Customer service is SO HARD to find these days. From the moment we walked in to Zumies in Folsom, my daughter and I were instantly greeted and told what deals were going on. Blake helped us the entire time, grabbed her different sizes when things didn't fit, and gave great suggestions. I'll tell you what, even if she hadn't found anything in this store, I still would have purchased JUST because of the customer service.well f*cling done!!!! Really good customer service. I've been here a few times and was helped by different salespeople each time. They were all patient and helpful with me. The store is well-maintained. My daughter always finds great clothes here. They have a couple brands that are a little too "much" for me to tolerate. I really don't need my 11yr old daughter to see "i love boobies" merchandise. i have an unholy passion for shoes. I also have an unholy passion for deals....therefore, i went to the zumiez outlet looking for some bargains... why the f they call this an outlet i have no idea. The prices are pretty much the same as the regular store except they have a crappier selection of shoes...i could feel the crappy selection if at least they had some bargains on it...but i guess the zumiez corp translates outlet into "store where suckers are willing to pay for crap they wouldn't normally buy for the same price in the mall store simply because we call it an "outlet" store" now granted i didn't check out anything else besides the shoes, but thats because i don't buy clothes that require me to apply chafing cream to my nether regions. another point of annoyance...if your going to hire tweeners working for you ...its prob a good idea to have someone supervising them to make sure there not making racetacular jokes at the loudest possible volume.... not to say i don't love racial humor...i just don't think it's appropriate in a shopping environment. read more

So a couple days ago i went in here looking for a gift for a guy i basically knew nothing about. I was fortunate enough to meet the lovely nicole who helped me for so long picking out different options, suggesting different items, and really just going above and beyond. I was definitely a difficult customer as we had to go through multiple items but she was so patient and helpful it made the shopping process so so easy and fun. I also want to give a shout-out to jude who helped me as well giving different pointers and picking pieces from different aesthetics, i really really appreciated both of their help and because of them i will be returning over and over again. really great experience and both of them need a raise immediately. if any spots in management open up they are two candidates i definitely think you should consider!!! read more

Honestly just disappointed. Tried to return a jacket I got this month and didn't end up getting the return which was okay, but the guy working there didn't even know where his own product was, wasn't going to let me return it because they didn't have it"". Thankfully his coworker- knew where it was and said they had had it for a while. Although I was grateful that she knew what her own store sold. She lacked any sort of help and had an attitude. For an outlet store, Zumies is sure expensive. They sell a wide selection of "skater" brands, and a recent shopping trip opened my eyes to just how ridiculous the brand markups are on all the clothes my teenage nephews want for Christmas. While almost all the surrounding stores were selling their entire stock at 40%-70% off, Zumies was only offering a lame "buy one, get one at 50% off" sale on select items. I assume this is because no matter how expensive this stuff is, they know people will buy it. $65 for a pullover sweatshirt? $40 for a t-shirt? At least the sales guy was nice when helping me hunt down a $120 windbreaker in my size. I guess you can chalk my lack of understanding up to me never caring less about brand names and more about prices. Hey, I get my jeans at Costco.However, if what they carry is what you seek, I suggest Pac Sun for the same selection at more reasonable prices. read more

Fun fact: A man once told me that I have a 16 year-old's taste in shoes. The man who said this to me is three things: balding, middle-aged, and absolutely correct. Being a skater kid all my life, I find skate shoes incredibly comfortable and stylish. I also find them kind of expensive (at least the brand new editions). With this Zumiez store nestled inside the Folsom Premium Outlets, you'll notice that their prices, selection, and brands match their website to the letter. The only downside to this is, once they're out of an item, they're out. This store also has a good selection of hats, belts, t-shirts, pants, beanies, jackets, and more. For those of you who live or shop in the area, this is a great place to get the gear you like for cheap. For those of you who don't live in the area though, I should mention that zumiez.com offers free shipping to any Zumiez store with your on-line purchase. read more

All I have to say is the customer service is astounding! None of the other stores in the area had nice shorts for young men Zumiz was our last stop so our faith was so shot! As soon as we entered a sweet young lady name June greeted us with so much willing to assist. She paid good attention and was so interested in getting my son hooked up with what he said he was looking for June new the latest trend and went out of her way to find something stylish I guess im used to most employees her age playing around w each other and assisting me at the bare minimum or not even at all lol June was an excellent example of customer service for Zumiz! read more

I've been looking around Sac for a skate board for quite a while - okay, well 2 weeks but when I want something I want it now. I was particularly interested in Arbor boards. Came here and they have the best selection of Arbor boards anywhere around. Good selection of boards overall. Javier helped me out & had a ton of info to give me. He pulled at least 8 or so boards our for me to stand on & feel. He explained pretty much each one. He really knows what he is talking about and not just telling me bs to get me to buy something (in my opinion). This place does seem to be a bit pricier for being an outlet, but I find that to be true with most outlets these days. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a board. read more

Other than getting lucky enough to find an elusive good looking pair of shoes in your size on the sale racks or a piece of outerwear that isn't horrendously non outlet priced this place seriously disappoints. Honestly other than the shoe sales racks the only thing outlet about this Zumiez is their Folsom "Premium" Outlets location and how much dirtier they allow the store to be on the inside. 90% of the the stores contents are current offerings at full price, most anything that is actually on sale is WAY old like two to three seasons behind and or physically dirty from sitting around 'cause no one wanted 'em then, and no one wants 'em now. read more

The fat white manager is piece of crap that needs to get some lessons on good customer service and needs to learn some manners ! He made me feel uncomfortable the whole time and I didn't want to buy anything. He's not qualified to be a manager nor qualified to work around people. He also probably shouldn't wear skinny jeans that are 5 sizes too small cause his belly and ass is hanging out and people have kids. Would not go there again!!! Not good. Just went in...and out because the music offensive. Music was sexual and racy, playing the "N" word and no one greeted me. Folsom outlets are typically a family friendly environment. Zumiez has cute clothing and a good selection. They always seems to be fully stocked and clean. That being said, I am always very disappointed in the customer service of the Folsom Outlets store. There has been several times where I have walked in and been completely ignored by the staff. Like this afternoon, I walked in and saw a very cute pair of shoes I wanted to try on and I tried to find a staff member to get a size but they were just talking in the back. I could hear them talking so I said excuse me trying to get their attention but instead they just got quiet and didn't come out. Another family came in and were also ignored by staff so they left as well. It appears there are a lot of stores closing at the outlets due to lack of business and I would hate for that to happen to Zumiez however if their customer service continues this way I wouldn't be surprised if they closed too. Since this has happened on a couple of previous visits I will not be returning to this location. read more

Was about to purchase some items off of the buy one get one half off rack and found a really dope huf jacket and kindly asked the smaller lady up front with brown hair and brown eyes (didn't catch her name wish I did.) She sat there and referred it to being a men's jacket like I didn't already know that. Then she sat there and told me it wasn't on the buy one get one half off very rudely as if I was trying to pull one off on the store. It's a great store with friendly staff. When I first walked in headed straight for the shoes. Immediately they asked me if I wanted to try on a pair. I was hesitant over the prices, so I moved on to the pants. I usually wear a size 29 and their selection went 28, then 30! Skipping 29! I grabbed both to try on and the person who asked If I wanted to try on shoes was really helpful. He grabbed a ton of pants for me to try on in both 28 and 30. He explained that if the pants have some spandex it'll have more of a stretch to them. I left happy, and my only regret is I didn't get his name. :) read more

Walked into Zumiez. Not one greeting or hey do you need any help. I went to return/exchange a pair of shorts. I looked around the store first for my item. I asked an associate (June) a question. She completely disregarded me and started talking to her employee about other pants. Okay finally she gets to me I asked do they have the shorts. She says no. Okay so I ask her if she can help me look it up and see if other stores have it. One she didn't know how to look it up. In the middle of look it up she left and went to help other customers. I waited and waited and waited. So I go up to her and asked her if she was going to help me or not? She said there is a girl standing there. I asked her which girl who is this girl? Because if someone would have helped me I wouldn't have been asking June what was going on. She told me to watch my tone and that there are other customers there. So I don't get it am I not a customer I didn't see anything wrong on my part. So imagine if I was a secret shopper this how June treats customers. If you can't handle a simple customer service job don't work in customer service doesn't seem to suit you. Horrible experience. No wonder you have security there.
