This retail store was disheveled at 6:30 pm. I've never seen a Nordstrom Rack had clothing thrown over the racks and on the floor. There were some really great deals throughout the store. The service by Llsa Soto, Manager is not the Nordstrom standard. I had to return an item with a receipt from 3 days prior and packaged never open and she said I had to drive it back to Roseville. There is no where on the receipt that states that. The thing I left distasteful was how unprofessional she was, rude and rough around the edges. That is not a good example to her team to lead with poor customer interactions. She had attitude and she knew it with her tone (yucky). I waited in line for a long time, a lady in front of me had to returned a worn shirt, no tags and stain. The cashier called a manager up and he was young and African American. He had such good skills that I observed, then lisa try to intercept the Situation and question the customer and talk down to her. She also had a stack of stuff she was buying. Unfortunately the crappy manager lisa Soto helped me instead of the nice young manager that had way better people skills that meet nordstrom standards. Please choose better leadership to keep nordstrom reputation and a high standard. read more

We do allot of shopping at Nordstrom Rack. This location is inside the Palladio near Dave and Busters and one of the large parking garages. It is not as large as some of the other stores but they have a reasonable selection of clothing etc and makes the trip worth it. The store is well kept and I have always received good customer service when I have needed it (although not very often). My shopping needs are pretty straight forward so I know where to find the items I need pretty quickly. It usually saves me a trip to another location such as Roseville. The shopping value is great...same as other locations but just may not have the selection you would find at a larger store. read more

The Nordstrom Rack in Folsom is always worth checking out. I wouldn't drive out of my way though. Sometimes the inventory is non existent while other times it's packed. Like all outlet type shops, I suppose that's the way it goes. Right now, in early March, they have some women's shorts and linen tops in stock. Laundry/ Shelli Segal linen tops are marked 65% off retail. Spring and summer clothes are trickling in. Don't fret, they still have some women winter jackets (casual and formal) in stock. Staff has always been super helpful and courteous. Surprisingly on my last shopping trip, they were well staffed with folks at the checkout line and walking the floor asking everyone if they needed help. Good old fashion customer service, the kind that was provided in the pre pandemic days. Remember those days?!? :D read more

I stopped by Nordstrom Rack in Folsom yesterday, and ended up confused. Isn't this supposed to be a discount store? I couldn't find a single good deal. When my daughter was little, I remember finding lots of amazing deals in the toddler's clearance section. These days, I usually head straight for the beauty, shoe, and jewelry departments. In the beauty department, I spotted a bunch of MAC lipstick, and decided to have a look. They were marked at $24 each-- the same price they're sold for at the actual MAC counter. They had actually been marked up, and then marked down, to make it look like they were being sold at a discounted price, even though they weren't. This is dishonest, and is my main justification for going as low as two stars. Right now, as I write this review, Wakanda Forever, Tiwa Savage, and Kalen Anzai lipsticks are all listed at $23 on the MAC website. Next up: Tweezerman tweezers. I actually got excited when I first saw these, because I recently bought some Japonesque tweezers to save money, and they're crap. If I found a good deal on Tweezerman tweezers, I was going to buy them. Old, discontinued styles were being sold for $24 each. Currently, on the Tweezerman website, I can select from a variety of limited edition tweezers for $24 each. In this case, at least, they didn't mark them up and back down. They were just listed at $24. In the jewelry department, things were even worse. Baublebar earrings, which are sold at Target for well under $30, were on clearance for close to that price. Not only that, but the entire store was a mess. I know it's December, but it was like, noon on a Thursday. Recovery does not seem to be a priority. I'm not even going to address the shoe department. You get the idea by now, right? My theory is that affluent people who don't know how much things actually cost shop here, thinking that they're saving money. If you're someone who actually pays attention to price tags, you will probably find this store as disappointing as I did. Not a single good deal could be found. However, if money is not an issue for you, this is an okay place to shop. They carry great products, at slightly higher prices than you would pay for them elsewhere. read more

Visited the store with my wife and my first thought was that it looks nothing like a Nordstrom. I realize the store is marketed as a deep discount opportunity for a mix of merchandise, including items that have been marked down from full-price Nordstrom stores, as well as brand-name products specially purchased for the Rack, but the look and feel is like a second hand store. Although some of the merchandise could have been from a full price store, it seemed the majority was product purchased specifically for the Rack. I am not saying it was cheap stuff, but it seems like items that could be found at other discount department stores. Plus, having to wade through the cheaper stuff to hopefully find the one name brand item, that is hopefully in your size, in a color that is still in fashion and in season, seems like a frustrating waste of time. That approach may work for some, but it doesn't for me. read more

It is disgusting that the State of Cali encourages shoplifting, but that is what our "elected officials" decided was a "good idea". Of course this results in higher prices for the PAYING customers, but why should our politicians worry about that? Great store, we just remain completely shocked at all of the shoplifting that we all openly witness at ALL of our local stores these days. It appears our politicians want the votes of criminals. On Friday I stopped in to check out what this location had to offer and I had a nice shopping experience. I found a boho style jumpsuit for just $13.48, during a sale they were having, originally $29.97! I wore it to the Chalk it up festival the next day and it was very comfortable and looked great on, it looked very artsy with the flowy floral pants as well! I also purchased an oil-Free eye makeup removal, I poured the solution onto a cotton ball and wa-la my makeup melted completely off like magic, amazing thank you Neutrogena! This will be my new go-to makeup remover now! I would definitely recommend this location located in the beautiful Palladio shopping center! For over 40 years Nordstrom Rack has been saving customers a bundle, glad they offer a store like this, definitely a lot more affordable for single parents and families! I come to this Nordstrom Rack in Palladio many times in the last few years. It is one of the cleanest and more organized stores they have. But not the best if you're looking for the name brands or your favorite items. This location doesn't separate by the brands or designers as some of the Nordstrom Rack does! This is good and bad. The good is you can check out all the racks and you might found something unexpected. The bad is you can't focus on the items you're looking for, it will take a lot of time if you have more shopping to do on the day. The store is very clean and comfortable. I am enjoyed shopping there. Finding a parking space is not too difficult. I am always getting parking very close to the store even on holidays or on weekends. read more

Compared to the Arden location, of the two Nordstrom Rack in Folsom is much better because it's clean and more organized. I was able to find more size small items at this location. I also noticed that they had a better selection if you are looking for cute dresses for a wedding or cute cocktail dress. Fall fashion is definitely in full gear. They currently have cardigans, chunky sweaters, boots plus scarves and beanies out. This seems like a smaller location compared to Arden but it's much more organized. read more

This place is terrible! Jennifer S.'s review says it all: nothing is actually on sale and the place is a mess. Nordstrom Rack is supposed to be discounted items, but everything I've looked at is the same price, or more, as Nordstrom. This store is also very messy and unorganized. The pictures people post of a nicely organized, tidy store must be posting a different location or different store/company entirely. The clothes are always half off the hangar, the floors are dirty, the shoes almost always seem to have just one shoe in the box, and I have yet to find a salesperson anywhere other than a single one at a single register. This place looks like a slightly nicer Marshall's/Ross. I've only been here 3 times, but it's been varying times of year and varying days of the week. When shopping Nordstrom rack online I get great deals, so what is the deal with this location?? I think Jennifer S is 100% correct in her guess that the store is located in an expensive strip mall in a largely affluent area where people really don't know what a good value is and just assume it's a discount because they're shopping at what is supposed to be a discount store. read more

Nordstrom rack. You let a Karen into the store. I truly don't understand how you can say that you have a mask policy, and let these people in with a piece of saran wrap over their eyes. This is not a mask. This is a national pandemic with scientist telling you how to operate your store. You make announcements that say you clean at the top of the hour, but you wouldn't have to clean so hard if there weren't Karen's walking around with stupid little shields that do not protect your customers who actually want to stay safe. You cannot, and should not, continue to let these manipulating people into the store. They are going to drive away all of your customers during the Christmas shopping season. I certainly will not be back, knowing that you letting people who don't wear masks. Oh, and Karen, you're a jerk. Today, 5/8/2018, I got my exercise stooping, squatting, and perusing all the shoe isles for a pair of dressy sandals: I bought Cole Haan who happens to be my favorite, shoe designer! Also, I bought a light-weight, summer, silk jacket, a gold, silk dress, a gold headband, two strapless bras, and a small container of liquid makeup. I have visited Nordstrom in Folsom several times, since moving to Folsom in 2016 and now, I moved to El Dorado County in 2017. Sadly, there are no Nordstroms located in El Dorado County so, I must drive to either Nordstrom located in Folsom or the Nordstrom located in Roseville for purchasing everything and anything at the lower State sales tax (hint-hint). Still, I recognize the different inventory sold at Nordstrom located in Folsom verses the inventory sold in the San Francisco Bay Area Nordstrom: The inventory sold at Folsom realistically happens to be more informal, i.e., extremely casual-way below business casual, there are very few formal gowns in stock while the casual dresses I must declare as "frumpy bumpkin" lacking style, color, and quality . . . Some of the styles I saw reminded me of "The Munster's", Uncle Fester's wardrobe attire which lacked body, shape, and the colors were beyond dismally drab. In addition, should you need business, casual clothing, it is necessary hunting, piecing together an acceptable, business casual attire throughout the entire Nordstrom stock inventory. read more

Service was great, very helpful and accommodating dressing room attendant. She did accidentally put my shoes back, but she did retrieve them for me. The only thing I found annoying is the size racks for dresses are not sorted by size or item and not at all what the size listed is on at least 4 racks. Decent value and the only place in town I've been able to find swimsuits on the off-season. read more

BEWARE- This store price gouges it's loyal customers. I spent over $500 in 2 days here, despite being disappointed in my experiences before. It was the only location that had the suit we needed to get for my husband. It was their annual Clear the Rack event and I found a beautiful scarf dress on the clearance rack. It was missing a tag and I was unable to find another one despite looking on multiple racks. So at checkout, I asked the cashier if they could retag AND bring the similar item they were pricing the dress at. Instead the girl who price checked retagged without giving me the courtesy of knowing how she priced it like I had asked. Moreover, she left the price off of the new tag and the new bar code does not scan to an item on their site! Well with a simple search on the app, I found the she picked the HIGHEST PRICED item from that brand instead. Remember this was a clearance item (there is a tear/fraying on part of the seam) and yet I was charged full price. See attached pics. I spoke with Blanca who asked that I come back in on Tuesday before 5pm so she could look at it, but it wasn't convenient for me since I work in Sac. This store needs A LOT of work, tends to be very messy and underwhelming. Stark contrast from the better locations in Sacramento and Vacaville, which are much bigger too. Very disappointed and will be contacting Nordstrom about my experience. read more

It always amazes me that every one of these stores has a little bit of a difference to them. They are set up about the same way, but what they provide and the quantity that they provide for each department astonishes me every time. Whenever we are in a new area, and there's shopping involved, we always make a point to go into one of the "Rack" stores just to see what they have to offer. Okay, so true be told, one of my favorite brands is Herschel. Now, don't get me wrong...I'm not one of those brand names groupies. I just like their products and how they last. They are made of good quality materials and I appreciate it. This coming from someone who doesn't go shopping all that often. Anyway, this place had a (semi) clear small backpack and what do you know, it was my favorite brand. I wasn't sure I needed it right then and there so I just carried it with me throughout the store. I was with my son and my hubby and just waited to see if they would find some other treasures like I had. My son needed shorts so he was looking in the juniors section to see if the had his size. Overall, no workers asked if we needed help. The only workers I saw were ones at the cashiers and a couple stocking shelves, otherwise, there was no one else walking around asking people if they needed assistance with anything. I guess they wouldn't since this place isn't like a normal Nordstrom. Everything they offer is pretty much already displayed. If you don't see it, they most likely don't have it. This place was a little treasure of things. I ended up with my Herschel backpack and my son ended up with a few shorts and my other son did too (even though he wasn't with us but he needed some too). My youngest son ended up with new shoes since he was about to start school again and we all know how boys grow out of things super fast. He is no exception. Anyway, we will continue to peruse through more "Rack" stores for more goodies. Stay tuned. read more

Arrived at Nordstrom rack this afternoon with my elderly grandma and small child. Found a small crossbody designer phone case, marked down 65% ($15.97) by Kate Spade. When we arrived at the cashier, the tag had fallen off. Waited in line for what seemed fifteen to thirty minutes while the cashier called the back to get the price. Meanwhile my elderly grandma and child waited in the cart. She said the phone case was full price ($69.99). I was so frustrated as the tag was nearly on the bag minutes before. I told the cashier and she did not honor my word nor value my honesty. On my way out, I find the tag, go back to the front and show a new cashier. To which she replied, "So what? You want the Tag?". The communication between team members and the judgement displayed in the store towards customers is so disappointing and frustrating. Don't think i'll be back to this location soon. read more

This Nordstrom Rack location is my least favorite out of the other locations I've visited. To begin with, the selection is awful. I can easily go to another Nords Rack and find a handful of cute sandals but never at this one. In the rare event that I do find something, the prices are monumentally high. I saw a cute pair of Steve Madden cheetah pumps, for instance, the other day that were $70! I found the same item at Nordstrom for around the same price. I feel most everyone comes to the Rack because the prices are supposed to be more affordable but time and time again, that's not what I've experienced at this location. The prices are just as high as what you'd see at Nordstrom, so you don't feel like you're getting any sort of deal. Plus, the racks are always incredibly disorganized and messy. There have been times when we were in the Palladio and we dropped in to the Rack, hoping they would have something cute to buy, but the messiness of the store alone was too overwhelming for me and we just ended up leaving. Their return policy is also nothing like Nordstrom's. I once bought a pair of Charles David wedges and after a few times of wear, the wedge part started to come apart. I took it back to the store, showed my receipt, and while they ended up returning it for me, they made sure to tell me that this was an exception and that they couldn't return shoes in the future that had been worn, which is fine, since that's the return policy of most stores, but I'm saying don't expect to come here and get the same customer service as you receive at an actual Nordstrom store. While I understand their return policy, I also feel the customer isn't at fault when they buy a pair of sandals that end up falling apart after a few times of wear. read more
