That's why I'm here to ask the management of this Target location: is a man in charge of ordering your tampons? That was a rhetorical question. I can tell that a man is in charge of ordering your tampons. I literally drove out of my way to get to Target, cause it's like, out of all the places a woman would expect to be able to find a decent variety of tampons, Target is super high on the list. I couldn't believe that this Target ONLY carries multipacks with different sizes. What is this, costco? Did you think you could buy a normal sized box of regular Kotex or Playtex? No, not unless you are stocking your bathroom for an entire sorority. They literally only have multipacks with varying sizes. Let me break this down for you, Target. As a mother and nursing school dropout. A woman chooses tampons based on the size of her anatomy, not the velocity of her flow. My anatomy isn't regular on Monday and super on Tuesday, if you catch my drift. It's the same size all the time. I thought-- didn't I see a CVS in this parking lot? Turns out that it was ostensibly part of the Target. So between Target and CVS, they didn't have any normal boxes of tampons. I can't believe I had to go to the grocery store to find the correct box of tampons. (They had them at Nugget across the way.) read more

Shelf price is different and scan price came higher for 2 baby trousers. Shelf shows 30% discount and the baby sweater from that self did not get discount at the register. Few staff at return section and extremely long line. We were able to return two trousers and get 30% off on the sweater after showing them the photo of the display. Staff did not apologize for the confusion and inconvenience :( read more

This Target (in El Dorado Hills, CA) is like most others. It is a full sized Target with a grocery section. It even has a Starbucks with a small indoor seating area. Pricing on items are the same as other Targets'. However this location is a popular place, it is usually BUSY crowded. But for some reason it is popular with the local kids as well. It is a teen hangout. No matter if it is during the summer, during the school year, a weekend, or a weekday... a significant number of kids are here treating the place like a shopping mall in the 1980s. There are always a few rowdies, unbeknownst to themselves, that are unconsciously doing their best to imitate a John Hughes movies. Teen angst playing out before our eyes. The staff here have tremendous patient dealing with the customers even the kids and their shenanigans like deliberately moving merchandise about the store and riding the disability scooters. On several occasions the store was a mess. Merchandise on the floor, areas being re-merchandised during store hours, clothing stacked on top of non similar merchandise. Customer service is "meh". Never enough check out areas open and self check out machines limited because they were not working. Store cleanliness is just "OK", but could definitely be better. Overall, the store needs help and attention to make changes for the better. I only go to this store when I have to because they have some items I can't get elsewhere. read more

This El Dorado Hills Target is bigger than the one I normally shop at in Placerville. I bought some plastic tubs, distilled water, and a flash drive. Their prices are excellent and comparable to Walmart. And Target stores tend to be better organized and not cluttered like Walmart. read more

There are Targets and there are Targets. The EDH Target I need to give reduced stars to due to the disorganization of the stores, lack of service, and how the checkout lanes especially the self-checkout registers are, or are not, being manned. EDH's Target recently went through a renovation, but with the lack of maintenance, one would never know. When time allows, I honestly prefer the Folsom Target even though it's farther away. The heart knows what the heart wants! My heart loves Tarjay in El Dorado Hills! And the CVS Pharmacy inside the store! But that is a review for another day:)! All Targets created equal? Me thinks not. This one seems smaller, more intimate and less busy then the Folsom location. And I like that. On certain days and at just the right time, the store is so quiet and peaceful. Brilliant marketing strategy to add the designer sections, Chip and Joanna Gaines and Studio McGee. I find it most tempting to sneak a peak as soon as all the new merchandise is rolled out on Sundays. But never on Sunday! Wayyyy too many peeps checking out the weekly new sales! Personally...I feel Target has done an exellantè job of duplicating many high end furniture and home dècor department stores' merchandise at "mucho" lower costs. And kudos to them. The consumer is the definite winner. The customer service is wonderful! Always helpful staff and such nice cashiers. They go beyond and above in all my experiences at this location. Truly! This is what makes this particular Target so special. So may I finish by stating I am a Tarjay snob and proud of it! Why would I want to pay more for that cute summer pillow or my fav artificial basket of outdoor grass at West Elm when it is right there waiting for me at the El Dorado Hills Target! As bad as it gets. I use a commercial grade flip phone that Consumer Cellular would never carry so I called to find out if it is compatible. I was told if it is "unlocked" it will work on their network. So I purchase the phone and take it to the Target on Douglas. After 2 hours of trying to get it to work he gives up. Not the brightest bulb in the closet. For example, he asked for my phone number 7 times. I gave him the transfer pin from Verizon but he had to ask for that again too. Waste of my time. So I go to the Target in Lincoln. This guy is dumb as a post and sullen too. After over an hour I leave because he tells me the phone is not compatible. This despite the fact that when I go I Consumer Cellular's website they have a "compatibility checker", which I use. It asks for the IMEI number which I provide and it says my phone is "compatible". When I get home I realize I have no service with Verizon. Back to Lincoln. I tell him I need my service back. He says, "sorry, that's for you to deal with". Spend time on Consumer Cellular's "chat" and they try to help but fail. Next day go to Verizon and they can't help me unless I get a transfer pin from Consumer Cellular. Next day go to the Target on Sunrise and they try to get the phone to work with no luck. They tell me they will email me a transfer pin. You guessed it. No transfer pin. Next day, back to Target on Sunrise. Told it will take a day or two. You guessed it. No transfer pin. So now, I am 6 days with no phone, I have a $350 dollar phone that is a paperweight that their website says it compatible. AND I've lost my former number. Verizon sold me their model of my phone and I'm back in service but you have no idea what a hassle it is when you lose your number and have to start with a new one. My sister and I visited this Target location a few months ago after my friend's baby shower. Compared to the Targets we normally visit, this Target location is well stocked with various items. Needless to say, we took our time browsing through the store to get what we needed and also to see what else they had. Customer service was great here. One of the staff members on the floor saw our confused look while trying to search for an item, so he stopped and asked if he could help us locate what we needed. Thankfully, he knew exactly what aisle our item was on. Once we were done, our cashier was very friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a nice Target to shop at, however, it's quite far from where we both live. I wouldn't mind shopping here again if we are ever back in the El Dorado Hills area. read more

Have used pick up many times during the pandemic. Loved it. Have been in the store several times. Today as we walked in noted all the mini storage containers in the parking lot. Thought they might be getting ready for Christmas (lol) or remodeling. Once inside yes, remodel. This place needs it. We have shopped here for thirteen years. Self check out has about eight people in line and two registers open one of which is flashing for help and nobody's coming to help so it is at a standstill. Only two registers with people checking out are open and those have about 4 to 5 people inline. One customer in front of me said the line has been at a standstill for five minutes. It is 10:30 in the morning on a Tuesday and the store is not crowded. read more

1/28/2019: I've been plotting, scheming shopping at "Tar-Chjay" ever since returning from London UK for quite a few reasons: 1. Selfie-stick for iPhone 7 Plus Previous selfie stick's connector only worked with iPhone 4/5-an earphone plug connector whereas the iPhone 7 Plus doesn't have either an earphone or microphone connector so, I gave the old selfie stick to my daughter's friend who owns an iPhone 5. 2. Australian Black Licorice I'm unsure how many people know about using black licorice candy as medicine but, eating a couple pieces helps me remove the residual coughing from the walking pneumonia I contracted in 12/17/2018-my last day in UK! This is one of the better Targets around. Not that that is saying much. It's a suburban store that is a little more accessible and a little better at keeping its shelves stocked, but it still has the stocking issues, the lack of helpful employees when you need them and the general hit-or-miss experience you get with any location. I enjoy popping in to grab an item or two when they have what I need, but just as often they don't. I recently came in looking for Fairlife milk, a basic game system they had a week beforehand and some bathroom supplies and only ended up with 1 out of 3. The foot and parking lot traffic can also vary greatly depending on time of season and time of day. Consider the pros and cons and visit at your leisure. read more

if I could put zero stars I would. Came here to purchase gift cards for Christmas for family and for a homeless shelter. Turns out, none of the gift cards work. I just checked one because I bought one extra. checked with my family about their's and they got the same result. Funny thing is as the lady rang up the cards, another staff member came to the front and stood a few feet away trying to act like she wasn't watching this lady ring up my cards. However, today the cashier at the register, who just started his shift, giving another guy a break, wiped his nose with his his bare hands and then rubbed it on his pants before handling my merchandise. There was hand sanitizer right there in front of him, which he didn't use. I didn't know what to say, so I said nothing and just used the hand sanitizer myself, knowing I would need it when handling my merchandise at home. read more

Valentine's Day 2022... I park and go I to ElDorado Hills Target. Come out to a smash n grab. My window broken and my purse gone... yes I know stupid me. The security came out and said they saw the whole thing and have pictures to prove it. WHAT why didn't you stop it scream at the guy! They even said it was done on Target property and they would reimburse me.... Uh yeah no they don't. They all say not their problem, not their property. Filed a police report and as I was doing so it happened again. They have no security on site. They have no signs saying anything, please be careful leaving your car in their parking lot. I always love target and will give them five stars, except the bathrooms are always disgusting. The bathrooms have always been subpar (which is the norm for most targets) but now that they have gotten rid of the paper, towel dispensers, and it is even worse. Since no one can dry their hands properly, there is water all over the floor, which then leads to wet muck all over the floor. The stalls seem to perpetually be out of toilet paper. Target is always more expensive than Walmart and usually more expensive than purchasing online, so you'd think they'd provide some paper towels and clean the bathrooms once in awhile. read more

My brother wanted his cellphone switched from Consumer Cellular onto my account on a different carrier. He's been trying to get his number transferred --ported, to my account. He contacted Consumer Cellular. They gave him the "transfer PIN code" so his phone number could be transferred to the new carrier. In the meantime, I'm spending hour after hour trying to get my brother's cell number transferred with no luck. Then I realized through internet research that they had failed to tell him that he would also need to "unlock" his phone to enable the new carrier's SIM card to work. I had to go online to figure out how to get the IMEI# of his cell phone so that he could contact Consumer Cellular...again, so they could give him an "unlock code" for his phone. During this entire attempt to get my brother's phone number transferred, Consumer Cellular was mostly unhelpful and rude. We've had to get two "transfer PIN codes" because the first one must have expired. And still they won't port my brother's phone number to the new carrier. Legally my brother has the right to take his number with him. And Consumer Cellular is doing everything it can not to let this happen. It's been 6 days trying to get this number ported, but they use every excuse in the book. I guess they try to punish their customers if they ever have the nerve to leave, and want to take their existing number with them. The account he is leaving is completely paid, and has no balance. And his phone is also completely paid off. Phone companies are required by law to port your number out when you start service with a new carrier. According to the FCC, a company can't refuse to port your number. I will definitely be reporting this matter to the FCC. How to file a complaint online at https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov, and/or call them at 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322). I will tell everyone I know not to do business with Consumer Cellular. "Putting the CON--in Consumer Cellular," should be your company's motto. read more

I'm not writing a complaint on this target just an employee. I came in tonight with my boyfriend and he went to check out a bike. An older employees almost instantly as he put his hand on the bike goes "aRe You goNNa bUY thAt". As I understand that must be a reoccuring issue of children riding them through the store. I'm not sure why these people have such a chip on their shoulders but they have a high turnover of employees & managers as I have noticed over the years and I don't think this place is ran properly. It's gone downhill. This is my neighborhood Target and I avoid it at all cost now. I travel to Placerville or Folsom if I need something specifically from Target...I never get attitude there. I have a manufacturer's coupon from Duracell for up to $20. The coupon wouldn't scan stating "Target does not accept coupon" Overweight store manager had an attitude was bragging that Target's stock price was up 20% in past two days. He refused to honor the coupon because I was upset I had to go through three other employees before I spoke with him. It cost me half an hour. I'm on my way to the other box stores. read more

Appreciations to Lexi who was very helpful a few weeks ago when I went in specifically to purchase organic blueberries for my oatmeal. I found the out of stock and asked a nearby team member if there were anymore in the back. Lexi quickly replied and informed me an order arrived that morning and indeed she would be able to get some for me! She returned with a box of the blueberries and let me choose my selection. I was able to get 2 of the packages and was very grateful that Lexi was so very informed and helpful with a friendly manner! Every visit into this store is normally a positive experience with helpful and friendly team members always ready to assist and answer any questions. Called and spoke with one of the associates on the phone asking if they had starbucks cold brew 40 ounce. The girl said let me check and she came back to the phone telling me they had 4 cases of it. Asked her to hold two cases and she said she would have to ask. She came back to the phone and said she could keep the two cases until closing. Drove from OV to EDH and she had put two glass small bottles at Customer Service for me to pick up. I was told she must of misunderstood what I was asking for. It's your average Target. My friend and I came in here to pick up a few things and ended up wandering our separate ways for about a half hour. I spent a lot of time looking over their women's workout clothing since I needed to pick up a couple warmer and affordable pieces. They had a decent selection, but did not have many things in my size, which was a bummer. I did find a pair of leggings and a long sleeve shirt that fit well, so that was good. My shopping experience quickly turned into an unpleasant experience due to a group of teenage kids. A group of girls were in the same area and they were making fun of me. Kids can be so cruel sometimes, so I acted like nothing was wrong and pretended like I did not hear them thinking they would move on. I knew they were trying to get a reaction out of me. They continued, so I calmly walked away to another section of the store. Every time I was in another section, there they were. I could overhear some of the things they were saying and it sounded like they were daring each other to do things and one thing involved something mean to me. Bullying people is never okay. I recognize that this is not Target's fault, but it does make me wary of shopping here again if these are the types of people who shop here. read more

Pretty disappointed in our local target yesterday. Sign on the door said new law dave mask required. Maybe 1/2 the customers had them in and the other half did not. No one at the door monitoring mask. Most employees had them but a few did not. A couple employees had mask on but they were pulled down covering their chins. Luckily grabbed what I needed and got the heck outta there ASAP. I'm not paranoid about covid, I just want everyone to follow the rules so we don't have to have another lockdown. read more
