They promised it would arrive in a week to a week and a half. 3/30: after hearing nothing , I went to their store to ask about the dress. They were unable to find that it was ever ordered. They let me know they would speak to their manager. They texted me the same day to let me know it would be in on Thursday (4/2). 4/3: on Friday I texted to find out if the dress had come in on Thursday. They assured me I could come pick it up later in the day. Then they sent a follow up text message saying that it wasn't in, but it would be there Monday (4/6) or Tuesday (4/7). 4/7: I texted to see what the status of the dress was. The owner called me and let me know that it would be in on Thursday. Prom is Saturday. I asked for a refund since prom is in a couple days and we have no dress, and that every other deadline had been missed. The owner refused saying she would only give me a refund if the dress did not get here in time for prom. She indicated that the prior dates I was given were by staff that did not have authority to give dates. She also indicated they did not give refunds, but I reminded her that she has my money and I have no dress. She still refused to refund me. I let her know I would call my bank to reverse the charges. She ended the call by telling me that she would reach out on Thursday to let me know I could pick up my dress. Update: 4/9: the owner texted me at 3:25pm letting me know the dress was available for pick up and offered to discount a third of the cost. I reiterated my request for a full refund since the transaction wasn't available to be completed until a day and a half before prom and in that time we had to get a new dress. I sent her a recap of the timeline and she responded saying "I completely understand and you're right, I would plead my case, but in the event to not further inconvenience you, we will just settle at a refund. Please provide the last four digits of the card used." I'm glad this is concluded and VERY glad to have my money back.

I was the groom of a recent wedding and was in need of a tux rental for me and my groomsman. My now wife didn't like the look/style/colors of tux's at several other rental places but found the perfect look for me at Jim's Formal Wear online. Since Magnolia is a distributor for Jim's Formal Wear, I went in to get sized and place the order for the rental. Lupe was awesome and went above and beyond with her service. She sized me up (and several of my groomsman) and placed the order. A few days before the wedding, we got the tux's. Mine fit perfectly, but one of my groomsman's pants were too small. Lupe overnight shipped bigger replacement pants right to his house to save him a 30 minute drive of having to come back in. Another groomsman was out of the country for the military and sent me his sizes via text. Unbeknownst to me, Lupe explained the situation to Jim's Formal Wear and together she was able to get them to send out a second suit (one size larger) just in case the sizes he sent me were to small. This of course was at no extra cost to me. Lupe was instrumental in ensuring the wedding day went off without any hiccups because of her superb customer service. My gown was heavily stained from juice and they were able to get every stain out. The dress came back with some loose threads but I didn't mind that too much. The men's sport coat came back fine. It was almost $100 for both items, I'm not sure if this is normal considering the formal gown was heavily stained. They only accept cash so I had to go back a different day with cash. I took a total of 2 weeks to pick up the items, there was some sort of mix up when I went to pick up my items and they said my items were not ready. I explained I had been there the week prior but didn't have cash. It took some time but they found my items after a few minutes. It made me a bit nervous but I'm glad they found my stuff. I'd probably come back if I'm in a pinch but not too sure this is my first choice for a cleaner.

After picking them up, I was getting ready to wear the khaki coat on Saturday and noticed it still smelled like body odor. I also noticed two stains--one on the upper right chest and another on the lower left chest--so I wore the dark gray coat instead. The next morning, I brought the khaki coat back and explained the problem to the employee working there (guy with beard). I asked him to smell it, but he said it smelled fine. When I pointed out the two stains, he started arguing with me about why I didn't disclose the stains when I originally dropped the coat off. I have a 3-year-old son and, like most people, I don't carefully inspect every piece of clothing before taking it to the dry cleaner. I'm bringing it there to be professionally cleaned, so I would expect stains to be noticed and properly treated. I asked him to clean it again, and his response was, "OK, I'm gonna let this one time." That really bothered me because I've been a customer since 2019 and had never brought anything back or complained before. I picked up the coat again on Friday and wore it to an event on Saturday. During the event, I kept smelling something like dirty feet. Eventually, I realized the smell was coming directly from the same two stained areas on the coat. I tried wiping them off, but the odor would not go away. My wife even sprayed scented hand sanitizer on the coat just to make the smell more bearable. I'm very disappointed, not only because the coat still had stains and a terrible odor after being cleaned twice, but also because of how my concern was handled. A longtime customer should not be argued with or made to feel like they are asking for a favor when bringing back an item that was not cleaned properly. Unfortunately, I will not be returning if this is how customer concerns are handled.
