Terrible Customer service. I was there on Thursday Jan 22 2026. No one else was there and there were two people at the counter not on the phone and they made me wait for 12 minutes. I finally just left and canceled my prescription. There are many compounding pharmacies out there that have far better customer service. Would not recommend them. read more

I paid $183.18 for a ZRT Laboratory Saliva Hormone Testing Kit from Innovative Compounding Pharmacy in Folsom, California, I opened it up. There were absolutely NO instructions inside anywhere as to how to use it. So I called he pharmacy to get help and instructions and was referred to a pharmacist who was absolutely of no help at all. I told him exactly what was in the package including the fact that there were no instructions and I asked him if he could tell me how to use it. He kept saying "look in the package for the instructions". I told him again that I looked through the kit repeatedly and told him what was in the package and he said "is there a blue-green sheet of paper with instructions?" I repeated to him yet again - exactly what WAS in the package and what was NOT in the kit/package- NO instructions on how to use the kit. He kept interrupting me and asking me the same question over and over again. He was rude, unprofessional and of absolutely no help at all. I finally told him he was not helpful at all; I was frustrated and hung up. To top it off, this kit cannot be returned for a refund. So I'm stuck with a useless kit that I paid over $183 for; and this pharmacy and pharmacist who id of absolutely no help whatsoever! read more

If I could give zero I would have ! Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Between the two young ladies that greet you to the lady in the back that takes in the faxes cannot get their act together my doctor faxed over three times my prescription and each time they told me they would call me three weeks later I walk in and they still don't have that when I have proof that my doctor called them to make sure they got it and I have no words I will never go back. The hours are tough here if you work 8-5. The staff is not overly friendly. It feels a bit like they are doing you the favor of filling your prescriptions. Takes at least 3 days minimum to fill so if you need it fast this is not the place to go. Not overly impressed and they act a bit like they are the only game in town for alternatives. There's no option to give zero stars. FYI....I had my prescriptions called in to them and they were going to charge $120 for the same meds that I've used before. When I lived in Orange County it was $85. Here in Folsom they want to charge $120. So I called my dermatologist's office again and they called it in to a Compounding pharmacy in Placerville (20 min) up the road for $54 to fill my exact same prescription. I needed a special prescription for my cat. She needed a special anabiotic in a liquid with flavor. They were very polite very friendly and very quick with her prescription. Was told medication would be ready in one hour. Medication was ready 2 hours after promised time. 50 minutes before closing. Was half an hour away and couldn't leave right away. So now have to wait till the late opening time of 10 am to pick it up. Upon arriving was charged 60 when quoted 40 originally. Please take your business elsewhere. Had a horrible experience, employees were rude. Would not let us know that a prescription would not be complete until the afternoon, then were angry and rude that we showed up earlier in the day to pick up. This was a new prescription, pharmacist, did not consult on usage, nor were we given even basic information about the item. Also would not even talk about possibility of seeing if insurance would cover the eye drops. Will be getting our prescription moved. read more

Worst customer service around. They require you to sign a HIPPA waiver even though you pay cash and it's for my cat not me. They also are just rude and don't know answers to basic questions. The pharmacist's were very helpful in creating the perfect formulation of numbing cream for my aesthetic practice in Roseville. My clients state they feel very little discomfort as a result of using their product prior to laser and injectables. Believe me, I have tried MANY numbing creams, and Innovative has provided the most effective thus far. The customer service provided has always been exceptional, and medications always ready when stated.
