This was the third shop I visited. The first kept moving the completion date. The second gave me an absurd quote. This shop was great! Reasonable price, the project was completed quickly, and the quality was good! read more

I needed a quick alteration for a wedding that was 5 days away ! They were quick and captured the vision for my alteration perfectly ! Going back for all alterations! $25 to remove some fabric and reroute the straps on the dress read more

I can't recommend this place enough. My MOH in my wedding stumbled upon this shop while looking for a prom dress for her daughter. I had been struggling to find a place for my bridesmaids to purchase an affordable formal dress in my wedding. When I brought all my girls there, Ahmad who runs both the alterations and attached formal dress shop with his wife, greeted us all and was very happy to help each of us. He has a wide variety of dresses! Each of my bridesmaids found styles that flattered their figures and all in the same dark green color that matched my wedding. They each looked absolutely stunning! I was so pleased with the result. They also were able to alterations as well which made it so convenient to have everything done at one place. The alterations services are also fantastic. They fixed my officiant's formal jumpsuit for the wedding as well. I highly recommend Same Day Alterations. read more

They did a great job hemming my dress. I'll definitely be bringing in more items :) it was ready exactly when they said too.

Amazing quality fast work excellent prices 15/10!!! Would highly recommend. I will definitely be returning

I found same-day alterations on yelp I immediately called and Ahmad answered. I had three tube tops to alter. He was very friendly on the fall and said come on over I came and they sized me and pinned the shirts while they were on me. Beautiful family business I will be a customer. The price was great and they got it ready for me by the date that we spoke about. I am very pleased with my tube tops ! read more

I went in to get two of my jeans hemmed so they wouldn't drag anymore and they did it in 2 days. The price is also very affordable and the quality is seamless. It was my first time going there, hence why I've given it 4 stars but I shall be returning if I ever need more hemming or other alterations. read more

Service was same day which was very much appreciated. However I see where they originally stitched in the wrong space (on leather so it shows very well). There's also a portion of my patch that was not sewn leading me to believe they did not have it aligned straight and in order to compensate for either a crooked patch or a bubble, they instead left a portion of my patch unstitched. Recommend if you have a time crunch but not if you have the time available to wait for it to be done correctly. read more

One week before my wedding i tried my wedding dress on and realized i gained some weight and my dress didnt fit. I took it here and they assured me they can fix it and get it done in time. I came back to try it on and it was perfect! I also brough sleeves to add to my dress and they put it on no worries. I studdied the back of the dress wherre they fixed it and you can not tell at all. They did such a great job in such a fast amount of time. im so grateful that they were able to do this for me. We also brought my husbands suit in to get the pants shortened and they did it in a day! It came out so good. It was also very affordable. They did an amzing job!!! read more

Its good service but over priced no value @ 45$ for 4 pairs of pants hemmed and a pair made in to shorts.

Came here a couple weeks before my wedding & they did a fabulous job for a great price! Would recommend to anyone!

I needed a dress hemmed pretty quickly for a wedding and came here after doing my Yelp research for other quick alteration places. It's located right behind the Autozone on Watt so could be easy to miss. There was no wait when I stopped by and the seamstress pinned up my dress pretty quickly to the length I wanted, all while chatting on the phone. Impressive. The dress was ready 3 days later as promised and it looked great. $55 to hem a semi-formal dress with two layers. Not bad for a quick turn around. read more

I work in the Sacramento area but live out of town, so finding time for tailoring or alterations can be a challenge. Since I'm usually only available on weekends, pickups can end up taking one to three weeks, depending on my schedule. This morning, I called right when they opened at 8:30 a.m., needing three pairs of trousers shortened in time for the work week. Even though it was short notice, the owners were understanding and managed to fit me in. I arrived at 9:15 a.m. and was finished by 10 a.m. While timing may vary based on your needs, I was truly impressed by their kindness, skill, and attention to detail. The best part? They didn't even charge a rush fee! I'm extremely satisfied with their service and quality of work and will definitely return for future tailoring needs. read more

the Service was amazing. I brought in my daughters cheer uniform to get altered and they were able to get it done just in time for my daughters game day. the uniform fits perfect! I will definitely be going back read more

If you need a last minute alteration (i.e the same day), they are incredible! I bought a teal, satin, full-length, dress just a few days before my friend's wedding that I was attending and it was far too long for me--even with my tallest heels. I waited way too long to have it altered, but I called Same Day Alterations the morning that I was supposed to leave for the wedding (out of town) and they confirmed they could alter the dress for me by 2pm in time for me to leave to travel up to the wedding. I walked in the store a little after 10 AM, they had me change into the dress and quickly pinned it for the desired alteration, and they called me a little before 2 PM to confirm the dress was ready to be picked up. I was really impressed because, for one, satin is tough to alter. And two, this dress originally had some super funky seams that I didn't realize until I tried it on, including a train in the back that I wasn't super keen on, since I was just a guest at the wedding. They were super honest and told me that if I tried to alter the train off of the dress that it would make me look like I was hiding something under my dress/make it poof out because of how the seams were on it, and that instead, they could alter the train way back in a way that it doesn't drag/show and still looked natural. All I can tell you is if they tell you something, trust them! Things I really like about this place: -They were super clear about where they were altering the dress and how, especially given the complex seams on my dress. -They told me the price before I left them with the dress in the morning. -The whole alteration was $45 out the door (a great price for a same day alteration on a satin gown) -The alteration was insanely well-done. Such beautiful work, chef's kiss! -The people that own it are so, so nice. The shop is clean and smells good. Officially have found my 'forever alterations shop' and they have my business for life! read more

It is my second time coming here for my daughter's 2 proms and they do not disappoint!! Not only is the work amazing but the price is reasonable and the are so friendly. I would recommend this place a thousand times over. read more

These are among my favourite shorts, and the Zipper had two broken teeth in different areas. I dropped the shorts off on Monday evening around 5:30 pm, and they were repaired and ready for pickup on Wednesday around the time that I dropped them off previously. Outstanding work by this business. If I didn't know that the shorts had a new Zipper sewn in, I would've believed they were made with the shorts themselves. read more

I needed my bridesmaid dress hemmed in a very short time. I dropped it off and picked it up the very next day. Reasonably priced and dress came out perfect. read more

They do amazing work prices very reasonable my only problem with them is when I pick up my clothes it literally smells like the incense that they are burning inside. I don't want to take my clothes to the cleaners or wash them every time I go for alterations. And for that reason I am not going back! I wish there's a way someone can bring it to their attention. read more

I came in last week to drop my dress off. I was told to pick it up at 4:30 today and that they close at 5:00. My pickup ticket has 4:30pm written on it. I get there at 4:30 and they are closed. The dress is needed for an event tomorrow. With them being closed on Sunday, I am now left with nothing to wear to tomorrow's wedding. Poor customer service. read more

I needed my wedding dress altered (shortened sleeves and shorter overall length) and they did a great job. :) It took about 3-4 weeks and was $400 for the alterations, which was expected. The dress still looked perfect even after the alterations. I've come here for alterations pants, dresses, and other clothing and I've never had any issues. read more

I was a bit hesitant with this place at first but I'm glad I ended up coming ! I needed my nursing scrubs altered asap for school and they did my two sets same day within three hours ! The work was well done ! Definitely recommend! read more

He is too aggressive for an alteration shop. I came here looking for an estimate on a suit pant and he was getting annoyed since I wasn't sure the height of heel since I forgot them. Something so simple but he made it uncomfortable with his attitude. It completely threw me off that I longer wanted any business from this store anymore. I told him that I was going to look at other places and he was very immature about it, leaving me more uneasy. I walked out with my very long pant suit still on. read more

Great service they take good care of you. I have gone to them several times and they come through at a affordable price

Thank you for the creative alteration for my dress. I appreciate how kind both of you were and wish you much success.

Absolutely amazing job! I dropped my prom dress off and gave them the measurements and they worked with me to get a scheduled time to come pick it up! I went to go pick it up it was completely effortless, the hem was right where I wanted it to be, and they did an overall amazing job. I'm not sure what "same day" alterations apply to but luckily we went early enough before our event so we gave them a full week to complete alterations for three pants and two dresses. Excellent place to do business with, I have a small company in Sacramento so I ordered over 10 jackets the NorthFace, after searching for an alteration local shops I decided to give Same Day Alterations a shot and test out to do my jackets and sew patches on them, really excellent business practice from the phone call with happy to help to we offer same day service and the best what I was looking for is the price , they gave me best price in town so I had no time to make my decision and pick them to do business with.
