Sally who does alterations is extremely rude, condescending, and argumentative. I brought my jacket in because the zipper broke and she grabbed the jacket and rolled her eyes. I had the zipper with me and just needed the zipper back on the zipper line. She immediately questioned if the zipper belonged to the jacket and I told her yes. She looked absolutely annoyed fixing my jacket for five minutes. She gave the jacket back to me, but the zipper wasn't all the way connected. So I attempted to zip it up and it got stuck on the fabric. She grabs the jacket again and belittles me and told me "look what you did! This is why it's broken!" Mind you I'm a grown woman (30 years old.) I'm looking at her expressionless because I refuse to react to people who are angry souls. She then attempts to flash me a smile with crazy eyes. (Probably because she had to sit with that awkward silence from me and she realized how embarrassing her behavior was) She charges me $10 for five minutes of belittling me. (Cash only might I add) so I had to take a stroll to the market across the way and come back. Whoever wants to be yelled at on a sunny Wednesday afternoon give her a visit. She asked me what I needed, I explained, and she told me to leave them and come back in 2 hours. I returned a few hours later and the hem was finished. Where do I begin, a friend of mine decided to pull together a last minuet wedding with less then a month to prepare. I just had a baby, and I was asked to be a bridesmaid. I go pick out a dress thinking that I would only shrink in 3 weeks not get bigger as I just popped out a kid. No, I was wrong I grew almost 3 inches ESP in the boob area. I tried my dress on and realized it was to small. I bring it to sally almost in tears on the 19, the wedding is on the 22. I asked her to do a corset top as there was no room to let it out. I have been bringing dresses to Sally since 2003, and she has NEVER let me down! Not only is her work impeccable, she is so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend her EVERYTIME! Most recently I brought my wedding dress to Sally to be altered. I bought my dress at a boutique in LA, and brought it back to Sacramento to be altered. To my surprise and horror, somehow egg yolk got on my dress between the boutique and Sally. You can imagine how upset I was when we found this. But Sally immediately came to the rescue! Not only did she take it home to work on after hours, she was able to get it all out (including the smell)!!!! I took my wedding dress to sally to have it hemmed, 6 bustles installed and sleeves added to my dress. she did an AMAZING JOB, not just her work ethics but her personality and thoughtfulness is amazing as well. She is such a sweet women and has such a family friendly welcoming environment. When we took my dress for the first time I was nervous because I had my toddler with me and she doesn't always listen well so I thought I was going to be stressed out trying my dress on and chasing her, however Sally had lots of toys there and welcomed her to explore with the toys so that I was stress free and was able to focus on my dress alterations.
