Really happy I checked Yelp before I chose a tailor to alter my new dress. The sleeves kept falling off my shoulders and her fix to remove some of the material and add a grippy strip was perfect. The other reviewers are absolutely correct; I was very happy with the finished product and she even offered a suggestion to shorten the length of the sleeves - which was a good move. In fact I just dropped off another dress for a minor alteration because I was so happy with the work. She offered to do it the same day, so if you're in a hurry you're in luck! After having had a wonderful first experience with this company, I'm praising them yet again! This time I arrived with some pants that needed tightening around the waist. So I'm packing my bags getting ready for a flight to florida to attend my son's wedding when I realized I never got the slit sewn up on my dress. I panicked thinking, well let me get the sewing kit. I quickly realized this wasn't gonna work. I called Top Alterations and a sweet woman answered, I believe she's the owner Nadia, but not sure. She could hear the panic in my voice because this slit is upper thigh high and I am a 55 year old woman. She told me to bring it right over. She measured where I wanted the slit to end at the knee and had it ready for pick up a few hours later. So thankful to her and it only cost me $25.00. Needed a few repairs/alterations done and dropped by based on reviews. All articles were completed in a satisfactory way. It took just over 2 weeks to pick up items and there was NO sign on the door indicating they'd be closed on my pick up day during their business hours so I has to return the next day. When the holiday season is over I'll return with more items I need altered. Seems a little more expensive than some of the Asian owned places, but the quality is matched. read more

I've been going to this alterations shop ever since I was in high school. I'm not really sure if $18 is worth a hem job, but they do a great job and if I need my jeans in an hour, they get it done. She does wedding dresses, prom dresses, adult's clothing, kid's clothing, and can make bridesmaid's dresses from start to finish.
