We came earlier than our appointed time, but they were more than accommodating and had a VIP room ready for us. We had such an amazing experience with Dana. From the moment she walked into the room, we were immediately more excited and eased how anxious our bride was. Dana was very patient with all of us, and always had the best attitude with all of us. Our bride had a Pinterest board of the vision she was going for, and every dress Dana pulled was a hit. We probably "oooh"ed and "ahhhh"ed at every single one. My overall experience was great. My first appointment was fantastic, the alteration process was quick, and booking/rescheduling was easy; however, I give 4 stars due to the $250 storage fee. I spent nearly $4,000 on my dress/alterations and they don't store your dress for free. I've been holding onto my dress for 2 months and don't have extra closet space in my house, so this was a huge turn off. I bought a $25 rack off of Amazon and it's been hanging in my spare room exposed to the elements until my wedding next month. I had to take it back to the shop to get it steamed. I rescheduled twice due to rain and not wanting my dress to get ruined in the process. When it came time for my last appointment, parking downtown was a hit and miss. I parked 4 blocks away, had to carry my heavy ballgown to the store, walked in sweating, my arms hurting and was frustrated that the experience wasn't more pleasant. I don't know if I'd recommend them because of their rude employee and because I spent money on something I didn't receive! I purchased my wedding dress here. I had a good first time experience when I purchased the dress with Tiki, the manager. I went back for a fitting and to be shown how to bustle the dress, which takes time. I was working with another lady but after we were there a little while (after having us wait), their employee ALYSSA rushed my friend and I out of their shop. She came in multiple times while I was trying to get dressed saying I can come back but I need to go and that I can try on jewelry during another date and make an appointment. She was very rude and disrespectful coming into the dressing room as I told her to wait because I was getting dressed. I'm not sure why she only rushed us out, but we were the only people of color there. She told me to leave my dress on the floor and she'd put it in the bag. I called to complain. Although they sounded apologetic and said they would call me back with solutions... the MANAGER, Tiki failed to call me back or address the issue further after he said he would. I spent thousands! When picking up the dress , I was also disappointed because I was told my dress would have the sleeves ordered with it, but when picked up they didn't have it so they threw in another pair that I couldn't even use since it was too small to hook onto my dress. No refund, no apologies. Good luck. They'll sound inviting at first , the issues seemed to come later. I'd try somewhere else where you can be comfortable and not rushed while you try to find your dress for one of your biggest days. Wedding planning is already stressful enough. The whole experience was amazing. The host that took care of start finish listened to the brides wants and reviewed her file before the appointment. He worked his way through the looks leaving the best and final for last. The whole team that day gave awes for how amazing she looked. They even played a song for a practice walk. They clipped the dress so let me see the idea of how it will look when it's actually my size. I been to several many different places but Miosa bride did a great job. I absolutely loved my dress itself - it was beautiful and exactly what I wanted - but the customer service at the shop made the experience unnecessarily stressful. The dress shopping day was great, and the stylist who helped me was wonderful. But once my gown arrived, everything went downhill during alterations. The shop repeatedly changed or miscommunicated my appointment times: I was originally scheduled for a 5 PM Friday appointment, which they moved to 3 PM the day before. When I said I couldn't make that time because of work, they asked me to come Saturday morning instead - only for my seamstress to tell me she had no idea about that change and that the front staff sometimes do that because they want to go home early. During my second alteration appointment, my mom and I had written down 2 PM (the time they verbally gave us in person), but the shop had 4 PM in their system. That mistake threw off my entire day. On top of that, issues I pointed out early on weren't fixed properly - the buttons for the bustle didn't fit in their loops and had to be repaired while I waited, and my off-the-shoulder strap that kept coming undone (which I mentioned multiple times) still wasn't corrected. It ended up constantly falling off on my wedding day. The dress was beautiful - the service and attention to detail were not. read more

I went with my friend, and after giving my budget to the stylist, she went to grab some dresses for me to try on. You are not allowed to touch or look at the dresses yourself to pick what you want to try on since your Stylist grabs them herself. While, the interior of their shop is very pretty, we felt like the Stylist was a bit too pushy about the available options being limited due to my budget, timeline, and my smaller size. Miosa was the third shop I visited and secretly felt like this was the least likely place I'd find a dress because I wanted to keep the cost low and I figured most of their dresses were probably outside of my budget. When I arrived I was introduced to Tiki. From the start he was amazing!!! He listened to what I was looking for and he immediately knew what I wanted. He went to get dressed and came back with several but said he had one he thought I would love and he was so right! It was everything I was looking for and I absolutely fell in love with the dress. I don't know how he did it and so fast (it was only the second dress I tried at Miosa) but it was so perfect that I bought it. The building may look beautiful and upscale, but do not be fooled. The customer service needs work (especially the manager) and they only care about making a quick profit off of you. As a bride you are running high on emotions and they really made me feel pressured. At the end of the appointment, I did like one dress (flow) , but it was not the dress. I was crying due to my family being there but I kept hearing Jill say "she wants your approval". I took the bait and bought a dress. I was unsure about the fit after reviewing the pictures so I called to ask about the bust and the fit. Each time I called I was left with an unsettling sense of being a bother to them. I was finally able to speak to Jill after a little under two weeks - she was frustrated on the phone and the alterations did put my mind at ease a little bit but I still think the selection was not what I was looking for in the end. They all have an entitled personalities when speaking with customers on the phone. But when you are a new customer fresh bait they will treat you like a million dollars. Never once during our conversation when I was clearly in an unsure about the dress state of mind did they ask the question if I was happy with the selection. I was not happy with my selection in the end. The appointment felt rushed as the other reviewer stated. When we called to see if we can exchange the dress for something of same or greater value they said no. Then the manager told us well if you don't pay... it will go to our department, you know... she meant collections by the way. This isn't a money issue, this is taking advantage of bride's emotions and making sure the bride is happy and comfortable. We are now on the hook for a $2,000 dress. Fine but it was never about the money. Getting wedding dress at another wedding dress store. There are other stores in Sacramento and Bay Area that will put your mind at ease trust me. I'm from out of town, but a friend really recommended this shop so I was really excited to go. I got stuck in downtown traffic and I ran in about 13 minutes late, at 4:43. The shop has a 15 minute grace period. A gentleman, Alex, told me that I was too late and they would need to reschedule me since they close at 6. While I completely understand how frustrating it is to have someone be late, I was apologetic and explained that I came over 2 hours out of town and that I arrived within the grace period. I pleaded with him to let me try on some dresses and I would absolutely leave before 6pm. At that point, there was an hour and 15 minutes left in the appointment and I thought that was plenty of time, as my other bridal appointments at other shops have only been one hour long. I received a sarcastic "have you ever tried on dresses before?". It was a Friday afternoon and it honestly felt like the consultants just wanted to go home, especially because I was earlier asked to take an earlier appointment but could not because of work. He would not change his mind and we left. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. Just a little compassion would have been so appreciated as this should've been an exciting time for me, and I left in tears. I would hate for anyone else to feel this disappointed.
