Summer is creeping up upon us. I looked into my wardrobe to view what I have going on for "causal"summer wear. It wasn't looking good. All right, I gained a few pounds and haven't refreshed my clothes in a couple years. So off to Old Navy. Keep in mind, for the past year I've been laying low and mostly online shopping. But it's time to venture out safely. This Old Navy location is in a shopping center with a huge parking with tons of spaces. Right when I stepped in, there was a standing automatic hand sanitizer dispenser.There are signs asking customers to wear masks; all the staff were and most all the customers. Prominent 6 feet floor markers line the cashier queue. There is plexiglass between you and the cashier. There is a bottle of hand sanitizer next to each card machine at checkout. The floor inventory and displays were tidy. They had several staff on the floor arranging clothes, staff in the fitting rooms putting away clothes, and enough cashiers to move the queue quickly. The staff that I spoke with were gems; helpful, friendly, and efficient. Anyway, the day I dropped in women's shorts were $15 a pair, Tshirts and tops were $10-12. Great! I patiently looked through the piles of shorts to find the right inseam lengths and size. I had to try on 2 different sizes to figure out my best current fit. The fitting room staff was super helpful. I even bought a belt with the vow that I'm gonna lose the extra gained pounds and therefore a belt is needed because my shorts will become loose. (Haha. Wishful thinking) Tips: (1) You can find items online to have a better sales pricing and have them shipped free to the store for pickup; you can even return the mailed items in store or ship them back. (2) You can sign up for rewards program. read more

The Old Navy in Folsom looks new and better organized inside than most Old Navy stores I have visited. They have lots of good deals on the Thanksgiving Black Friday weekend. They have many items all over the store waiting for you to bring them home. The customer service at the checkout counter is moving very fast. I was looking for cute boys clothes and a shirt for an event. I was surprised I was able to find a plus size shirt that fit! I got my kids so cute shirts and my mom found a dress. When we were checking out we were charged for an item we didn't buy or have. I'm glad my mom checked the receipt. An employee helped us rectify the mistake but it did leave a bad feeling to go back. Turned around the corner and tho it was quite wrinkled and a bit pricey, I found a black romper that fit my body perfectly and looked cute on! This place is a giant clusterf*ck... Very disorganized..The shoe racks and clothes looked like the aftermath of Black Friday. It even kind of resembled a 5 year olds bedroom! I was surprised to see a lot of associates on staff and the place so disorganized. The associates were very friendly but probably because they didn't have to really fix the mess or something to that extent! This Old Navy is generally pretty clean and the staff are helpful, always around when or if you need help. Because this store is located in a huge shopping area, there is always plenty of parking. I love love love their leggings! If you wait a little bit, you can also get them on sale! Old Navy is the perfect place for clothes for my niece and nephew! This Old Navy is always in tip top shape and customer service is great. Lines go by really fast, and plenty of people on the sales floor to help you with questions. One of my favorite places to shop at is Old Navy, and this particular location is one of my favorites. This store is huge. Probably one of the bigger sized Old Navy's that you'll find. Waay bigger than the Arden Old Navy, and about the same size, if not bigger than the Citrus Heights Old Navy. Selection here is always available. They always have all the different sizes in. I also love this location because they have a huge woman's clearance section! Workers here are really nice and friendly. A l w a y s willing to help out or chat up with a customer. Also, it doesn't hurt that this Old Navy is in a plaza with a Ross and Marshall's next door ;D read more

They always have cute clothes but that's just because old navy generally has cute clothes. This store always seems to only ever have two to three cashiers working even when the line is all the way full and outside of the little line area that contains overly priced potato chips, candies, and any general item my kid will want me to buy so I can break his heart when I refuse to buy the $12 snack size bag of potato chips. I am writing this review as I stand in line even though I have already been standing here for 20 minutes. I definitely wouldn't have waited except I needed those darn Fourth of July shirts for 2019. This location has HORRIBLE customer service. If I can give this place zero stars I would! I had purchased a couple pants for work and realized the size was one size too big so I decided to go back and exchange them to one size smaller. I had lost my receipt and was just asking to exchange to different size. The cashier that was helping told me that something was "weird" and whatever it was it wouldn't let her proceed with the return so she went ahead and called the manager she said her name was Jen. Jen, the manager said due to "store policy" she can't return/nor exchange my pants. I told Jen, all I want is to exchange the pants to one size smaller and she was rude and said "sorry we can't do anything about it". That made zero sense to me, the pants are brand new, tags are still on, nothing is wrong with them. I'm not going to be able to use them because they're too big! So at that point my money is wasted. I had to get the correct size no matter what so I went to the pants area and I noticed the manager Jen was following me. She was there just starring at me while I'm trying to find the correct size so I can just go ahead and purchase. She made me feel like I'm some kind of thief!! I've never felt so disrespected!!! I walked in there just wanting to exchange my pants to a different size and the manager refuse to exchange the pants. Also, I asked the manager Jen what her last name was because I was going to turn her in to corporate and she REFUSE to give me her last name. I came here today to buy some shorts and some canvas slip-on shoes, and left slightly discouraged. Apparently Old Navy is having a summer shorts sale going on right now, so I thought this would be the perfect time to stock up. However, I should have known better. Like most other "sales" you usually see at department stores, the only stuff that is actually on sale is the crappy stuff you don't want. And all the shorts I found that were on sale were the exact type I wouldn't be caught dead wearing in public without a mask to hide my identity. However, I did eventually find some some shorts that worked for me, but these suckers were nowhere near the sale rack. As for the canvas slip-on's? Nowhere to be found. I saw them on Old Navy's website, so I figured they had to have them in the store. I REALLY hate when I find something on a stores website, only to find out they don't physically have it in any of their stores. I'm not a fan of online shopping, and I believe that if you have it on your website, it should be at your store! So, assuming that they were located in a part of the store I couldn't find, I asked a couple of different employees where the slip-on shoes were. Both times I received a response of "uh, you mean boat shoes?". Side note: I hate boat shoes. They look hella goofy, and the closest thing in my immediate proximity to a "boat" is my neighbors 1967 Cadillac Eldorado. Anyway, So apparently there are none to be found here...and I looked everywhere. For some odd reason there are like four different areas where you can find men's shoes. And the area I did find the largest selection of shoes was way in the back, not facing outward. These are not Easter eggs, it's merchandise. Put it where people can find it. Anyway, they did have some nice stuff in here though, and the lines weren't terribly long, which is a plus. Maybe I'll be back sometime in the future, but I'll call ahead first to make sure I'm not burning gas money driving all the way over there for nothing. read more

Be very careful shopping here!! Keep your receipts for months. I brought a return there and was not given credit for it on my next purchase. Also, the time before when I tried to cash my rewards which I had never used I was refused with a BS answer. This place has gone to the dogs, they should carry dog collars etc. again. I love shopping at Old Navy. This location is well placed, service is great, and store is always clean. The one complaint I have is that they are ALWAYS out of middle sizes. Often there is only XS and XL on the rack. Oh...also, going for specific sales can be a disappointment because they might only have a handful of the item on sale. read more

The staff at old navy are listless when it comes to customer service and they all look like trainees who have not worked in this industry before. We bought a bunch of clothes the previous day using our rewards coupon only to find a better deal the next day. We brought back all the clothes back into the store along with our store receipt to take advantage of the deal. The lady who initially handled our transaction for Kathleen who talked pleasantly but could not make sense of what we were trying to do after I took the time to explain several times. I felt like I was training old navy staff for free on how to do their job. She then called in the Manager Kale who was more hopeless and rude and bluntly said he cannot help us accomplish what we wanted to do. I am surprised such folks still have a job and old navy employs people like this. We live in interesting times indeed. I usually shop at the Roseville location but happened to be in Folsom this weekend and decided to stop by. This store was not very busy yet very disorganized and sooo picked over. They had barely anything left on the shelves in the baby section... was a sad sight really. The gal working over there said "we should be getting another shipment in later this week" she didn't even offer to ship a size free to my home if they didn't have it in stock line roseville has always done for me in the past. Throughout the rest of the store sizes were picked over as well just not as bad as the baby section (almost empty). I will stick to the roseville location. read more

Where there are sales, this is the place to go. I a not a big fan of the clothing but sometimes you can find some cute buys. A few days after Christmas I decided to take a look, there was a sale for coats and of course by the time I got there the good ones were all gone...except, I spotted a rack in the dressing room and TA-DA, I found the gem! A cute black jacket, regular price was $50, sale price, $14! AMAZING! So happy!!!! The store is clean and the staff is very friendly. They price checked clothing for me and got me different sizes to try on. read more
