The auto center here is always very kind and quick with services. I highly recommend making an appointment before hand

This Walmart has been the quietest and less busy Walmart I've been too. There was barely anyone walking the store. There's also helpful customer service employees who helped me look for things. The store seemed organized but with some low inventory on racks . I was particularly looking for a bike bag and they only had small pouch. They also have an area with discounted items from Christmas; it's in the garden/yard area that is connected to the building, off to the side. I was also looking at futons and they did have a good selection in the furniture department. Overall, this store is clean and I re-visit again.

Oh Walmart. It lures me in with the prospect of an all in one shopping experience filled with bargain pricing. Where else can you find bargains for a plethora of items all under one roof. Stuff such as jumper cables, paint, fabric & sewing notions, personal care items, toys, clothes, cleaning supplies, arts n crafts, groceries, shoes, watches, electronics... on and on. So that's the lure. Lately though the inventory has been minimal to scarce. Understandable considering the current state of the world. But by golly, please put the merchandise next to the correct price tags. On my last several shopping trips, most of the inventory they did have stocked on the shelves were willy nilly placed about, not next to the correct price tags. Plus this location does not have price scanner stations. So it was difficult to figure out the costs of things. Also to exit the store with your purchase, you are required to show your receipt to the staff at the exit. So don't you dare pack away your receipt at the register because you'll need to scrounge it up pronto as you exit. The shining point is the staff. They have all been helpful and kind even when the people they have to deal with aren't. Five stars to them!

I'm there on a stormy day! The Parking lot was flooded. The store wasn't very busy, maybe because of the rain. This Walmart Supercenter is big. Pretty well organized. I can find the items I am looking for very quickly. Same as all the Walmart stores. I don't expect excellent customer service. But the price is right. I can get everything I need under one roof. Perfect for a rainy day!

In the rare occasions when I'm not able to find something I wanted, it's because it's something so obscure I wind up having to either ordering it online or making a trip to some hidden specialty store in the Bay Area to get it. I've been shopping here for a couple of years. There's another grocery store that's five minutes from my house, but I drive the 20 minutes to shop here because the overall experience is so much better. Today's trip really stood out to me because of a couple things... while I was at the deli waiting for the clerk to work on my order, at least three other employees came up to me and asked if I was being helped. I've been to other stores where I've stood at a counter for literally 5 minutes, watching employees going out of their way to not acknowledge me. That never happens here. Then I was really taken aback by how the peppers and mushrooms were displayed. The fact that whoever stocked these mushrooms took the time to turn every mushroom cap side up and arranged all the portobellos the way they are speaks to a dedication to quality work. You can tell that in this store, nobody half-asses anything, and the employees take pride in what they do.

Nugget Markets is basically the bougiest grocery store chain in the greater Sacramento area…read more All of the packaged deli foods perpetually look like they were chopped within the past thirty minutes, the bakery section looks like an actual high end European bakery, the floors are clean enough to eat off of, and the associates all seem happy with their jobs. This particular Nugget has a fairly large upstairs patio area with tables, chairs, restrooms, water bottle refilling station, microwave, etc. Lots of grocery stores in this area have a downstairs lounge area, but being upstairs (but still accessible via a ramp and elevators) gives it an extra edge. Plus you can't beat that view of the Mercedes dealership. The salad selection is some of the best I've seen anywhere, although they are very pricey at about $10/8oz (which is why I haven't actually tried one). I came here in search of some tampons that I couldn't find at Target, and was thrilled that this store carried small boxes of single sizes, versus the huge multipacks they had at Target. Thank you Nugget for doing a better job at procuring feminine health items than Target. As a bonus this store (like many others) is within walking distance of the wetland preserve.

I remember visiting Fork Lift like 10 years ago and really liking it - it is a sister store of Nugget Market I believe. The inside was massive, clean and well organized. Brought to you by the family-owned, upscale and very successful, Nugget chain of grocery stores. I became very well acquainted with the Nugget markets living in Davis. There were two stores not far from each other and they were always packed. I shopped at the smaller one as it was closer to my home. It is literally the only place I ever shopped for food.I cannot imagine shopping anywhere else. When I moved to El Dorado Hills 5 years ago... thank goodness there was a big and beautiful Nugget a mile and half away. My point is all Nugget markets are quite incredible. Nothing compares to them. Excellent quality, in-house prepared food, bakery... TDF, floral, meat department, liquor, and fabulous fresh produce section. Fork Lift is to me like the Nugget markets on steroids! I was astonished at the size of the store and cool inside architectural design. Yes it is hip! Super clean, well stocked in everything. Organized. Quite impressive. And the same great departments as I mentioned above that are available in the Nugget stores are right here too! The chatter is that the Fork Lift offers many discounted prices but honestly, I never see them. Then I heard the lower priced items are strategically placed in and around the store. Who knows. I enjoy taking the drive up the hill to Cameron Park occasionally just to wander around and marvel at this shopping mecca! Easy exit off the freeway and fast to find. Plenty of parking. Worth checking out if you are in the area or on the way to or returning from Tahoe. Did I mention super duper customer service!?! And weekly specials! Geez... a girl cannot remember everything.:) Here is to good eating!
