Initial fitting with Nadia in store.
    Natalya R.

Brought my wedding dress to the shop to be worked on by Nadia and she did an amazing job. Nadia was very attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable on how the dress should fit and be altered. She took her time with me and was careful to explain the process for modifying the dress once I modeled it for her and shared my vision on how I wanted it to look. The store is very clean, the staff are professional and changing rooms to try on the dress are available as well. Turnaround time for the final finished dress was excellent and very reasonably priced as well. Very happy to have done alterations with Nadia as opposed to paying an up-charge for the same service at a bridal boutique. If you have a special occasion garment that needs special attention and care please bring it to Nadia and her team! Quality work and excellent service.

Nadia is a magician, and I love her work! She tailored everything to fit to my body so my clothing was flattering for my shape. She has altered: dresses, yoga pants, blouses, a coat, purse lining, men's slacks, collared shirts, and a leather jacket. She is amazing at her craft, she works quickly, and all of her pieces are quality. I feel like I have a whole new wardrobe having turned unworn, awkward-in-all-the-wrong-places articles of clothing into garments I love and I'm proud to wear. I'd recommend her to anyone. She even does wedding dresses. I'll continue to return to this business for her artistry, craftsmanship, and the customer service that Nadia provides.

After multiple attempts at communicating with those preferred vendors, there was 1 viable choice, but it was overpriced for what I needed and she ended up leaving me hanging on appointment availability anyway. Once that happened I took it upon myself to go on Yelp and find alternative solutions. Out of the next 2-3 choices I ventured out to, Nadia was the one I opted for because she was straight forward and was the only one who offered me 2 different bustle options - American (over) bustle or ballroom (under bustle). As a bonus, she was also 1/3 of the price of the wedding dress boutique's preferred vendor! Communications were all through Yelp messaging - clear cut for scheduling. Make sure for your fittings you always bring the shoes you'll be wearing for an accurate hem, etc. I opted for the ballroom bustle and Nadia numbered the attachments. During a subsequent fitting I had the MOB and MOH accompany me so they knew what to expect for doing the bustle on the day of the wedding. Forms of payment accepted are cash, card, and money sharing apps - I opted for Zelle.

Before coming in, I called to make sure they had experience sewing patches on a military uniform…read more They said yes, that they did it all the time. My husband brought in his uniform, patches, and printed out the specific instructions for them to use. I go to pick his uniforms up a few days later and my husband tells me that it's been done wrong. They sewed his name patch ON the pocket flap when the instructions specified that it belongs ABOVE the pocket flap. No branch of the military has the name patch sewn on the actual flap which led me to believe that they in fact did not have experience with military uniforms. They also cut the name patch incorrectly so it's no longer usable. We had to order new ones which cost $20, and they were back ordered. Great. We ended up getting a partial refund from the business, but were not reimbursed for the name patches. I'm sure this business does well with dresses and suits, but I'd probably go somewhere else for military uniforms, especially when you brought in a physical copy of instructions on where the patches go, that they didn't even look at.

I'm giving 2 stars for the price…read more I brought in 5 dresses, one of which is a bridesmaid dress for a wedding in 2 weeks, to get hemmed since they were too long. I read reviews on how Tita has reasonable and affordable prices, and a quick turnaround. I didn't think to ask ahead of time for the price since I've had basic hemming done in past for around $35 by other tailors. After trying on all 5 dresses to measure the length, she tells me the hemming will cost $70-$90 PER DRESS, depending on "how wide the bottom of the dress is." The fabric of all the dresses were chiffon. This price was absurd to me! I purchased each dress for about those prices (Lulus)!! After spending an hour trying on the dresses, I decided to just have her hem just the bridesmaid dress since I needed that one right away, begrudgingly, given the price. Dropped off dress on Tuesday after work, was ready for pick up Friday after work. She did a good job, granted it was a basic hem. I told her $90 was too much and she decided to charge me $80. She was nice but I will not go back to get my dresses hemmed. Moral of the story: call ahead of time for a quote and ask ahead of time for price before trying on dresses. Also, she takes only cash.

I would assign ZERO stars if I could! Owner did not finish my alteration on the date she set [nine…read moredays]. When I arrived to pick up the garment one day after she said it would be done [May 1 rather than April 30], she said it was not done. I asked if she had my phone number [why didn't she call to inform me it wasn't complete?] - she said she did. She set a new pickup date of May 4. I picked it up on May 5 and asked for a small discount, given her lack of communication about job completion, as well as a completely irresponsible attitude about the job. She said her price - $48 for a simple, front-only alteration of a blazer - was normally $78, and that I was "already getting a discount"! [She was asked to hem just ONE side of the blazer - why would I be charged an outrageous $78 fee for such a simple request?] She stated that she had told me that she was discounting the price from $78 to $48 when I dropped off the blazer on April 21 [she did not]. Moments later, her daughter came from the back, staring at me, asking me why I was "screaming" - which I most definitely was not, and calling me "passive aggressive". [Perhaps she needs to research the term, as I was most definitely NOT being passive aggressive. The owner then told me her daughter was a psychologist and plans to be a doctor. Ridiculous!]. The owner offered several times to show me the camera footage of our initial conversation on April 21 to verify that she had made statements on that day that I disputed today. I asked if the camera footage had recorded our conversation as well. She said yes. When I informed her that I would be posting a Yelp review - she became even more upset. She made several statements that were either untrue or embellished. Her attitude, by the way, changed entirely when she stated a customer was approaching the store. She was apparently more concerned about how she "appeared" to a male customer than resolving the issue. All in all, a very negative experience. By the way, I requested two years ago that buttons be moved on another blazer. The garment now does not hang properly because the buttons are not lined up evenly. Despite this, I did not complain or return for an adjustment, deciding to let the matter go. There are many other dry cleaning establishments in the area - I would suggest another one where family members do not demonstrate bullying tactics, do not name-call, and where the owner stands by her word. Shameful.
