Salted Fried Rice with Chicken & Salt Fish 鹹魚雞粒炒飯 Peking Spareribs 京都骨

My family and I's go to spot for chinese food since they opened. A chinese family dinner can be quite pricey and at N'Joy the price is right! My family came with a party of 7, and our bill was under $140 which means it was less than $20/person. Not to mention we also had leftovers! The service can be slow as it seems they are understaffed, but nonetheless the waitresses are nice and try their best to tend to all costumers.

N'Joy Cafe is a top choice for authentic Chinese cuisine. Their sweet and sour pork stands out for its freshness and crunchy texture with a beautiful glaze. The beef and broccoli are prepared with good quality ingredients. The minced beef soup with egg whites & cilantro is one of my favorite on the menu. The cafe is clean and the staff provides excellent service.

Went there on Sunday and since I could not order on the clover app I just ordered inside the store. I usually order from the Clover app because it is easier to time the order from our Costco trip (Costco shopping usually takes 1 hr so I usually place the order as we enter Costco). As I got to the store I noticed a lot of new items! I saw the wife cake looking pastry flyer and I could not wait to try it next Saturday. I was going to order some baked bread but they are sold out. Hopefully they might have some on Saturday. Want to try to baked BBQ pork! Regardless we enjoyed our usual: aka Beef chow fun and food kin fried rice, plus the water spinach with garlic. My husband kept praising the wok hei on the veggie dish (and he usually hate veggie btw). We got the crispy roast pork and duck too and love it of course. And the Toi San rice dumpings with peanuts! Husband said he wanted to try the clam on Saturday too. Can't wait to eat there Saturday again! Love to have some authentic Chinese food! We still have not try to eat in person in the shop yet. It is nicely decorated, but nothing beats pigging on take out food with loose pants at home. My in-laws go and eat there a lot in person though. I guess they have more restraints than us :). To us, nothing beat eating good food in loose pants and then take a nap :)

Food was good and well prepared... On top of that, location is super convenient for biking or walking and surely lots of parking, being it is in the Costco plaza. +cleanliness +food...Two thumbs up for this Chinese food joint

Fast customer service. A little hard to understand the cashier at times. I ordered the milk taro with boba- 9/10 Matcha milk tea with lychee popping boba 10/10 Orange chicken- bland AF 3/10 Chicken chow mein - 8/10 Broccoli beef- slimy and no one ate at home. 0/10 Wonton soup- broth 5/10 wontons 9/10 Spicy green bean and shrimp 10/10 Pork fried rice- 10/10 Portions are like most Chinese restaurants. It has plenty of seating and parking all around. Food just lacking taste. Price point is average. Much better options nearby. :/

Pan fried noodle with beef & black pepper sauce

A decent Chinese restaurant in Elk Grove area. Pan fried noodle with beef and black pepper sauce: the noodle was not crispy/crunchy at all. Super salty as well. If it wasn't salty, this would have been a good dish. The flavor was good. String bean with chicken: a tad bit salty but a solid dish. Braised beef brisket pan fried noodle: again, noodles were not crispy/crunchy. Brisket and veggie were super tender which I love. Flavor was on point. Service was attentive, friendly and quick,

The food here was pretty good! They have a large variety of dishes on the menu as well as drinks. It was pretty quiet when we went around 8pm but the owner was super sweet and came to ask us how the food was. The bathrooms were clean and there was lots of parking.

We've been here twice, and it's close to our house. We love their food. We ordered custard buns, chow fun with scrambled egg shrimp, and a BBQ combo set. Also, I requested less salt and less oil. They listened to me, which I appreciated. The BBQ platter really surprised us. The duck meat was easy to chew, and the BBQ pork was flavorful. My boy enjoyed his food. The staff here was nice. The restaurant is clean. The parking situation here isn't bad.

Love the cod with black bean sauce & chow fun! Nice restaurant with good customer service. Big , clean & comfy.

Rice Noodle Roll with Shrimp 鮮蝦腸粉

Food is average. 4 small pieces of shrimp with a substantial size of rolls (cheung fun), quite unbalanced. And the taste is slightly bland. Roasted duck and char siew are ok. Pretty clean place though and service was pretty good.

Everything was good... the server sat us right away and the place looked amazing. The atmosphere and location has plenty of seating and easy access to condiments if needed. They have free wifi, which is amazing as this spot is located at the Costco (deadzone) area for cell reception. They offer wide range of dishes such as verity of dimsum, different dishes of Chinese cuisine and boba/snacks. The Mongolian beef is very light in flavor which is fine, but definitely will ask to make it a bit spicier. The BBQ dish was good add on. The tofu and fish claypot was the best dish I ordered. It was packed with stuff and had good flavor. The salted fish and chicken actually tasted like it had salted fish, it helped counter palace the sweet from the bbq dish and the heaviness of the other dish. I also ordered their famous Noodle Roll both shrimp and pork style, the shrimp needed more shrimp or at least bigger one for the thickness of the noodle and price. Overall both of them has the waxy and silky texture you want. Bonus: Their hot sauce or chili sauce has a nice flavor of both spice and sour.

Stopped here after going to Costco. Standard Chinese fair, ordered a variety of dishes (braised beef stew chow fun, broccoli beef, shrimp rice roll, bbq pork fried rice, half duck/chicken bbq). A few highlights: -The broccoli in the broccoli beef was cooked well and lightly crunchy. -ample proportion of ginger scallion sauce to the steamed chicken -juicy and meaty roast duck -the restaurant itself is small, but very clean. -friendly service and food was served very quickly Overall, the dishes all tasted like they were JUST seasoned enough/borderline bland. Just a little more oyster sauce/soy sauce would make a big difference. No bold flavors here. I especially Wished the braised beef had a bolder taste the complement the chow fun. I probably wouldn't drive out of the way to come here, but if I needed a Chinese fix after shopping around here I'd consider coming back. It's a solid B.

Located in the same giant plaza as Costco, Amazon Fresh, and Nordstrom Rack, next to Crumbl Cookies. The parking can be a little tight here in this "cul de sac" like parking lot. Food is a solid 3 stars, it's a hit or miss depending on what you order. A nice place to get your Canton/HK style food fix. They serve the usual Chinese food you would find at any Chinese restaurant but also serves their own BBQ/Roast meats! Their menu also expands to items you don't normally see at a more Americanized Chinese restaurant such as congee, rice rolls, clay pots, etc. In addition, they have a menu of Boba drinks. I like to order their rice rolls and the HK style soy sauce chow mein. Their over rice dishes are a hit or miss. I would skip the congee (the one I tried was the preserved egg with pork which lacked flavor). The wonton noodles are also mediocre (which is a shame as I love wontons!). I come here once in a while to get my Cantonese food fix if I'm in the area. Otherwise, I would not make a drive just to eat this.

I know when we're hungry we would've ordered more but we didn't this time around. The waitress was really nice, always came to check on us and fill our drinks. The inside was cozy. Really enjoyed the wicker chandeliers and the overall aesthetics of the restaurant. I feel like this establishment is overpriced but again, with the items I ordered they're portioned generously. I will be coming back to try the other menu items that veer off the norm as I think it would be more reasonable price wise. I would say check this establishment out for yourself and try out their items overall to see for yourself.

The bad - the salt and pepper fish had a great batter, but I feel they're battered too much, and the actual fish piece inside is tiny. My house chow mein didn't have a single shrimp in it. Lots of beef, which was good, but the char smell from the beef was the only thing you could taste on the noodles. It's almost like the chef cooked the noodles on whatever the beef was cooked on. The noodles we had ordered from here a month ago had very good flavor, but not a one note beef flavor. There was a lot of beef and chicken in the house chow mein, but zero shrimp means the cook either forgot or they didn't have them and thought it would be ok to add more beef.
