So I decided to look for an old time pharmacy. To my surprise, none really exist anymore. But I did find one, Vitality Pharmacy in Folsom. I decided to give it a shot, and Im so glad I did. The service here is fantastic. The staff take care and interest in my wellbeing. They fill my prescriptions quickly and send me a text when its ready. I couldn't be happier with my experience here. I drive all the way from Fair Oaks to get my prescriptions filled here, and its well worth it. And, if you dont feel like driving they also offer delivery for a small fee. Highly recommended!

Not over impressed with this CVS location. However I prefer this CVS as they do carry a variety of…read moreGeneric RX my Insurance will cover and it is close to home. On more than one occasion they have not had an RX on the shelf that my 22 month sons pediatrician had prescribed. This was very inconviencing (due to my sons age) and I would have appreciated a call that this was the case prior to picking it up. Also my Insurance has changed in the past year and with the transition period they were unable to verify my eligibility at one point (not allowing me to pick up my RX). Having worked in the Health Insurance Industry I am familiar with the web sites used to verify this information and the CVS techs were not, this was very unprofessional. Recently I had an experience picking up an RX prescribed to treat an infection I had. The Pharmacist was quizzing me about HIPPA info and my diagnosis, this was extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable, and I almost took it to management. I do not recommend this CVS, I have had better experiences at their other location on East Bidwell next to Bel Air.

Go back more than 24 hours later and they still don't have it. Well I get busy with work and can't make it in for a week. I go back and guess what: they still don't have it because they never started the transfer. The best part is that if you call in there is no option to actually talk with someone who can let you know, it you can leave a voicemail for them to call you back two days later. GO TO LITERALLY ANY OTHER PHARMACY!

Other than that, be prepared to be bombarded by rushing shoppers and their carts, drunk (or high) shoppers...and the oddly clothed people displaying what they think is proper outside clothing rarity. Don't let me describe them any further... But the store is nice and bright. The stock is plentiful and varied. And the price is really affordable! My family visit this store on the rare event of us needing something and we were near this store. Other than that, we would like to avoid it if possible. But did I say they were cheap...? The staff are few and far in between in this location. If you needed to ask a question or need help with locked-up items in the store, you will be waiting for a bit. (They lock up items now because of the rampant theft of the place). But then again, they are cheap...
