The women's clothes are on the pricier side but the quality is excellent. Plus they do have occasional sales, the last one recently was 30% off everything in the shop. I went into store to use my consignor credit after contract ended and several pieces that were labeled as "donated" on Ricochet were still on the floor for sale. If I would have known this would be the case at contract end (that my pieces would continue to be monetized after the contract ended) and not be donated to the charity mentioned at signing, I would of insisted my items were returned to me. Not cool. In response: Is this procedure of continuing to sale items after contract ends in the contract? I would suggest that, if it is not, it be added so consignor is aware on signing. It makes for better optics when a consignor sees both their item as " donated" on ricochet ( by mistake) and "for sale" after contract ends. To prevent future confusion, you might provide a copy of the contract -- either a hard copy or digital--so they can refer to it for all those items that you don't " prioritize" . Staff took my measurements: chest, waist, hips. Then told me I was a size 2. I questioned a size 2 because the dress I tried on was a 6 and too snug. A separate gal then said I'm a size 10, maybe an 8, but the dresses run small. So she recommended I order the 10 to make sure it was large enough to fit my 29" waist measurement. Well, I have the dress and it does fit my waist, but I need a WHOOOOOOLE lot more boob to fill the ginormous, pre-cast, chest cups sewn into the dress. My chest is a 34 B, which they measured and wrote down in my info. I met with their seamstress and she can't alter the dress because of the style of the bodice and how it overlays the ginormous cups. But she did tell me I can "get a push-up bra AND some bra fillers/push-up enhancers and it will help fill the gap." Help??? If I wanted big boobs I'd have the surgery. But I'm happy with my little gals. For the record, I tried her recommendations and with both a push up bra and the bra fillers in place, the cups are still half empty. Or are they half-full...? Either way, the poor fit in this area is upsetting. Paying hundreds of dollars for a dress and waiting 6 weeks for it to be assembled and delivered, I (naively) expected ALL of my measurements to be taken into account when the dress was made.... So it would fit, not require a push up bra and inserts to attempt to fill the cup space. Staff was helpful in the color options available, and making darn sure I signed all the paperwork saying there are no take backs... But they failed to inform the buyer the dress will fit the largest measurement on your body and the rest of the fit is a crap shoot, and their alterations department may, or may not, be able to fix a problem... One final note... when I picked up the dress, it was very wrinkled (it's chiffon). and I asked if they steam it so it's ready to wear... Yes, they will for $15 dollars. Lordy lord! Please, let me walk out of your shop with my $400 dress steamed and ready to wear. Tried to shop local. Didn't work out so well for me. MH

Kohl's has become impossible to shop with their Kohl's cash (KC) scheme. Even though you may have…read more$10 in KC, the value of that certificate is only $5 and the reason is that you cannot apply the 40% discount if you are paying with KC and you don't earn any KC. The place where they get you is if you buy $50 worth of products and receive $10KC and spend it, when you return the $50 item, they deduct the full face value of $10KC even though its value is much less than that. Effectively they are trying to have you not return an item or stiff you on the return. This has always been the case - nothing new. However, what is new is that now returning products bought with KC is a horrendous. I bought something with KC and tried to return it. The cashier scanned my transaction bar code and basically Kohl's computer refused to find my return item. And the cashier got all uppity and said that it is a Kohls.com problem and they have to resolve it. So while in the store, I called Kohls.com and now the Kohls.com lady was trying to get rid of me by basically saying that this is what you need to tell the cashier. I didn't want to be the sardine in the middle going back and forth and I insisted that the cashier and Kohls.com lady talk to each other and even then they could not resolve anything. This took a t good 35-40 minutes. Then the Kohls.com lady asked for the manager. First the uppity cashier didn't want to call the manger since she "knew it all". But anyways the manager comes in and the same problem. Then the manager says that because the item was just picked up, the computers haven't synced up and if I came another day, issue would be resolved and I can ask staff to call her if it is not. So I go a few days later - same problem - can't return the item. So I tried to short circuit by asking the cashier to call the manger. This cashier was actually very nice - she knew how to provide good customer service. But the manager was on vacation. Anyways they called the assistant manager and in the end, they ended up doing a receipt-less return since I told them that I was not looking forward to coming in a 3rd time for a return. So while Kohl's claims returns are easy - they are not - I did not enjoy an hour of of my life wasted in just trying to do a return. This company is all messed up under the new management and my family is pretty much done with Kohl's and KC after I finish the credit that I received for my return. Would not be surprised if Kohl's doesn't exist in a couple of years if they don't fix their issues.
