Before coming in, I called to make sure they had experience sewing patches on a military uniform. They said yes, that they did it all the time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My husband brought in his uniform, patches, and printed out the specific instructions for them to use.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I go to pick his uniforms up a few days later and my husband tells me that it's been done wrong. They sewed his name patch ON the pocket flap when the instructions specified that it belongs ABOVE the pocket flap. No branch of the military has the name patch sewn on the actual flap which led me to believe that they in fact did not have experience with military uniforms. They also cut the name patch incorrectly so it's no longer usable. We had to order new ones which cost $20, and they were back ordered. Great. We ended up getting a partial refund from the business, but were not reimbursed for the name patches. I'm sure this business does well with dresses and suits, but I'd probably go somewhere else for military uniforms, especially when you brought in a physical copy of instructions on where the patches go, that they didn't even look at. read more

My wedding dress boutique did not offer in-house alterations, but I was provided a list of preferred vendors. After multiple attempts at communicating with those preferred vendors, there was 1 viable choice, but it was overpriced for what I needed and she ended up leaving me hanging on appointment availability anyway. Once that happened I took it upon myself to go on Yelp and find alternative solutions. Out of the next 2-3 choices I ventured out to, Nadia was the one I opted for because she was straight forward and was the only one who offered me 2 different bustle options - American (over) bustle or ballroom (under bustle). As a bonus, she was also 1/3 of the price of the wedding dress boutique's preferred vendor! She is a miracle worker!! I bought a wedding dress in June 2023, and met with Anha in July. We developed a plan for fitting the dress, but by the time November rolled around, Anha was no longer owner. I was a bit nervous about the change but Nadya is AMAZING!! I shared that I originally bought the dress during the summer but found out I was pregnant for my wedding in April 2024. Her response was "we are going to make it work!". And she did just that!! She changed it to corset-tie back, added straps, let out the dress quite a bit in all areas and hemmed for me. She was careful and precise so the dress is full beading. I was in need of getting 11 jeans hemmed and 1 sweat pant hemmed. Anha gave a reasonable price. But oddly charged tax. Maybe I am originally from the bay area and none of the alterations I've been to in the past charged tax. Why so many jeans? I've been getting my jeans altered with the original for $15 in SF. Hem is $10. I waited and did a lot of research before deciding where to go. I am very meticulous with stitching especially if it is particular brand name jeans. After 3 consultations and price quotes. Anha stood out for me. So we decided to give her shop a try. Do keep in mind that Anha usually prefer "by appointment only" but was nice to take my husband same day. As we got inside she told us the price and ask us what we wanted. We got all our jeans hemmed instead of keeping the original because we had a lot of jeans and thinking getting hemmed would be much easier for her. She asked us to try the jeans on. I know my size because all my jeans are between 27"-28". My jeans are long from 29"-31". My hubs had his measured to his old jeans. Luckily Anha told me the sweat pants are diff measurements from jeans and had me try on my sweats and pinned my length for me. I thank her for her recommendation. She said we can pick up Sunday. Hubs said we can pick up Monday after his work. He should be here around 11:45-12pm. Monday he went there and she was not at the store. She informed hubs that she text that it had to be delayed till tomorrow but I didn't receive any text. She realized she texts the wrong number. Next day pick up she was running late. I said "oh no" she's finishing up a few jeans. I was worried that it was rushed and the stitches would be crooked. I was right. I was upset. Two of my jeans weren't even cut to 28" inch. When I measured it. It was the same length! 30" and another pant that was cropped was not altered at all. Very dishonest. All in all. My 3 jeans were are different lengths. Only one jean that was 28" and the sweat pant was good. If she needed more time, I wouldn't have an issue with it. Just text me and let me know. The stitches was very poorly executed but some of her other hemmed pants like my hubs, were good. Time management is important and being punctual is a must but I am understanding, if more time is needed. I am willingness to wait. read more

After getting quotes over $2,000 for my wedding dress to be altered I went to Anha who provided a WAY more reasonable price to alter my dress. I was skeptical since it was my wedding dress and there were a lot of intricate alterations to be done. Anha assured me she could do it and made me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands (I was really worried). After a few different appointments, Anha finished my dress and it was beyond perfect. Not one thing was wrong with the dress. She took the torso in on a lace/beaded dress which I was told was impossible by some, she added straps, cups, and a bustle and made shortened it (with MANY layers).
