Online customer service is not helpful and store associates are rude. I placed an order for online pick up that should be ready in 3 hours. Was not ready in 24 hours, so I started a chat with the Kors customer service and was told I have to call the store for order updates. I call the store, no greeting only "Michael Kors" is said. I speak to the associate, she puts me on hold to look for the order. Gets back on the phone and states "You will receive an email by EOB." Less than 20 minutes later I get an email to say the order was cancelled. Maybe if you had done your job 24 hours prior I may have had the opportunity to pick up my order. read more

I've read some of the low-rated reviews and I'm glad that I did not experience any of what others had wrote about. My daughter and I walked inside the store and made our way to the purses first... then to the shoe section. No one followed us around, we were given the freedom to browse without a salesperson constantly behind our backs. During the entire time we were inside the store two employees asked if we needed anything and that was it... we were left alone when we said we were good. The sales and staff were a nice mix of different nationalities so there was no discrimination or 'racial prejudice' during our shopping experience. We spent quite a bit of time in the shoe section because I couldn't decide on the color sneakers I like but overall a pleasant shopping experience at Michael Kors this afternoon. My husband , a disabled VierNam veteran having served in the Airforce , and I purchased a purse yesterday , 12/02/2024, at the Michael Kors Outlet in Folsom CA . After waiting on line for 15 minutes I approached the 3 sales representatives who were chatting amongst themselves to inquire if another individual could assist with check out. Another person came to the register and we continued our purchase . When my husband showed his Veteran ID card we were told that since the store had a sale/disocunt going on they would not honor the 10% Veterans discount clearly marked on the entrance to the store and if we wanted the 10% we would not receive the 25% discount store sale. We found this behavior and response egregious. While my husband was serving his country he did not take breaks , serving his country was a commitment , Michael Kors also made a corporate commitment to honor Veterans. I came here yesterday after work given the fact that I had lost my Michael Kors wallet on Tuesday. I was pretty bummed out because it's a very hard wallet to come by and I did not want to have to go to the mall because it would cost double the amount and then I remembered after leaving work that we had outlets not too far from my job so I made the drive and I came in there And I was greeted right away. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and I saw a wall that looks similar to mine but it looks smaller and I was like do I really want this one. It doesn't have enough room and so I chose the zip Michael Kors wallet that had a lot more room for my cards and it was also a great price it was only $69 it was $74 with tax. That's still cheaper than what I paid for my purse and wallet at the time the girl who rang me up was very friendly and very helpful and even wrapped my wallet really nicely for me when I left and I got a cute bag, the Michael Kors bag, another one of my favorite paper bags lol my experience overall was great. The staff was amazing. I found exactly what I needed and I didn't end up buying a purse that's always a plus lol. And just so everybody knows they don't just have the logos they have purses that are playing that just had a Michael Kors on it. I think people think Michael Kors they have logos not sure at all they have the plain purses I just have a Michael Kors written on the top. I personally one of the logo wallet so that's why I came here that's one thing I like is there MKs are very cute. This establishment is so awesome so much stuff I could've gone crazy luckily I had self-control. Lol so much amazing stuff. A girl can go. Crazy I would I highly recommend a Michael Kors Outlet they have several different items to choose from for half the price of what you would spend at the mall I like a savings and who doesn't like to save money, win-win, and they do not just have items for women they have something for everyone I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more future visits and we're great experience to come. For the first time in over 10 years I had a crazy experience at a Michael Kors store. I had been in search of the Clear Sintra Sunglasses for about 2 months and eventually found them online at the Folsom Outlet store. I ordered them online and picked them up on March 29. It was a rainy day so I just dashed in, picked them up and left. I eventually tried them on at home and found the fit to be too tight for my face. I went back to the store on March 30, less than 24 hours after I picked them up and the lady who had handed them to me (I believe she is the manager or supervisor) the previous day was called to assist me with the return. To my surprise, she refused to accept them back because she said the lenses had smudges on them! I offered to wipe the smudges (likely from when I tried them on) off but she said she still would not be able to accept them back. She went on to say that the reason I gave for bringing them back also made it impossible for her to accept them. She said if I had said I didn't like them, that would have been fine. I was even more astounded! I couldn't believe that just not liking them is considered a better reason than the fact that they hurt my face! I was so infuriated because I knew that her stance towards me was not based on policy but her choice. I guess it also didn't help that I had no make up on and was dressed in jeans shorts and a T, looking nothing like the professional that I am and had presented as the previous day. I also wondered if she just doesn't like people of a certain color, who knows? The whole experience was so bizarre and rather than cause a scene, I chose to leave, saying that I would return them via the online process. She proceeded to say rather loudly after me as I left the store: "or you can take them to Vacaville, they won't know!" As I said, I believe the person who attended to me is the manager or supervisor for this location and based on how she behaved, she does not deserve to be in this role or be associated with Michael Kors in ANY way. While in over 10 years of shopping at Michael Kors all over the world and even at the Outlet, I have never experienced anything like this, I will never shop at this particular location again and will be telling my friends to avoid the location as well. My review. Sadly they were my favorite purse ppl and now my purse isn't even 6 months old and peeling. Customer service has been VERY rude and not helpful, while the purse I got from them and used WAY more is in perfect condition so quality has to have gone down. Their warranty says wear and tear in the first year but not backing a less than 6 month old purse. I came in at 6:40 and they close at 7. I was aware of that so I wanted to be quick. I was looking around for awhile until I found something I like. A young woman was helping me pick between two bags. When I decided on one she went to the back to look for a new one in the plastic instead of giving me the display model that people touch and have stained. While waiting for her I was near the counter looking at other bags to pass the time. While waiting a taller older Caucasian woman tells me "it's 7:00" now. So I look at my phone and it's 7:02. I tell her, "okay?" Then she says, "we're closed you have to leave". I told her "are you kicking me out while I'm waiting for a bag?" She then goes to the counter and asks everyone working, "he says he's waiting for a bag who's getting it?" They told her none of them are then I gave her a description of the young woman who was helping me. Then she said her name and just walked away. The weird part is that there were two other gentlemen shopping in there at 7:00 but she didn't tell them anything? Did my ethnicity have something to do? Is it because I was just buying one bag? My wife loves this brand, which is why it pains me to write this review. After waiting in line during 100°+ heat, 4 people exit the store so the couple in front of us went in and so did my wife and I. Except we were intercepted and told they were at capacity, then was asked to wait outside. We explained that 4 people left, but had to still wait while they did a head count. Few minutes later we get in and the same lady held out sanitizer in a way we felt obligated to take some... Wife and I both looked at each other in disgust as it left a slimy feeling on our hands. We stumbled across a labor day special, 3 items for $225 or so, that included the backpack she already wanted. So we just had to pick out a tiny wallet and a cross body purse. The lady who was helping us suggested one my wife really liked, took all 3 items to the register and told us to just tell them our name when we're ready to check out. We continued shopping for another purse and proceeded to the register. The guy at the register asked who helped us (I have a hard time remembering our waiter's name when eating out, and I'm reliant upon them to refill my drinks, so remember someone with a unique name in a purse store is unlikely)... We mentioned our other purchase, and the tag showed my wife's name, "3 set combo" and the lady's name who helped us. Total was over $400 instead of ~$200, and we asked why. Seems the cross body purse was not included in the deal, even though the sales associate was the one who suggested it. We went back and there were 3 sections included in the sale: a table, an entire section of wall, and a rack that had the cross body purse... But only half the rack was included ‍. I asked if I could pay the difference between the 2, and the gentleman either didn't hear me or ignored me. Based on our experience thus far, I believe the ladder. So we decided to just get the backpack and forego the bundle. Really disappointed in this experience, my wife even was wearing a MK purse during this (so obviously a loyal customer), and if they either honored the deal their associate initiated with us or allowed me to pay the difference, this would have been a 4/5 star review as I appreciate the customer service and quality of product vs value received. read more

Yesssss this MK girl finally has an outlet in town! What makes this outlet unique from Vacaville is that they sell clothes too! It's also a larger store than their vacaville outlet store. They opened April 2018. As of my last visit in May, depending on the collection, they sell handbags 20-60% off retail, 30-60% off wallets, keychain accessories are hidden in drawers, you'll need to ask for them, interchangeable handbag straps sold separately. Came in to do a gift return. It was past the 30 day return policy. The lady doing my return said she could only take it back if I exchanged it for something now. I took a look around the store. The signs at the store were misleading. I would see a giant 'take 70% off' sign but it didn't apply to a majority of the bags under that sign. I worked in retail for 8 years. I have done marketing and signage. I have also dealt with Weights & Measures and that signage would not have passed. When you advertise a sign above the entire panel it should apply to the majority of the product. You could also move the items that do apply for the 70% off and make a display on a focal wall and just put 20% off signs on the price points areas, which is what the promo was for. To top it off when I went to complete my purchase, another person was helping me and she was able to put my return onto a gift card. Very annoying. Could've saved me an hour and I would've waited to shop later when I actually found something I liked. Ended up just buying a purse as a gift to be done with my credit. read more

Rude staff!!! We stood in line with my wife, and got out of line as my wife stayed in line to grab a drink. We get back in line with my wife and when we walked in the staff lady said we could not come in because "we cut" I understand it's a pandemic and all, but even though the customers try to be understanding the staff needs to do so too. I was the one paying and I was told to stay out. Unbelievably rude person. I told my wife to go in and shop and I would be in to pay. My wife was so mad, she said I ain't buying anything from here. We then went to Kate Spade (next door) and they were so nice. We spent over $500 there. You need to hire better employees. I would've rated the MK Outlet in Folsom, CA with zero stars...the store staff are rude and disrespectful to any customer that is unhappy with their purchase and returning items. I had a valid receipt and was a few days pass their outrageous 30- day return or exchange store policy. My husband gifted me a leather bag for $180 and I was not happy with the quality. I spoke with a store manager, Katie, on the phone prior to going to return the bag the following day. Katie said that she would take a look at the bag the next day which I said was still in brand new condition. This bag was a gift from my spouse which I received over 30 days after his purchase and I was not happy with the bag's quality. I was told at the store that Katie was not in and they could not help me. I spoke with one of the sales clerks named, Erica, who needs an attitude adjustment and retraining on customer service and how to speak with shoppers. Erica, an Asian female also speaks with a heavy loud accent, speaks in broken English and is rude to customers. I've purchased MK products at both full retail and outlet stores and own 13 MK purses/hand bags/wallets/totes. I don't plan to make anymore Michael Kors purchased in the future until I get a full apology from their corporate office by someone who cares about their store reputation and provides customer focused training to their employee, Erica. There are plenty of other name brand competitive products I will choose from in the future until I get that apology! My experience at this store was horrible. I walked in greeted by a very friendly man I was asked if I needed assistance and I replied I was just looking. Went to browse around at the selection of handbags . My little brother just got his first job so this was a "big purchase" for him so he was looking for bags as well. A very old woman with gray hair and glasses kept asking what style we were looking for my brother responded we weren't looking for a particular style and kept browsing. The associates were following us around every part of the store we went as if we were attempting to steal. I feel we were judged by appearance and they thought we were probably not going to buy anything or steal and that is a very uncomfortable feeling in the store especially if I'm trying to shop and then have a 100 year old women constantly pestering me. Going forward my brother and I decided on the same bag in a different color. When we were rung up we paid two different prices for the same bag. They didn't even have any bags to put our purchase in. They gave us clear plastic bags that you would put vegetables in from a super market (considering how both handbags were a gift it was unfortunate to have spent $200+ to receive a hideous plastic bag) I went back to ask why and the associate Sarah act as if she didn't want to adjust the price. Although it was only a $25 price difference it's the principle of this situation. I never buy/bought a MK bag before but I have never experienced such judgmental customer service from a store. I shop at a lot of "high end" stores such as Louis Vuitton in the galleria often, and have NEVER received poor customer service (regardless of my appearance) as I did at a DISCOUNTED MK Store. The only reason I shopped at this store is because MK is my moms favorite brand for whatever odd reason that is. Will not be returning to this store.
