I took in four items and they ruined three of the four. I wanted a jacket sleeve taken in and they somehow didn't take in the sleeves but made the body too small and the sleeves are still too big and oddly shaped. A shirt I needed taken up and it now has these odd gathers like they added elastic? Not sure but looks terrible. And a skirt that needed to be taken in at the waist has odd gathers in the back so there's no way you'd tuck anything in. It was just loose in the waist. Looks really bad! The shortened a pair of jean okay. I WILL NOT GO BACK! Hoping I can get my money back or they can fix the items, but based on what they did, I dout it. OH, and it cost $120!! read more

This place was originally my go to for alterations. My first issue was that they tried to overcharge my brother when we had recommended this place to him. This time, my sister came to get her prom dress altered and it looked great, but there was a roach inside of it when we got it back. it was not a fun experience dealing with that aftermath. read more

Larissa did an amazing job with my dress. I was in town for an event and desperately needed my dress altered. I called Quick Alterations in the morning asking if she did same day services, of course it depends on what is needed, she asked if I could come in and see what I need to be able to further assist me. I walked in about 15 mins later and she assured me she could get it done by end of day. Picking up my dress was a cinch. Save yourself, time, money and frustration, do not go her! will lie to you repeatedly.I dropped off a Sleep Number bed sheet on March 27, 2024 for a simple repair. I told her they were very expensive sheets because of the kind of bed we have. $269 And we can't just go and buy a fitted sheet as they come in a set. I have a medical condition and I have no alternative but to have this type of bed. She said sure "no problem, should only take a week" well after about 3 weeks I went in and she said they weren't ready and come back the following week and she would call me. Ok, no problem. No call from her and another two weeks go by so I go stop in again. Once again, she told me that they were not ready. I was kind and told her no problem. So now we're into May I drive over there with my father and she has a sign on the door saying she's on vacation for a week. No update no consideration, no call. So I go back in June still not ready. She said that she had an order some special material to fix the whole. OK I'm not even mad at this point, although my husband is getting frustrated. I'm like, that's all right, I'll come back. I'm very patient and I was thinking she was overwhelmed and to give her some grace. I go back in July now I'm starting to get a little perturbed,, where are my sheets? This has been going on since March. The last time I went in there was last Monday on August 17. This excuse this time was she couldn't find them. She put them somewhere she said, but can't locate them right then and there. So then she told me she wants to mail them to me. I still gave her some grace and said fine. Please mail them to me as soon as you can when you find them I left her shop. I talk to my husband when he got home. He was furious. I called her back after speaking to him. She wouldn't answer the phone. I know it was after hours, but I didn't want her to say that she mailed them and then blame the post office as an excuse for not getting my sheets. At this point we thought she would lie again and then blame the Post Office that we never received them. I left her a message telling her please do not mail the sheets. This was the very next day and that we would pick them up once they were ready. She became very dismissive on the phone and kept saying "yes dear yes dear " " ah huh, sure whatever" I told her if I did not receive the sheets within the week that I would be filing a small claims action against her. And she got very rude. It is now August. 23rd and still no phone call So I guess I have no choice. I explained to her I cannot just go and buy a fitted Sleep Number sheet they come in set and the sheets said that I have is over $260. I was trying to save some money by having her repair them. I have been nothing but nice and understanding and kind of her every time I went in there and that takes time out of my day and never once has she ever called me to say that the sheets were not ready or I'm sorry never once Now, unfortunately, it's going to cost her so much more money and time to deal with this. She simply does not care she's rude and she just lies. It's now just turned into something unnecessary. She is not truthful and could care less about her customers. She has never called us, never apologized doesn't care and I still have the ticket so she cannot say that we never dropped anything off. The date on the ticket dated March 27, 2024. This is completely unacceptable. Awful customer service and I would not recommend going to this woman! We will be filing small claims against her now, and this will be costing her much more than the cost of my sheet set. Unfortunate that she can't seem to communicate reasonably and professionally to resolve this issue. If she lost our sheets, then she should have fessed up and reimburse us the money for a sheet set long time ago. Instead of wasting my time and making me go back-and-forth five times. I have a business as well in the service industry, and I would never ever treat my customers this way. It's appalling. Either way we will be made whole. read more

I have been here many time and was happy with the service. However, after my last experience I will never be back. I dropped off 3 pair of Hudson jeans to be hemmed on a Wednesday and explained that I had to have them back on Saturday for a business trip. She told me they would be ready by 2:30 on Saturday. I arrived at 2:25p and the shop was closed. I called several times and only received voice mail and knocked (loudly) several times. I had to go buy more new jeans for my trip. When I returned over a week later she told me she was here and insisted I was wrong. It was not possible for her NOT to hear me knocking. To make matters ever worse, she cut my jeans too short and there is no way to have them fixed now. 3 pair of $200 jeans that now don't fit me. read more

Referred by a friend. Went to drop off an evening gown and was rushed even though nobody was in the store. No biggie. Went to pay and machine was down. Slight annoyance but what are you gonna do right? Ticket said garment ready on a monday, i came in on a wednesday and was told "not ready come back before close" NOT OK Not once did i ever get an apology for the delay. Dress was altered fine. Customer service is non existent If i am going to give you my $80 the least you can do is apologize when you cant commit to a promised by date. I recently took 5 shirts into be taken in. They took one shirt and pinned it; then asked me if the other shirts were similar which they were. They said they did not need to pin the rest if that was the case. I was nervous when I left because they did not pin every shirt. I picked up my shirts today. They are perfect. This is the 3rd time I went to pick up or drop something off during business hours and she wasn't there! Sign in the window said she would be back at 1pm. I was still standing there at 1:15pm and still no one was there. I just feel that it rude to customers that are wasting time trying to figure out when this place is "open". I was told my garments would be ready on a specific day and time and whenever I go to pick them up they are not ready. I make a special trip down there as well. If I could give zero stars, I would. Dropped off three things for alterations, including a dress for my son's wedding. The shop was a mess, straight pins on the floor in the dressing room...I had reservations but my old shop went out of business and the wedding was 2 weeks away. The dress for the wedding was ruined and the other two garments were very poorly altered with mismatched seams, seams that didn't lay flat, etc. The tailor that ultimately redid everything took one look at the work that had been done and said, "Who did this"? I will never go here again. Everything is done at the very last second and there is no attention to detail, even when pinning, to make sure things are fitted correctly. I bought a suit for a wedding on the Saturday before 4th of July, come Monday I was scrambling for a shop that could tailor it and get it back to me by Thursday. I called multiple shops in Folsom and they were either closed for the week or not sure if they could do it that quickly since they would be closed for the 4th. When I called Larisa to ask if she could do it by Thursday she said yes without hesitation. Came in, put it on to see what needed to be done, and she said it wouldn't be too much work. The price was exactly what she has on her website, no extra or hidden charges. Picked it up Thursday and it looked awesome, just in time for a wedding on Friday!
