This was my first time visiting Upscale Thrift and it is located near Freeport and Broadway. I loved this thrift store! I came in looking for something specific, which they unfortunately did not have, but I did end up finding a really nice glass bowl and glass jars for my sourdough bread baking era! They had so many beautiful glass items plus clothes, toys, jewelry, etc. Staff were very friendly and even let me know about their other location that might have had the specific items I was looking for. Most of the items were fairly priced - I even bought a fun pair of sunglasses for my daughter for like $5! If you like thrift shopping, I would definitely suggest checking out Upscale!

Busy, frequent visited location that had security standing at the front door. You can find new , used and gently used items of all sorts here. Once I was done with my shopping I waited in line for less than 5 minutes and reached a self check out option only. Bags are not automatically provided. I just neatly folded my items and placed receipt on top. If I recall there was music overhead. Prices are of each range affordable to moderate again with some items brand new if you search long enough. The parking lot is pretty large, as well as the potholes around the lot as well. My guy is tall, so we have a harder time. I also always check for blankets & fabric, as well as office supplies. Yep, for my home office. The outside area is an adventure, you never know what you will find. A few weeks ago I came for shorts and found a painting! I used to find great clothes, but sadly Deseret is getting so much "plastic" donations. Shein is taking over. I sew, so I would always find some great pieces to alter to my size & liking. The mens section is still good, but the womens is thin. Parking is always easy. The store is very clean, and Managers are very approachable for questions & pricing (the ladies, the men always seem stressed out and not so approachable. Just my opinion). The prices have gone up a little, but are still very good. My daughter lives in LA, and we always stop in when she is here. A Sacramento gem.

They are located in a fairly busy shopping center, so the parking lot feels pretty cramped. However, you should have no problems finding a spot. Another thing to note is that during the majority of my visits, I do not have a shopping cart because they are so scarce. It is a good size store, not too small but not very big. They have the isles easily organized by item and size. The isles can get a bit tight when you are trying to get by other shoppers. Their furniture and shoe areas are my favorite because they have lots of stock in those. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful as well. It's overall a very promising thrift store. I've found some really cool pieces for great prices!
