My husband brought in 3 small military rank patches (2 inch squares) to be sewed onto 3 different items (cap, coat x2) and this place totally botched it...Patches were not sized right, edges weren't straight, wrong stitching color, stitching uneven, and rank on cap was totally crooked...in addition they charged $86.52 to have it be done in a week. He had to take it to a nearby tailor that same day to fix it and they only charged $36 to reverse their work and do it perfectly THE NEXT DAY. I called this company because I needed some hemming and logos put onto blankets for my business, and they said no problem. I lost over a thousand dollars in product because they cut blankets short and also the wrong direction. All this after they doubled the cost they initially promised to me. This place is a joke. I gave them a skirt for alteration and I specifically told them that it needs to be tightened 2 inches. I was in a rush and didn't try the skirt when I picked it. Later on, when I tried it at home it was still loose about an inch. I went back to the store and the lady asked me to pay again in order for them to hem it again. Mind you I paid a rush fees to get it altered the first time close to $100 (for a skirt..$$$) I would never give my business to this place again. There are many other tailoring services near by. Also, this time in never asked for any rush services and she still try charging me $103 to be exact!!! read more

This place did an amazing job on my nephew's suit jacket!! We originally went in to shorten the sleeves but after the woman in the front put in the pins and made it more custom with not only shortening the sleeves, but pulling in the back of the jacket to be a tighter fit she made a cheap suit off of Amazon look like a high priced designer suit. The alterations were definitely more pricey than what we were expecting but the outcome was definitely worth it. The suit was around $80 but the alterations costed $160-ish. Overall the time frame was 2 weeks exactly from the day of drop off and fitting to when we picked it up. It was worth it to come here. read more

These people are literally AMAZING! I've gone to them in the past as well as my husband. We both have had great experiences. But it was my experience today that just really blew me away. I had a vintage top that needed a quick fix. Some stitching had come undone on part of the shirt where there is a kangaroo pocket attached. I knew this likely required a machine because of the kind of stitching it was. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a sweet gal and explained the situation. She took my shirt to the back where she exited my view. I assumed she was consulting with the seamstress about how to fix it and price. She came back up about 2-3 mins later and said "ok, it's done". I was shocked! I couldn't believe that had already fixed it! I asked how much I owed and she said no don't worry about it. I kept asking to pay and she didn't want me to. The kindness and generosity was unreal. I know it was just a simple fix for them, but they didn't have to do it for free like that, yet they chose to. They've earned my business for life! I got in over my head trying to make my daughter a ball gown from a vintage Vogue pattern and Four Seasons saved the day! I made a prototype gown out of white cotton as a test and realized my skills weren't equal to make the finished product in satin. We took the pattern and the fabric in at the peak of the wedding season, their busiest time of year, but they accommodated us. They quoted a price, promised it would be done in four weeks, and two fittings and four weeks later, we left with a dress that fit like a glove and exceeded our expectations. Had a wedding dress altered, it needed taken in quite a bit and a 3 button bustle. Was ready when she said it would be and the actual fit was amazing! 3 stars instead of 5 because when we picked up there was a loose button that I pointed out to have fixed and she did it no problem. Once we took it home it had several saggy buttons and a lot of just thread sticking out that we had to look over and trim them all. Day of wedding the very top hook and loop above the zipper, broken stitch, had to sew while bride was wearing it. then bustled the dress , walked right onto dance floor for one dance, and one of the strings for the bustle broke! Had to sew right there while bride was standing. another 30 minutes and ANOTHER string that held bustle broke, bride had to end up holding back of dress with her hand for the rest of night. I understand the time and skill it takes to take in a dress on both sides hems and back zipper which was great, it's these few small things that caused stress on wedding day that could have potentially been avoided. paid $645 if wondering price. read more

In the last 6 months I have brought 4 pieces of clothing to be hemmed. All 4 times I got home and tried them on to wear and they were not hemmed. I had to drive all the way back to tell them. With the first trip I brought the 2 pairs of jeans. They apologized and said they would get it done in a week. Went back, tried them on at the store and still were not right. She then told me that people are wearing jeans dragging on the floor and I should wear it like that. Next I brought 2 dresses. Same thing. I tried on at the store before leaving still too long. $52 for each dress hemmed and it wasn't done. When I told her it was still too long and she didn't do it right she said fine but I have to charge you $19 in addition! This place is not the same as it was when Marianna owned it. I almost walked out when I got the quote, not because it was unreasonable, but it was just out of my budget. They told me that they would work with me on the cost as well, because they could not let me walk down the aisle with the dress as it was. It was shapeless and the sleeves were too long and poofy. We have been coming here for a while, we live in West Roseville, The last experience was horrific, my husband wanted an expensive pair of designer jeans hemmed, Everything was marked and we came back a week later, they had cut his jeans way too short and it was not an original hem as we were changed for. I said what can you do these are ruined, "we fix" They came out and handed us the pants in a bag...we looked at the work in the car and we were shocked they had sewn a piece of jean material to make it longer.
