I was only partially happy with the alteration job I received. The ruffles on the chest of the dress were wavy, so I brought the dress in to have the shoulders lifted because it pulled the ruffles more taught and I am quite short. When I came back to try on, they were much better but still not great, as shown in the image. When I went to check out, I noticed a splotch on the shoulder of the dress on the sleeve. VERY small. When I asked her about it, she said it wasn't there before (which tells me that it happened in the shop, which it did). However she did not offer to dry clean it or try to get the stain out. Reasonably priced. I drove from one hour away just to come to Mila because I trusted her with both of my wedding gowns. She allowed me to try them on and gave me her professional feedback on places to tighten, cut or to just leave along due to delicate lace stretching out. I don't have all of my photos back yet but with my lace dress she added another part to the neck portion to cover more of my neck and it was soo divine. I felt like a queen. She is superb. I came in with two suits, on a Hart Schaffner New York fit, which was easier, the other a Brooks Brothers I was about to get married in! I ordered their BB's "Regent" fit, which is described as slim (I only wear Milano in their shirts) and it was too big everywhere in the jacket. Regent is not slim! Beautiful Alterations turned both those suits into exceptional fits. Sleeve width, body, even shoulders. I'm not simple: 42R with a (then, hah) 32/33 waist. A lot of lat taper. I think she shortened the distance between both sets of shoulders, which is not easy. They rock right now at a perfect 18in. Anyway, on time, my suits looked, and look, bespoke. I cannot speak highly enough of BA. Cash or Venmo, as I recall, but worth every cent. read more

I messaged them immediately and got a fast response (in fact, they're the ones who are more communicative). The owner updated me about their upcoming hours and told me when I could get my gown. She finished it before the expected time. Best of all, customer service is *chef's kiss!* Stop looking anywhere; the best alterations store is on Auburn Blvd, and the service is bang for your buck! I work retail, and during the holidays especially my time is not my own. I work long hours with no set schedule. I used my one day off (Wednesday) to get a jacket tailored for the upcoming appointment (Monday). I called Beautiful Alterations to see if they could get jacket fitted in that time frame and they said it could be done by Saturday. That in itself was great service! Come Saturday I could not get off work within business hours. My appointment Monday was at 10:00, and so I planned to get to shop by 8:00 when they opened. I realized on Monday around 7:00 when I was getting address pulled up that they did not open until 10:00. I did something very entitled of me looking back, I called the number and asked if someone could meet me at shop early to get me the jacket and I would pay extra. The owners realized the urgency of the appointment I had and one of them came early to give me the jacket. I made a mistake and put them out, and they were incredibly generous to take time that they didn't have to to help me. This went above and beyond service. On a human level it was very very kind.
