Well, Walmart is there for me primarily for one reason: cheap merchandise. It's good for the odd bargain stuff we need for the home, garden and cars. Other than that, be prepared to be bombarded by rushing shoppers and their carts, drunk (or high) shoppers...and the oddly clothed people displaying what they think is proper outside clothing rarity. Don't let me describe them any further... But the store is nice and bright. The stock is plentiful and varied. And the price is really affordable! My family visit this store on the rare event of us needing something and we were near this store. Other than that, we would like to avoid it if possible. But did I say they were cheap...? This is probably the best Walmart I've been to. The store is super organized, and so are employees. It is quite big, so if you're looking for certain things, I recommend searching it online to find the right aisle. I got a 6 wings combo that came with one side for $6.97. The portion is so big that I was able to split it into two meals. I love the buffalo wings and potato wedges here. Compared to other chains, they are surprisingly very flavorful! I don't care what anybody says if you don't like it don't shop there. It is my favorite place. They deliver my groceries. I love their app is perfect. I love the prices. The delivery service is absolutely five star. Walmart is done. A great job of helping customers and making sure the experience is well worth it. They're always early here. They always do a great job if they can't find a product, they come up with a good substitute. I love that what I would like to see on deliveries no paper bags please plastic the paper bags rip all over the place they're worthless to me the plastic bags I used them garbage bags put stuff in paper bags. I can't use at all. They're in the paper bags are embarrassing. It doesn't matter I don't care what people say. It's like McDonald's. Everybody complains about it, but everybody shops there. I love the selection of meat and one of my favorites is the selection of bread. It's incredible. I like the banana nut bread. I'm one of my favorites now and I really appreciate that. We live approximately 15 miles & gas being so high dips into our fixed income. Maybe work on you answering phones also customer service. This Walmart has been the quietest and less busy Walmart I've been too. There was barely anyone walking the store. There's also helpful customer service employees who helped me look for things. The store seemed organized but with some low inventory on racks . I was particularly looking for a bike bag and they only had small pouch. They also have an area with discounted items from Christmas; it's in the garden/yard area that is connected to the building, off to the side. I was also looking at futons and they did have a good selection in the furniture department. Overall, this store is clean and I re-visit again. read more

Me and my fiance went last week sometime and 1- we always go to this location because we live 2 min from it and 2- we always use self check out. This day we go to self check out and this indian looking man who works there was acting like he was restocking the bags on registers and apparently he had came behind me and i didnt notice him until i fully turned around and saw him super super close standing behind me playing with the bags adjusting how open they are and shi which made me very uncomfortable seeing how he allowed himself to get that close to me, he was watchin us scan the items and at the end i tell my fiance if that was everything and he literally jumps in "did you scan the water?" EXCUSE ME??!!! no lie we found that extremely offensive like he was tryna catch a thief or smt. Today 10/31 i go alone looking for few stuff plus African Soap from Shea Moisture brand, where is it? Locked up in a cage and i gotta ask a worker to get jt for me, she grabs it and tells me she has to put it in a box, then proceeds to lock the soaps; $5 soaps... in a box... i go to self checkout and had to obv ask them to get the soaps out for me, the guy grabs it unlocks it and walks back, im expecting him to hand it to me but nope, he goes around me and scans them himself. Once again a WTF moment which leaves me with no other option but to think they are being extremely racist... why tf would u need to lock up freakin $5 bar soaps????? Based mainly on the customer service, I'm raising my rating to 4 stars. This Wal-Mart is not without its issues, but the employees are very friendly, and always seem to be working hard. The greeters manage to keep a positive attitude, in spite of the fact that a lot of the clientele can be rude. Any time I have raised an issue with staff, they have been attentive, and have helped out immediately. Recently, I came in looking for some athletic shorts, and ended up buying two pairs. It wasn't until after I had tried them on that I realized that the fitting room wasn't technically open yet, and the employee had done me a favor by opening up a room for me. This influenced my decision to go ahead and get both pairs of shorts instead of just one. When it comes to online orders, they do a really good job. If anything, orders usually tend to show up sooner than expected. The gardening center still has the issue of over-watering their succulents, so, I'll usually only buy them if I can tell that they haven't been in the store for very long. I still wouldn't trust the auto center-- it's worth the extra drive to Roseville, if you ask me. And I stand by what I said about the bin label errors, but, overall, this is a pretty decent location. read more

Oh Walmart. It lures me in with the prospect of an all in one shopping experience filled with bargain pricing. Where else can you find bargains for a plethora of items all under one roof. Stuff such as jumper cables, paint, fabric & sewing notions, personal care items, toys, clothes, cleaning supplies, arts n crafts, groceries, shoes, watches, electronics... on and on. So that's the lure. Lately though the inventory has been minimal to scarce. Understandable considering the current state of the world. But by golly, please put the merchandise next to the correct price tags. On my last several shopping trips, most of the inventory they did have stocked on the shelves were willy nilly placed about, not next to the correct price tags. Plus this location does not have price scanner stations. So it was difficult to figure out the costs of things. Also to exit the store with your purchase, you are required to show your receipt to the staff at the exit. So don't you dare pack away your receipt at the register because you'll need to scrounge it up pronto as you exit. The shining point is the staff. They have all been helpful and kind even when the people they have to deal with aren't. Five stars to them! read more

My boyfriend, my daughter and I decided to stop in to purchase some festive attire and ornaments for an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party and Ornament Exchange! They oddly didn't carry men's Ugly Christmas Sweaters, but my boyfriend picked out a fun Elf shirt and hilarious Elf Mask hat! The selection was pretty slim for girls, but my daughter picked out one of the last Ugly Christmas Sweaters they had left my boyfriend luckily found, with a Santa headband to match and a pack of 2 Jojo Siwa Christmas dresses! I had a blast picking out all 3 of the beautiful Ornaments I wished I could keep myself if it weren't an Ornament Exchange Party lol! We will be returning to shop again, their customer service was great and everyone loved the ornaments we brought and my boyfriend and my daughter's complete outfits at the party! This is a horrific Walmart and their manager Nomi or Moni - is not helpful at all. I went to this Walmart 3 times to return a defective item. Saturday, I waited in the customer service line for 35 minutes. I couldn't wait any longer. Sunday, I waited in the customer service line again for 45 minutes - and then stepped out - did all my shopping - and came back to wait AGAIN - it hadn't moved an inch. It was insane how understaffed it was - and how the line was so long it went to the frozen section of the store. Who is in charge here?!?!? Meanwhile, a VERY loud employee was shouting and bouncing a ball at the door for Children's network. It's great you want to raise money for charity - but this behavior was really out of control. Loud, obnoxious and distracting - I went away for her instead of towards here it was so off putting. They also allow people out front to solicit you as you walk into the store. I am living paycheck to paycheck and want to shop in peace. Please, leave me alone! Stop bothering me while I shop! Anyway, back to my return issue..... Today, Monday I went back again to try for a THIRD TIME to return the item. Customer service is open 7-7. I got there at 7:03 - and they said "no exceptions" - so I got a manager at 7:05 who said he can't process a return. Why? Why can't any register do a return? How does a manager not know how to do that? He could give two craps about my situation. Then, I left because he was not going to help me. I sat on customer service chat for 48 minutes saying the same story over and over again - and finally got my return completed. Walmart is a mess and this store - wow - never going back. I usually don't like to shop at Walmarts because they're always crowded and the produce is generally not in good shape. This Walmart tho, it has it all. The produce is super fresh, the aisles are always clean and everything is always stocked. The employees are always very nice and you can tell they actually enjoy their jobs, which is rare for a Walmart. I will say tho, there's always someone at the front door asking for your signature or for donations of some sort. They pester you and follow you to your car which does make it very annoying. I had an emergency issue with two tires and needed them replaced- which I wish I hadn't of told them now- and figured Walmart in Folsom would be a good place to go for low cost and trustworthy service. I was wrong! They gave me the run around on the price of the tire because I was just looking for a cheapest replacements possible, tried to up sale me on every issue, then in the end, and I totally regret this now, sold me tires I could've got for way cheaper elsewhere-even other Walmart's- and even just left one of the tires that I had balanced on put on the rim, sitting by the back bay door, and I had to go look for it. Tried to buy cosmetics here at around 2:00 PM today, May 4, 2024. The cosmetics are now locked behind glass. We have to get an attendant to unlock them. An attendant shows up quickly. Once we get the cosmetics we want from the locked case, the attendant tells us that we cannot put them in our shopping cart. She tells us that she has to hold them in her hands and walk with us to the checkout if we want to buy cosmetics. She allows us to use the self checkout if we wanted, which we did, but then she scans the cosmetics she held in her hands FOR US, which defeats the purpose of using self checkout. But she lets us scan other things like food and clothes ourselves. Wow. I have NEVER been treated like a thief like this in my entire lifetime. Understanding pandemic and use of personal shoppers. Recent trip to this Walmart was ridiculous. On one aisle were two personal shoppers with the huge carts. Blocking the entire aisle. I would claim a lack of competence for this Walmart location doing much of anything right, but that would presume that any competence was ever on display. Let's go through a typical store delivery experience. Place an order, noting that it won't be deliverable for 4 days. It was one to two days during the free trial of walmart+ and inhome. They don't show up. Four hours after the end of the delivery window, they send an email "We're still on the way...we're just delayed", and of course they never show up. Call about it, but there's no answer. Call corporate, they call the store, who magically answers for them. They canceled it because they didn't have a driver, and they "Can't reschedule it". Call the store the next day and get a recorded message about their christmas hours, and this is january 25th, a month past Christmas. Get an actual person eventually, who tells me that there is no store manager to speak to, no idea if or when they'll be in, and "they sort of make their own hours". Now we're starting to understand the problem. Your success with this store depends on an individual employee who knows there is no oversight and no consequences to not doing their jobs. When you contact corporate to get a refund of the service that the store is ill equipped to provide, since this has happened two of the three deliveries this past month, you'll be told that they want to pro-rate the failed delivery charges and refund you $3 out of $40. And we're off to refuse the charges with the credit card company. Service is defined by how it's handled when things go wrong, and how often they go wrong. This has gone wrong so badly, that it's incomprehensible to me that this store is still open. Hey...wanna sign up for walmart+ and Inhome services? It's very entertaining. This is my second recent experience here with web pickup, and since they've both been poor, I had to weigh in. I'm not going to bother with boring details.
