

I absolutely love Sit Lo Saigon! Their Hanoi style pho is my go to the broth is so flavorful and comforting, and I really appreciate all the extra garnishes like fresh green onions and the soft, fresh noodles. It truly feels like an ode to the pho I had when I visited Hanoi. Every bowl brings back memories. read more

We have a side order of Noodles w/ beef broth, it doesn't have any onions on top. It's great for a simple 'snack' or a kids portion.

No. We do not have any vegetarian options. All broth is either Beef or Chicken.
Why are they not opened 7/16/21? Disappointed bc I am here to try Pho
