I love supporting WEAVE due to their mission in supporting the community. I wish the donation hours were more generous but again grateful for their contributions to those that benefit from their services. Dropped off several bags of clothes and a bag of home goods to Louie, who greeted, swiftly helped me and shared some helpful information. Inside I met Mike as I was browsing the store. Mike share the days current sales and some other happenings. I guess I hadn't paid attention in the past, but noticed the store has a men's section which is nice. There is a children's section in the back of the store in an adjacent room. For women WEAVE has the full gamut from under garments to casual wear, business wear, leisure clothing and gala/ball gowns as well as a hefty selection of shoes. read more

They have lots of clothing and accessory options. There's even A high end fashion section. The items are affordable. They also buy your new and used items. I've been several times to sell clothing and accessories, and although I stick to the things that they suggest, they never buy my items. So good luck with that part. I've heard from others that it's hard to sell stuff there. But otherwise it's a cool place if you like thrifting. read more

I came to drop off items for their donation center which is next door at 2409 Arden Way. It was an easy process and the staff are friendly. They accept donations Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:30am - 1:30pm and select Saturdays (more info on their website for specific dates). It's recommended to call in advance for large amounts of clothes donations (916-643-4606). I didn't get the chance to check out the thrift store but I'll be sure to next time. Nice selection of career clothing, trendy styles. Plus, jewelry, men's clothing, and a separate area in back for boys & girls clothes, infant & toddlers too! I actually came here to drop off clothes. They're very limited all the hours they could do.. when I went to the back the lady opened the door and asked me when I was here for it. I said to donate clothes and she said oh we'll do that two days a week during these times. It just didn't make any sense to me give it the fact if you're a thrift store waiting for people to donate to you you would think that people would want to be open. I didn't know the drop off hours, showed up and could see people in the back working so I drove around the back to drop off a trunk load of items, not clothes, donated by state workers and I came from Dixon to pick the items up and deliver. The lady working totally ignored me and never even looked my way in hopes of no communication so I asked if she was trying to ignore me. She said she thought I was a worker there, but there were only her and a guy so I think she was plain rude. Then I talked to the young man who acted like I should return because they were too busy. You know, I should've taken all the kitchen items people took time to find, purchase and donate to somebody appreciative. There's still another load to deliver and I suggested they find somewhere who is appreciative. The young man finally agreed I could unload once I told him I was going to help. read more

WEAVEWorks is my go to thrift store in Sacramento. I first discovered TRUE in Midtown when I first started thrifting. I later realized they had a sister location in Arden. Now, I go to both on a regular basis, but I prefer the Arden location. The store is big and spacious without being overwhelming. They have a great selection of clothing, shoes and accessories for women, men and children. It feels more like a boutique than a thrift store. It doesn't have that stale smell that some used clothing stores have. The quality of the items are really good as well as the selection. I've gotten some really great deals here, especially when they have specials. Usually the last weekend of the month, the entire store is half off. The prices are already great so these days are an even bigger bargain. I'm a plus size gal so trying to find clothing in my size is always a challenge. I've been able to find a good selection at both WEAVEWorks and TRUE, which is a rare feat. I also LOVE shoes and handbags and have discovered some fantastic deals. I love designer handbags and have scored amazing vintage Coach, Kate Spade and Michael Kors purses along with wallets too. They do a good job in letting you know what are real and what are knockoffs. They usually keep the real items up front at the register or at the counter. That is usually my last stop before checking out. If that doesn't convince you to drop everything and go right now, the proceeds from the shops go directly to WEAVE, an organization that provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse in Sacramento. This is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. WEAVE takes donations by appointment. Call their main number to make arrangements. **During Quarantine Review: April 2021** During this visit all blue tags were 50% off, jeans were 30% off, and they also had a $1.98 rack of misc clothes. There's two racks of men's clothing, and the vast majority of items were colorful and trendy clothes for women. The pricing was fair and ranged from $5-$10 a piece (obviously they have $10+ items) and while I didn't end up purchasing anything here, I think the fashion here appeals to the young-mid-age working woman. They have a wide array of pants, collar shirts, sleeveless tops, skirts, dresses etc. that would appeal to the 20s, 30s, and 40s age group. This little shop is conveniently located straight on Arden Way with adequate parking and easy access. It's a hit or miss (as it is with every thrift store) when visiting but most times, there will be something nice to find. There are plenty of nice business clothes and thick coats to pick from and sizing is rarely an issue as they have so much on hand. Staff is friendly and happy to assist when needed, and it's convenient that they also have small shopping carts available for use. I've found a couple of great quality dress clothes that I'll be able to wear long-term and always look forward to my next visit! read more

Today I was with my 11 months old and he started to be fussy at the register so of course I decide to nurse him... immediately the lady at the register told me that next time I need to go inside of the dressing room... like "whaaaatt??"
