Loove this store!! They have so many options for any occasion!! You won't leave here without a dress!! Great customer service!

We went to their Glamour Gowns location around the corner from this store. 3/14: We ordered a dress in store. They promised it would arrive in a week to a week and a half. 3/30: after hearing nothing , I went to their store to ask about the dress. They were unable to find that it was ever ordered. They let me know they would speak to their manager. They texted me the same day to let me know it would be in on Thursday (4/2). 4/3: on Friday I texted to find out if the dress had come in on Thursday. They assured me I could come pick it up later in the day. Then they sent a follow up text message saying that it wasn't in, but it would be there Monday (4/6) or Tuesday (4/7). 4/7: I texted to see what the status of the dress was. The owner called me and let me know that it would be in on Thursday. Prom is Saturday. I asked for a refund since prom is in a couple days and we have no dress, and that every other deadline had been missed. The owner refused saying she would only give me a refund if the dress did not get here in time for prom. She indicated that the prior dates I was given were by staff that did not have authority to give dates. She also indicated they did not give refunds, but I reminded her that she has my money and I have no dress. She still refused to refund me. I let her know I would call my bank to reverse the charges. She ended the call by telling me that she would reach out on Thursday to let me know I could pick up my dress. Update: 4/9: the owner texted me at 3:25pm letting me know the dress was available for pick up and offered to discount a third of the cost. I reiterated my request for a full refund since the transaction wasn't available to be completed until a day and a half before prom and in that time we had to get a new dress. I sent her a recap of the timeline and she responded saying "I completely understand and you're right, I would plead my case, but in the event to not further inconvenience you, we will just settle at a refund. Please provide the last four digits of the card used." I'm glad this is concluded and VERY glad to have my money back. read more

I went to find a dress for a banquet and the lady who helped me was super sweet. They had many different silhouettes to try from as well as the colors. They are also very organized, they have the dresses separated by colors and then by prices so you can find your style in your budget. They are priced pretty decently at less than $300 or $300+ depending on your event. She also helped me find my size and put some dresses on since some of them had to be tied or zipped up in the back. I recommend going on the weekdays if possible as they say weekends can have about 70 girls in there looking for prom season. The parking was a bit difficult as it's just the front row to park in so I had to loop around a bit. The sizes of the dresses do range, but because it's a small boutique, you may not find your desired style in your size. There's also the issue that while the sizes of the dresses go up, the cups for the dresses with the built in bra stay at cups B or A, so while the rest of you fit, the upper parts may not. These would require alterations. But otherwise, the styles are absolutely beautiful and it's worth a look in read more

My wife was looking for a dress and OMG did she find a beautiful dress. She newer did tell me the price , which says a lot but as soon as she put it on , it was all ok, she was stunning. The high quality and large selection was outstanding, Most importantly, she was happy, highly recommended read more

Very disappointed with the lack of service and professionalism at this store. I came in excited to find my prom dress, but the woman working there was dismissive and made no effort to help me. What stood out most was the clear difference in how I was treated compared to a white girl and her mom who walked in after me, the employee immediately became attentive and helpful with them. Meanwhile, I received no assistance while trying on dresses and felt overlooked. The contrast in treatment was uncomfortable and felt discriminatory. I would not recommend this place based on my experience. read more

Couture,"terrible quality, wrong sizing (often much larger than ordered), EXTREMELY SLOW SHIPPING almost a month to get the item. POOR customer service, and difficulty getting refunds, with customers feeling scammed, poor quality I mention receiving items that look nothing like the photos and being trapped by "no returns on sale" read more

CINDY is amazing!! I went in this past Friday looking for a dress for my daughter's wedding. I had to take time out of my day to write this review to let the owner know how WONDERFUL her employee, Cindy is! This young lady went above and beyond for me and I am so appreciative to see how a "young" lady showed such professionalism, SHE IS DESERVING OF A "RAISE". I have gotten employment for young people and trust me when I say this.....MANY young people do NOT care about their jobs, especially RETAIL and when you have someone like Cindy who is responsible, excellent customer service when NO ONE is around.....YOU SHOULD REWARD HER TO KEEP HER. Jus sayn! read more

I ordered several satin tops and they do not hang In front line photo shows . I spent $160 and cannot return because they say it was on sale. I paid $39.99 each. Don't waste your hard earned money on this company. read more

We came here in search of a prom dress for my daughter. They have a great selection of dresses, but I'd avoid coming on a busy weekend, as many dress styles will be sold out, not in store. My daughter fell in love with a dress here, and we were able to order it in her size. It's nice because they can help pin larger dresses to give you some sort of vision on what it would look like. The inconvenience of the parking was an issue, if you've been here, you know what I'm talking about. There isn't much parking in front of the boutique. The women who work here are very friendly and kind/patient. They understand this is an important time for our daughters and I get that because they take their time with everyone even as busy as they were. If you're looking for a dress, I'd definitely give them a try! read more

Me and my sister bought 4 dresses from here! We got our junior prom and senior ball dresses for a very fair price and they were absolutely gorgeous. For my senior ball dress they didn't have a size 0 and the smallest went to a 2 but the owner discounted us 50$ and recommended us her tailor mila. She charged us 60$ to go from a size 2-0 Amazing service and will continue to recommend people to come here They have such a wide selection for everyone read more

As I said from my review last year, I said that I've been coming to this place for years to get prom dresses. I returned once again this year after my friends sister got her dress here last year. Walked in expecting to be overwhelmed with beautiful dresses and service considering the store was empty. However it was quite the opposite. The quality of the dresses seemed incredibly low from last year despite the $500+ price tags. On top of that the lady was paying more attention to the maintenance men/coworkers than us a returning customer. Very hesitant to help us with anything, including zipping up my friends sisters dress while I was in bathroom, she even said "I'm going to need two hands" and walked away. Regardless of them being floor samples, the dresses were snagged, had pilling, and felt cheap despite the prices seeming to be raised. I'm very happy that we took our business and our money elsewhere. read more

Yolanda the owner is extremely nice and wow on the selection of dresses. If she doesn't have it in the store, she definitely can order it online if they still make it. Some of the dresses are from sizes 0-XXXL. The store doesn't do alterations but Yolanda does work with someone. The dresses are priced reasonably read more

I purchased my wedding dress from this location. I must say that Yolanda was great. She's very knowledgeable in the dresses she has available and she actually knew exactly what I was lookin for when I had came into her shop looking for my dress. Though it needed to be ordered the turn around time was perfect. I ended up purchasing my bridesmaids dresses from her as well. The only reason I did not give a five star review was Yolanda was away and Stephanie was covering the shop while she was away. When I had came in to try my dress on and also have my bridesmaids try on a few dresses we felt Stephanie was very short with us and not very helpful. The service you receive from Yolanda is much more professional. I almost considered going elsewhere to purchase our bridesmaids just because of how unhelpful Stephanie was. But on the other hand we wanted to do business with a smaller boutique and since I fell in love with my dress at this boutique we decided we would go ahead and proceed with purchasing all dresses. I did have one small flaw with my dress that Yolanda did have take care of at no charge to me. The parking is very limited and the shop is small but I wouldn't pass it up on taking a peak to see if your dream dress might be inside! read more

Last year I started my search for a wedding dress. At first I went to Davids bridal and tried on a couple "real" wedding dresses. They all seemed to be very bulky , heavy and expensive. After that, my friend took me to haute house couture. Haute house had a lot of dresses as well. I tried on a couple wedding dresses there too and I realized I'm not a wedding dress type. My friend spotted a beautiful gown... grabbed it.. and I tried it on. It was a size 6 and I could not close the back, but I fell in love. Thankfully Yolanda, the owner was able to order the dress for me from the Jovani catalog. I ordered a size 8 and went on my way. The dress came in and I went down to try it on. The only concern was the difference in the amount of fabric at the bottom of the dress going from a size 6 to a size 8. It was very heavy and dragging all over the floor. Yolanda directed me to her alteration lady. Anna, the alteration lady cut off the bottom of the dress to my liking. Before the final alteration, I noticed a small hole in the mesh which I pointed out to Anna. She safety pinned it and said she would fix it. On my wedding day I put the dress on and surprise! The safety pin was still on the dress and so was the hole .. unsatisfied with that experience, I didn't let it ruin my wedding day. But it would have been nice if it had been repaired considering how much fabric was removed, there had to be extra laying around to fix this .. Bottom line is I was more than happy with my dress and the service I received from the owner of haute house couture!! Yolanda, the owner is a sweetheart and I got so many compliments on my special day. I highly recommend haute house couture! read more

** update ** I bought my wedding dress here and it was perfect for my bohemian/rustic style wedding!! ****** I've been looking for my wedding dress for a while! I went to at least 6 stores in the Sacramento area and could not find anything. Then I came across HH. The owner Yolanda is amazing. From my first visit, she has been so friendly and helpful. She has amazing wedding dresses at great prices! I've visited the store a few times and made multiple calls regarding the dress and she's been helpful each and every time. She also has cute prom dresses!! I wish I knew about this place when I was in high school. Overall, definitely a great boutique! read more

We got there a few minutes after opening and picked out some dresses for my daughter to try on. At that time, no wait for a dressing room. I kept taking my daughter dresses so she could try on and not lose the room. We found a beautiful dress and we' paid and out in about an hour. My only wish is that the place was bigger. It got very busy and there was quite a line for the fitting rooms as we were leaving. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made sure to keep taking dresses back from the fitting rooms to the floor sot hat others had a chance to see the dresses. read more

Super people working there ! The owner is a God sent saint . My granddaughter bought a showroom dress with out inspecting it needless to say after dozens of girls trying it on it had seams that were pulled apart and dirty. This place is the best that I've been to!! We had gone to many stores, and finally came across this gem. They have a huge assortment of dress for any occasion. (We were looking for senior ball) there are different catalogs to also choose from as well. She has an assortment of sizes and many different colors. The dresses are all registered, so your not going to show up at your school and someone has the same dress.....at least if your purchasing here ;) As you should ...The prices are right! The staff are very friendly!! They treat you nice, give input, and are very helpful. We found a dress that we loved, and she was able to order it for us. She also has an outlet down the street that is equally wonderful. read more

This place is definitely a hidden little gem... The owner Yolanda and her staff were very helpful and patient with my daughter and I while we scavenged through (what felt like) thousands of dresses for her junior prom. Yolanda carries a large selection of JOVANI dresses ANNND.... She gave me a nice little discount because I purchased her floor sample. I appreciate that Yolanda wasn't pushy and allowed my daughter and I to take as much time as we needed (1 week to be exact) to make our final decision. She even gave us her cell number! My only recommendation for this boutique would be to expand a little to allot space for bigger fitting rooms. It would have also been nice to shop for dresses in a "showroom-like" atmosphere allowing our prom queens to model the dresses for us moms. Not much room for that... But overall, our experience was a great one and we will be back next year for senior prom and any other formal events calling for royal attire! read more

Came here to shop for Bridesmaid dresses which was a success. We found the perfect dress we were looking for by Jessica Angel. I was so impressed with their inventory for different events like Gala's and Prom. I decided to come back to find a formal gown for a GALA out of town and fell in love with the first dress I tried on. I actually found a dress in my size that fit perfectly. What I really like is that you can order your size in almost any dress that they have in store which would shipped in 2 weeks or so. The owner and Staff were very helpful and kind. I plan to come here for my daughters prom and any future formal dress shopping. read more

Drove 2 hours from Reno to go prom dress shopping here for the first time because I've seen it online. There was very little selection on the racks and when I found a couple dresses the sweetest worker Sophia helped me get a dressing room and put the dresses in there for me. I went in and there was water leaking from the roof onto me while I was trying dresses on. There was no mirror in the fitting room so you have to come out and look in the mirror which seems common so it wasn't a big deal but there was around 20 people in front of the mirrors so it was not a good shopping experience overall. When I came out I handed the dresses to the owner named Yolanda who was EXTREMELY rude. I gave her the dresses and said "I'm sorry they didn't really fit me and this one kind of fit but I felt like it was a little to long." She looks me up and down and goes "They're all like that, you have to get them hemmed," and rolled her eyes then scoffed and said, "Are you done with your fitting room?" Some people don't have money to spend 200 dollars to get a dress hemmed on top of the 400 average price of the dress. Be more mindful of people who have all had different experiences in life and haven't had the chance to go prom shopping! read more

This place has a variety of dresses ranging from pricey to pricier. The store itself is a little dark and the atmosphere is not the cheeriest but if looking for a unique dress for a special occasion this place might work for you. Customer service is not that great. We asked one lady a few questions and she was super brief and not at all friendly. Maybe the owner? Maybe an employee that had one of each and can't be bothered? Maybe they sell so much that my one dress purchase would be insignificant? Who knows. Besides the unfriendliness, there really were a lot of choices. Lots and lots of beautiful dresses. We had a list of places to check out and found what we were looking for elsewhere but this place is definitely worth checking out. read more

Owner inconsiderate of time. Stood ready for check out for 30 minutes. Timed. She was in the back steaming a dress. When we told her we were ready to purchase, she had us wait until she was finished steaming the ball gown. She was unhelpful and not accommodating when asking for different sizes while in the dressing room. Sizes in the store at the time we're XS. Owner was the only one working the store with dressing rooms full. This business would run smoother if there were more employees to accommodate the needs of its customers. Only good thing was that the dress that was purchased cannot be purchased by anyone else to wear to the same prom. read more

Haute House Couture is awesome! They are welcoming and friendly and they make you feel comfortable. They also take track off who has the same dress from you from your school. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a dress in the Sacramento area. They're fast on shipping and have a wide variety on styles! Check out :) read more
