They have a wonderful collection but the staff is meh! They come off as a bit pushy. We went in to get some dresses and they told us they are busy due to prom season and we can only try 6 dresses. While we were trying on the dresses there was not another customer in the store. And this is on a Sunday! They do get a lot of walkers who just walk in to 'look' at the pretty dresses but that does not mean you limit a genuine shopper. I have several events & galas coming up so wanted to purchase many dresses but only got 1. If they let me try more I would have purchased more, but oh well. Also throughout the time the 2 women who were working at the store were talking in their language. I could tell they were mad at us and gossiping. When my daughter and I walked by this store there were two lines of beautiful gowns at the entrance of the store that caught our eyes. We decided to go in and "look" because she already had her prom dress that she wore to her bfs prom. I wanted something bigger, something with more sparkles and and jaw dropping effect. It's her last dance after all . She tried on so many but when she tried her dress it was such an obvious choice it was absolutely stunning. The associates were friendly and very helpful. There were a bunch of fitting rooms minimizing the wait times. They also sell a very large selection of tiaras all shapes and sizes. They also sell heels and necklace earrings sets, and purses. One of the ladies was a seamstress and could do the pinning at the store. She was reasonably priced. Also they do ship dresses and you can order sizing. Worst experience ever. I walked in and they were straight up rude. Told me they were closing soon, they are tried, and if I am even going to try dresses on. I was in the store for about 2 minutes at the point, didn't even see the entire store. I came with plenty of time before closing and there were still 3 other families in the store with me. I was by myself there for less than 10 minutes. I kept to myself and didn't bother anyone until the lady said that to me. It was said in a harsh tone. Bought two senior ball dresses here and was told that we would get a discount for buying the dresses together and that the price included the alteration. This was not true when it came time to have dresses altered. I also noticed a tear in the dress after purchase and that would've cost to fix it. The lady told us that her $250 dollar price for simple alterations on two dresses was the best price we would find. That wasn't true. All in all the dresses are good , a little up charged but good quality, would not recommend for alterations. Make sure to get in writing what they say and quote you the first day! My dress needed to be hemmed and taken in at the shoulders and I wanted to add a slit she wanted $100 . I will leave a pic of the dress. I found another place "ark cleaners" that is doing it for half the price! The shop contacted me and was able to solve the problem my sisters dress came out nicely. read more

Very disappointed, horrible customer service, if you can even find the sales rep. Today my niece and I went shopping to look for wedding dresses, we went in the store and we're there for over 15 minutes, and not one person came out to help us. We decided to go to the food court and then try back a few minutes later. I bought an expensive couture wedding dress from a designer at a boutique in the bay area, but wanted to have it altered in the Sacramento area. When my dress came in, it was too big and I was going to need alterations. My mom had been looking for a mother of the bride dress and had looked here and told me they do alterations. I took my dress into Ocean to get a quote for doing a hem, taking in the chest and waist, and adding a bustle. She said she could do it all for $150! Everyone else I know got their wedding gowns altered for $500+, so I felt like I had to at least give her a chance for how inexpensive it was. At first I was a little skeptical because she only put a few pins in, but Ocean was able to work her magic and my dress came out great! My dress has a lot of beading and she only took a week to do my hem and take in the chest. It was still a little big in the waist, so she kept my dress to take that in and do the bustle. I am still trying to decide what I want to do with the belt of my dress and she said I could just bring it back and she would sew it for me, whatever I wanted. Overall, I am very happy with her work! Ocean also told me that she does some same day alterations for things like pants hems. That's great to know, since a lot of places can take several weeks. This store also has a lot of really pretty dresses for proms, beauty pageants, etc. and they even sell wedding dresses. I wish I knew that before I had gotten my dress. They also sell accessories and purses. I don't really live nearby, but I would take things to get altered there again. read more

I brought in my wedding dress a bit stressed out because it was only 4 weeks until my wedding date and it needed to be altered and steam pressed. The lovely lady Ocean calmed all my worries and I left there feeling as light as a feather. She even gave a great recommendation on what to do with my little train after the ceremony. Ocean helped me find a beautiful dress for my wedding and my daughters wedding, they seemed to be custom made for me. I went into the shop totally blind on what I was looking for and she's the one who guided me to a light mint green dress that ended up looking stunning and she did all the alterations in one day and was ready the next day. Ocean is amazing!!! I had purchased a bridesmaid dress from Davids Bridal and just picked it up a couple days ago. Well it was too tight around my thighs/butt and couldn't even sit down in it. My mom and I were at the mall to get some undergarments and she took me into M&M just to have a look around and Ocean asked what we were looking for. We told her I needed a long chiffon dress without any beading or sequins, just plain. Ocean said why don't I go ahead and try on 1 dress and I'll love it. So I did and she was so right!! It fits so much better, she knew exactly what my body type needed and even though it's a strapless dress, she's going to add straps to it for me because I need the support for my bust. And instead of taking 2 months like Davids bridal did, it only takes 3 days here!!! And that's without priority/rush delivery. It's such a relief that I can get a whole new dress that I'm so much more comfortable in, and we're only 4 weeks from the wedding! The dress I chose was ordered way too big. The dress needed to be altered 3 inchs at the shoulders and sides. When I got the dress home and checked it just before the wedding, a piece of the embellishment was hanging off which I had pointed out at my last fitting and was not repaired. My sister in law did it for me. At the wedding we had music but did not dance due to time constraints. When I took my dress off, more of the embellishments were hanging off. I can't imagine what would have happened if I tried to dancing in the dress. I would not recommend this store. Dresses are not of good quality. With alterations, the price of the dress was $450.00. I have been looking for a wedding dress for a while when I came to this shop. At first I was hesitant to buy because just like everywhere else, I had to order the dress first then fit it. I personally preferred to fit a dress before buying but all other stores who had the dress are either way too expensive, or I would have to buy the one off the rack because they require at least 3 months of the dress to arrive. By then I wouldn't have time for alterations. Anyway, on my second try I looked around their RTW selections and found one that I liked. Not that it was my dream dress or something but it will do since my wedding was less than 2 months away. I tried it on an it was TOO SMALL.... I couldn't even zip it up an inch. Ocean said she'll do the alterations herself and create a corset back so the gown could fit, do the hem, bustle, either remove the top part to make it sleeveless or fix it to fit better, all for $250.. The dress looked really old and needed to be cleaned, but for the price of everything I decided to just get it. Some of the reviews here are true. She's very honest and frank. I didn't think she was rude but other people might. She did tell me I had enough time to lose the extra pounds and even gave me her "secret" morning drink of lemon water with ginger and garlic. Anyway, I thought she was just being honest and was trying to help. Overall, I am happy with the wedding gown. My mother and sister, who happens to be my maid of honor, all went to her too for the dress and alterations. I wouldn't say it's a perfect fit but she did good. She even cleaned my gown and that really made it for me! 5 days into my wedding and I don't have to worry about my dress at all.. Thanks Ocean! I have been in this shop multiple times because my daughter does pageants. I will not be coming in ever again. My friend and I went in there today looking for homecoming dresses for her step daughter. ..while we were in there my friend decided to try on wedding dresses as her wedding is in 10 months...as she was trying on dresses the owner came up and asked her when her wedding was...my friend told her when and the owner of the shop then proceeded to tell my friend "oh good then you have plenty of time to lose weight" . Then suggested she try on one that tie on the sides so she might be able to fit in them easier. Really lady!!!! You are the owner of this shop and that's how you treat customers????
