I just went in there to get some clothes for my kids. The customer service was terrible. Beyond terrible. Nobody greeted me at the door, I struggle to get in with my double stroller and the employees just watched and stared. I happened to be the only customer in there so I would assume they would want to ask me if I need help or Looking for something in particular. Nope. The topper to the experience was upon checking out. My coupon was not working or didn't apply to my items which I have a hard time believing because I had quite a bit. & then she wouldn't accept my $200 bills with a total of $172.96 so I change would have only been $28! That's not a lot of change for a retail store to keep in the drawer. I ended up taking my money and leaving. I actually went back after I regrouped my thoughts to talk to the manger & she didn't seem to care one bit. Everything is like 20% cuter and cuddlier than many other baby brands, making this the best place I've been yet for picking out clothes for the future tyke. On my recent holiday shopping visit, they were touting some of the better sales in the outlets. It's hard to resist buying miniature versions of adult clothing. At sale prices it was like kryptonite. For as difficult as it is to hang and organize these tiny outfits, I was impressed out how well organized the racks were. I like the carters store. They always have sales in this place and wide selection for kids. The pricing are not different from the regular store so don't get fooled. Two weeks ago, I purchased few tops here thinking they were on sale and cheap. I went to the regular store it was buy one and get two for free. it was the same tops. I went shopping there today. I go there often. Today there were 3 people at the registers and none greeted me in. As I was getting pajamas, one of the display signs fell on my foot. I didn't inform anyone until I was at the registers paying. All they said was "are you ok?" I said "well what's done is done." There was no offer for ice or any triage. I was wearing TOMS and the display fell on my bare foot and hurt. I have 3 kids and shop there often. Poor customer service and poor acknowledgement of my injury. My favorite place to buy clothes for the little ones. The sizes always seem to fit just right and don't run too big or small like some other brands do. Went on a mini shopping spree this past weekend and saved almost $60 thanks to a 25% off everything coupon they sent us after the birth of our daughter and a fully stamped voucher. I did it! I visited Carters on Black Friday! Although I told myself I wouldn't do much in-store black Friday shopping this year I had to check out Carters. My peanut has been needing more clothes as summer is clearly over and he outgrew much of his warmer clothes. There were door busters, everything was 60% off and they were taking coupons so as you can imagine they were busy and yes the line was long. However, this Carters were was ready. The store was still relatively organized and sizes were easy to find despite mommies and daddies mixing outfits and tossing sizes around. The salespersons were very helpful and friendly. I was surprised by their patience at the check out as I tried to log into my account for my discount and my mom tried to exchange some shoes without a receipt. I was really impressed but how fast cashiers got people checked out and kept the line moving. I got about 8 new outfits and a jacket for Peanut so he's already ready to party his way to Christmas and I only spent about $60 after discounts! Thanks Carters'! read more

My favorite place to buy clothes for children. Now that Babies R Us is out of business, most parents have to go directly to the clothing stores to buy baby clothes. It is a pain because the different brands are no longer in one place, however, you get a larger selection of Carter's clothes when you come directly to the store. Customer service has greatly decreased at this store!!! I went in and bought $80 worth of product forgetting to use my coupon. I went back to the store 3 days later to price adjust it with my coupon being that 4 out of 6 of my items were not doorbusters so the coupon would have worked but the associate explained to me that they do not do price adjustments when really, a customer has 14 days to do a price adjustment. They also have a customer happiness policy that was definitely not met during my visit! Carters itself has good clothes that are typically decently priced but when you aren't properly being helped or told the truth in the store, it prevents me from wanting to continue shopping here. I love Carter's coz they have pretty clothes and good deals for my twin babies. However, today's experience at this particular location was not very satisfactory. We were looking for swimsuits for our twin girls and saw these very cute watermelon print swimwear. So okay great they have two of those in 18months. However, one of the two has damage on the front, it was not a huge damage but is still noticeable. So we approached one of the staff, she seemed nice, so my husband asked if they could give us a fair discount if we are going to purchase it even the product is not in excellent condition or if they have more in stock in 18 months size. The lady came back and told us they are sorry they no longer have it in stock, so we were like okay that's fine, but what pissed us off is when she said, "we can only give you a discount but we have to damage it all up". We were like "what?". We were not sure if she's kidding or what but she just told us that they can only give us a discount if they put more damage on the child's swimwear!!!!! I am not sure if those words came from the lady staff or from her manager but that was so rude of you to say, whether it was a joke or not. We were happily shopping with our twin babies and you tell us those rude words? I think she asked her manager about it and probably was told how to respond to us. We just said "okay" and just continued our shopping and paid for the two swimwears too coz we need them for an upcoming vacation. I just did not expect that a children's clothing store staff or whoever manager taught her to respond to customers that way, would say that to parents, you could have said " I am sorry ma'am and sir but we believe that the damage is pretty small for us to give you a discount". We love the clothes from Carter's. Cute and great quality. The baby wears many hand-me-downs from big sis and they still look great. Holiday weekends are great times to visit. All the Carters I have been to are clean, presentable and have friendly staff eager to help you find what you are looking for. The prices are a bit high BUT they always have awesome sales. After shopping in this store for almost 5 years, I had a terrible customer service experience tonight. As I waited at the counter to pay for my merchandise, there was an employee (Autumn) who undoubtedly knew I was there and ignored me as she went back and forth from the counter. Finally the asst manager walked behind the counter and also ignored me until she finally asked if I was "waiting for shoes." I mentioned to her that I had been waiting for at least 5 minutes and she said she didn't know what I had been waiting for. Then Autumn went on to say "sorry" while keeping her back towards me.
