She has fixed several of our high end sleeping bags; saving us a bundle by just replacing the zippers. Over the years she has done quality repairs, tailoring & alterations. Quality work; fair pricing. She is also a lovely human! read more

Ever since I was recommended this place I've never went anywhere else. The staff here are feet friendly courteous and efficient. They have done an excellent job with every single one of my items of clothing, mostly pant hemming. The pricing is also definitely fair for the services I've requested. I'd definitely recommend this place! read more

Vali's Alterations & Cleaners - Ladies here are amazing! - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Rocklin, California

Vali and the employees here are delightful. I go here to get my garments dry cleaned and I am satisfied with the results. They also do alterations but I haven't experienced that side of the business yet. Vali is such a sweet woman with decades of experience in alteration so I would trust her and her team for quality alteration in the future! read more

I'm genuinely saddened to write this review. I trusted Valis with my $3,000 custom Indo-Western wedding gown and spent nearly $1,000 on alterations with them. The gown was made to order overseas, and I thoroughly inspected it upon arrival-it was in perfect condition. Unfortunately, after taking it to Valis for adjustments, we received the skirt back discolored and burnt. It was very clear that the damage was caused by improper steaming. The most upsetting part wasn't just the damage-it was that they refused to take responsibility and instead tried to claim it was already in that condition. No apology, no accountability, and to make matters worse, they still charged us an additional $300 right before we left. For anyone with high-value or sentimental garments, l urge you to take them elsewhere. read more

Vali and her team are amazing! They are welcoming, professional, and detailed - they take their work seriously and give each customer their attention. The cost is pricey and some customers that have been loyal for years have a significant discount, but the service is unmatched. read more

This place is wonderful. Altered son's uniform and they did a great job. Left room to grow while still making the pants fit great.

Are you looking for a team who wants to get your clothing looking perfect? Vali's is by far the best! We took our wedding suit and dress in after reading the reviews. They took my fiancé's dress from something she was ok with and made it into something she fell in love with and we agreed was absolutely perfect! The ladies in there are meticulous in their work and even more engaged in helping you look great and leave ecstatic. They give amazing recommendations and have a great eye for how things will look on you. They are all genuine and lovely and truly felt like they were our biggest supporters. My suit turned out wonderfully. We were so impressed and we will be customers for life, including the daughter's wedding dress for next year! They altered, cleaned and pressed our outfits and did everything for a reasonable price. If I would have paid even more, I would have still been so happy with their service and work! They are wonderful people! Thank you! read more

They will ruin your clothes. They can't even hem your pants, one side is longer than the other. My dresses were ruined to the point they can't go back to fix it. This is a cleaning service, not professional tailors if you have low expectations. They overcharged for their mediocre service. read more

They altered a second dress for me and it is perfect! I highly recommend Vali's. Their work is amazing. I felt stunning thanks to Vali's! read more

Vali's alterations saved the day! I took my bridesmaid dress to another place and let's just say, I am not a seamstress and I could have done better. So I took my dress to Vali's two days before I needed it done, and they not only fixed the dress, but they were so incredibly sweet. The owner even stayed two hours past closing to finish my dress in time, had me try it on and make sure it was correct, and was so happy she could help. She was incredibly sweet and focused on quality work. I felt so bad about bringing my dress in to have rushed alterations considering they are so busy, but they were so happy to help and I appreciated it so much! Overall a great experience and will be going here for all future alterations. read more

The service was okay. Some of the shirts didn't seem pressed very well. I will go somewhere else.

Top notch work, attention to detail and quality alterations - when it's important and needs to be right - go to Vali's! Been a customer for more than a decade - highly recommend. It is pricey, but for suits and slacks I won't go anywhere else. read more

Very good service and friendly too...prices are decent too...a little hidden from street..highly recommended!

Wow! I came here about a week and a half before my wedding day with a dress that was already altered but didn't quite fit 100% perfectly. I was hopeful they could do something, and they knew exactly what to nip in and take out to make my dress feel perfect for me. It was the best money I spent, looking back at the pictures. I would have been so disappointed if I didn't go to Vali's. Thank you so much to Vali and her team for working so quickly and expertly to help me on my big day. read more

Vali is an all-around gem of a person! She altered my wedding dress, several casual dresses and pairs of pants, and more recently, a bridesmaids dress for a wedding I was in, in July, that needed to be taken out two sizes. She's a genius-seamstress, kind, and reasonably priced! read more

If I could give more stars I would. It's hard to find a good (great) seamstress. You can trust Vali and her team. They tailored my wedding dress. Yes it was worth the money. They added bra, hemmed it and added a slit. Even flipped the upside down strap the manufacturer messed up. They also put together a custom vest for my husband and son. The turn around time is great. The prices are more than fair. I tell everyone about them. read more

We took my daughters wedding dress to Vali to be altered after receiving it and it being too large and the bodice too low. Vali basically had to remake the dress 3 weeks before the wedding. After meeting with Vali the first time she relieved us of all the stress we were having and assured us the dress would be perfect and altered in time. She did a fantastic job! The dress fit perfect! read more

Had three high end suits altered with perfect results. You can't tell they were altered. So I started having them to dry cleaning. Again good results. Always friendly and keep their promises. read more

I took my bridesmaid dress here to be altered. Not sure who did the measurements for me but she was awesome! Made me feel super comfortable and assured me that my dress was a perfect choice for my body. She was full of compliments. She gave me options on how I wanted it to be altered and showed me what it'd look like each way, while giving me her professional opinion. I think she ended up giving me a good deal but I ended up paying $75 for all the alterations. I wasn't in a rush to get it back so it was ready for me a week later. The dress came out perfect! I would definitely come back here in the future if I ever need more alterations done! Beautiful place, beautiful work and very friendly employees! Thank you! read more

I took my mother-of-the bride dress to Valis for alterations. A few days later I received a call that my dress couldnt be completed because the owner and 3 of her seamstresses were very ill with COVID. When I received that call I was already developing symptoms and I too tested positive, and my husband and I were unable to attend our daughter's long awaited wedding and reunion of friends and family. I learned that the owner and seamstresses were unvaccinated, and no masks were being worn when I went in. This is total negligence and I as avaccinated person wonder how many other brides and their families were impacted by this toxic business. Warning, stay away from this place. read more

I paid almost $60 for 3 pairs of pants and 2 out of 3 were awful. There was a hole in 1 that wasnt there before. In the other 1 it was the same length as when i took them in! read more

I love Vali! Shes so helpful and so nice honestly you couldn't find anyone better! She helped modify my engagement dress by making it more into a sweetheart neckline, adding a belt, and making the sleeves a little bit longer.. I honestly couldn't be happier! The women at Vali's are AMAZING!! You would be amazed at what these women can make happen! Four days before my friends wedding, I realized my bridesmaid dress would not zip and I needed it to be let out. I went to Vali's on a Tuesday, and within ten minutes they had my problem figured out and I left feeling so relieved. The ladies worked their magic and were able to add fabric to the sides of my dress, in order to give me more room. AND the dress was ready two days later. These ladies defiantly saved me and they were so sweet!! When I tried my dress on the two women helping me were so excited for me and made me feel beautiful. The fabric they added is not even noticeable with my arms down which I appreciated! Thanks ladies!! read more
