In one brief statement, this place truly makes me say "it's a no for me dawg". I ended up at Miosa Bridal with my friend who was wedding dress shopping. We got there a couple minutes before her appointment and even after checking in, were essentially ignored while other parties were greeted and escorted inside. This happened for a while with people who came in after us getting much more seamless service; we had to re-alert the front desk staff that we were still waiting before we were finally led back. I will say the stylist was kind though once she asked my friend for her preferences, she disappeared for almost ~30 min. This definitely cut into our already delayed appointment and took away from the overall experience. There was a bit of a gap between what my friend was looking for and what the stylist pulled though I don't think this was their fault at all. Towards the end, we hadn't found THE dress and there was definitely an all hands on deck moment where multiple people came by to grab dresses, clear the area, and "assist". I honestly think it would have been more constructive to literally state that we were approaching the end of our appt time and wrapping up. Though this store carries a good amount of variety, I would not recommend this experience to other brides. It felt rushed, impersonal, and overall detracted from the shopping process for my friend. The store itself is expansive; the front exterior facade is a complete fake out because it winds and winds in the back and has a good amount of capacity. Genuinely want to write about my experience to warn any future brides of what could happen to them! WARNING!!! Take caution, as once they secure your money and make the sale, communication is minimal. Save your time and go to a local bridal shop instead!! October 2026: Booked a bridal apt. and tried on several dresses, which went well overall as I returned again for another apt. to say yes to the dress. I purchased the dress, a separate corset, and extra fabric while paying 50% of the total. March 2026: I received the notification that items were ready, so I took the 1.5 - 2hr drive to pick up my items. However, once I arrived, I was then informed that only the dress was available. I tried on the dress to check the fit and make sure all was good. I also remembered discussing what alterations we were considering (hence ordering the extra fabric) from my initial appointments, but no notes were taken down to reference them after ordering. Additionally, the person assisting me was absent for the entirety of the appointment (a different person from my first 2 appointments). Considering alterations, the seamstress assisted me, but made me feel extremely rushed and unheard, even with what seemed like a few appointments occurring in the store. Once that was wrapped up, I was the one to have to request a printout quote of the alteration estimates, only for it to be incorrect and missing part of what was discussed with the seamstress. I asked the estimated date for when the corset & extra fabric would come in, and was told around April when they would let me know. May 2026: Life gets busy, or sometimes things are delayed, but I was the one who called in to see the status of the remaining items. I was told the dress & corset (the dress I already picked up in March) had already come in the previous month, but I was never contacted by Miosa Bride. I was then told the fabric had still not come in and should arrive by the end of May, where they would contact me when ready. June 2026: I still had not received any information about my remaining items and called in again for an update. I was told everything was ready (already had picked up the dress in March), and inquired about shipping options to avoid the additional drive. It was an estimated $35 to ship to my address. I expressed my dissatisfaction with my experience thus far and requested that the shipping fee for the corset & extra fabric could be waived (at this point in time I had already paid in full). I was told that the manager would be informed and would give me a call the following afternoon. The following day Miosa Bride contacts me however, it is the first person who assisted me during my first appointments not a manager. They confirm I want to ship my items, but now quote the delivery for $100 but the address is the same as the previously estimated $35. I reiterate my frustrating experience and ask that the fee be waived. I was told that the manager will be in touch as she was confirmed to be in that day. I am still waiting for the manager to contact me as stated twice before. They have my money and my remaining items, but the manager hasn't contacted me to resolve this. Something that is supposed to be a huge milestone in life has just become unnecessarily stressful, even as a bride who plans way ahead of time. It's not so much about making the wedding date but the events and customer experience leading up to it. read more

I've been to 5+ bridal stores and tried on nearly 50 dresses throughout my dress search, and Dana at Miosa was by far the best consultant I worked with. Dana is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely knowledgeable about bridal gowns. I'm definitely a type A person and did a lot of research throughout the process, so I came in with endless questions about dresses, details, and customizations. Dana was so thorough and thoughtful with every question I had, taking the time to walk through each option with me and make sure I had all the information I needed to feel confident in my decision. She ultimately helped me narrow down my top two dresses and work through all the little details that mattered to me. She was also the first stylist I worked with who encouraged me to sleep on my decision rather than feeling pressured to buy, which I really appreciated. I ended up coming back and finding a completely different dress that I loved, and Dana was just as patient and helpful the second time around. I always felt like she was truly listening to what I wanted rather than trying to sell me a dress. Miosa itself is also such a beautiful shop. It's clean, pretty, well kept, and has a seemingly endless selection. They carry both newer styles and "out of season" dresses that I couldn't find at other bridal stores, which gave me so many more options to explore. The dresses are well maintained, and there were so many beautiful gowns to choose from. I actually came back to Miosa specifically to work with Dana, even though the store is nearly two hours away from me each way - and I would make the drive again without hesitation. We came earlier than our appointed time, but they were more than accommodating and had a VIP room ready for us. We had such an amazing experience with Dana. From the moment she walked into the room, we were immediately more excited and eased how anxious our bride was. Dana was very patient with all of us, and always had the best attitude with all of us. Our bride had a Pinterest board of the vision she was going for, and every dress Dana pulled was a hit. We probably "oooh"ed and "ahhhh"ed at every single one. Dana had her try on every kind of style close to the bride's vision "just in case". The whole experience was amazing. The host that took care of start finish listened to the brides wants and reviewed her file before the appointment. He worked his way through the looks leaving the best and final for last. The whole team that day gave awes for how amazing she looked. They even played a song for a practice walk. They clipped the dress so let me see the idea of how it will look when it's actually my size. I been to several many different places but Miosa bride did a great job. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel like other brides should know about my experience. I purchased my wedding dress from Miosa Bride because I thought it was a reputable place and I was hopeful for a good experience. I was told it would only take about two weeks to arrive. After I paid, I never received any updates. I eventually had to call them myself, only to find out that someone else had already purchased the dress and their inventory hadn't been updated. No one from the store reached out to let me know about the delay. I had to be the one to follow up every single time. I was then told my dress would arrive by mid-July. Mid-July came and went, so I called again. Then I was told it would be the end of July. At the end of July, their associate did end up reaching out and I was told the dress hadn't even shipped yet. Now it's August, and I'm being told it will be another 2-3 weeks. My wedding is in early October, and I should have already started alterations. Instead, I'm left wondering if my dress will even arrive in time. Even if it does, I'll likely have to rush alterations, which adds unnecessary stress during what should be an exciting time. What has been most frustrating is the lack of communication and accountability. At no point did anyone proactively update me. Every update came because I called them. When I expressed my concerns, the only solution they offered was that they would "keep an eye on it." That's not reassuring when you're talking about a wedding dress that cost thousands of dollars. They said there was nothing they could do pointed to their delivery policy, which says delivery dates are subject to change. However, all sales are final, leaving me in an impossible situation. If I decided I needed to find another dress because of these delays, I would be out thousands of dollars with no recourse. I was also disappointed with the VIP appointment experience. I paid an additional $200 expecting something special. Instead, we were served Kirkland brand champagne and Ritz crackers, and there wasn't even enough seating for everyone I brought. Some of my guests had to stand for the entire appointment even though they said they could accommodate for up to 10 people. It certainly didn't feel like a premium experience worth the extra cost. I understand that shipping delays can happen, but poor communication, missed timelines, and a lack of meaningful solutions are within the store's control. Brides already have enough to worry about without having to chase down updates on one of the most important purchases of their wedding. I really hope my dress arrives in time, but based on my experience so far, I can't recommend Miosa Bride. read more

After, multiple dress shops feeling defeated thinking I wouldn't be able to find my perfect dress, coming to Miosa Downtown Sac was all I could have ever asked for. I absolutely loved my dress itself - it was beautiful and exactly what I wanted - but the customer service at the shop made the experience unnecessarily stressful. The dress shopping day was great, and the stylist who helped me was wonderful. But once my gown arrived, everything went downhill during alterations. The shop repeatedly changed or miscommunicated my appointment times: I was originally scheduled for a 5 PM Friday appointment, which they moved to 3 PM the day before. When I said I couldn't make that time because of work, they asked me to come Saturday morning instead - only for my seamstress to tell me she had no idea about that change and that the front staff sometimes do that because they want to go home early. During my second alteration appointment, my mom and I had written down 2 PM (the time they verbally gave us in person), but the shop had 4 PM in their system. That mistake threw off my entire day. On top of that, issues I pointed out early on weren't fixed properly - the buttons for the bustle didn't fit in their loops and had to be repaired while I waited, and my off-the-shoulder strap that kept coming undone (which I mentioned multiple times) still wasn't corrected. This a late time coming but I want to share for future brides. My wedding was October 2025. I struggled searching for a wedding dress because I wanted a black one. I originally went to the Folsom location and they referred me to the Sacramento location. Since they have a wider variety. I thought it was fantastic and I was excited. My first appointment I found a dress that I loved but didn't say yes yet just cause I had other appointments and wanted to be 100% sure. I ended up coming back and saying yes to the dress. The team member that assisted me when I said yes however, I never saw them again after that day. For my future appointments for alterations or anything like that they were never there. My dress was not cheap and on top of that I added a lot of alterations on top. I added sleeves added boning and needed some trimming. At my first alterations appointment we went over everything I wanted regarding the cost of fabric, price of an underskirt, and alterations. We got the price and paid. 3 months later I got the call that my dress was ready. I thought it was pretty soon since my wedding was still a few months away. I went to go pick it up but when I try it on I realized some alterations that I had discussed with the seamstress weren't done ie adding boning. When I asked they told me they can't add it. I immediately get upset as we had already previously discussed adding it and already paid for it. After going back and forth, the seamstress agrees and says they will fix it and apologizes and says they will give me a complimentary steam for the dress so it's ready to go. I thank them and leave. Finally, when I pick up my dress, it's fixed like how I wanted but it was not steamed. I left anyways. Overall, it seems once they have your money they don't care about you as a customer anymore. Poor communication and they treat you like you're invisible. Customer service just turns poor after you say yes to the dress and I wouldn't recommend this place to others. read more

There were things that I loved about my top 3 choices, but some things that I wanted to change. Tiki told me that for my wedding dress, there were no compromises. I don't know if I'd recommend them because of their rude employee and because I spent money on something I didn't receive! I purchased my wedding dress here. I had a good first time experience when I purchased the dress with Tiki, the manager. I went back for a fitting and to be shown how to bustle the dress, which takes time. I was working with another lady but after we were there a little while (after having us wait), their employee ALYSSA rushed my friend and I out of their shop. She came in multiple times while I was trying to get dressed saying I can come back but I need to go and that I can try on jewelry during another date and make an appointment. She was very rude and disrespectful coming into the dressing room as I told her to wait because I was getting dressed. I'm not sure why she only rushed us out, but we were the only people of color there. She told me to leave my dress on the floor and she'd put it in the bag. I called to complain. Although they sounded apologetic and said they would call me back with solutions... the MANAGER, Tiki failed to call me back or address the issue further after he said he would. I spent thousands! When picking up the dress , I was also disappointed because I was told my dress would have the sleeves ordered with it, but when picked up they didn't have it so they threw in another pair that I couldn't even use since it was too small to hook onto my dress. No refund, no apologies. Good luck. They'll sound inviting at first , the issues seemed to come later. I'd try somewhere else where you can be comfortable and not rushed while you try to find your dress for one of your biggest days. Wedding planning is already stressful enough. Miosa was the third shop I visited and secretly felt like this was the least likely place I'd find a dress because I wanted to keep the cost low and I figured most of their dresses were probably outside of my budget. First positive point for Miosa was that they called in advance to understand what I was looking for - styles, size, budget, etc. I loved that they took the time to get to know my wants before I even got there. When I arrived I was introduced to Tiki. From the start he was amazing!!! He listened to what I was looking for and he immediately knew what I wanted. He went to get dressed and came back with several but said he had one he thought I would love and he was so right! It was everything I was looking for and I absolutely fell in love with the dress. I went with my friend, and after giving my budget to the stylist, she went to grab some dresses for me to try on. While, the interior of their shop is very pretty, we felt like the Stylist was a bit too pushy about the available options being limited due to my budget, timeline, and my smaller size. I spent nearly $4,000 on my dress/alterations and they don't store your dress for free. I've been holding onto my dress for 2 months and don't have extra closet space in my house, so this was a huge turn off. I bought a $25 rack off of Amazon and it's been hanging in my spare room exposed to the elements until my wedding next month. I had to take it back to the shop to get it steamed. I rescheduled twice due to rain and not wanting my dress to get ruined in the process. When it came time for my last appointment, parking downtown was a hit and miss. I parked 4 blocks away, had to carry my heavy ballgown to the store, walked in sweating, my arms hurting and was frustrated that the experience wasn't more pleasant. The day of, I was helped by Alex. He offered us mimosas and made my family and I feel so welcomed. He brought out several dresses for me to try, and saved the best for last after getting a feel for my likes and dislikes. The entire time he made me feel very comfortable and beautiful.
