Picture of Onyx Storm: Target Exclusive Edition (EDH)

1/21/25: Release of Onyx Storm/Target Addition I just wanted to shout out the gentlemen, who's name I unfortunately did not catch (working in the tech/entertainment department around 8am) for being so kind and helpful to us 30-50+ in line this morning looking to snag a copy. The Target exclusive copies were not on display but he went out of his way to locate the few that were available and assist us in distributing them when the other team leaders wouldn't. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You made my year and you should definitely be in a leadership position

I always enjoy going to Target with my daughter. Let's buy a lot of toys and household goods. We are glad that it is located close to ours and we have the opportunity to go there every day.

Cute picture from Tarjay...$12 on sale. Now hanging on my guest powder room wall. Lovely towels also.

The heart knows what the heart wants! My heart loves Tarjay in El Dorado Hills! And the CVS Pharmacy inside the store! But that is a review for another day:)! All Targets created equal? Me thinks not. This one seems smaller, more intimate and less busy then the Folsom location. And I like that. On certain days and at just the right time, the store is so quiet and peaceful. Brilliant marketing strategy to add the designer sections, Chip and Joanna Gaines and Studio McGee. I find it most tempting to sneak a peak as soon as all the new merchandise is rolled out on Sundays. But never on Sunday! Wayyyy too many peeps checking out the weekly new sales! Personally...I feel Target has done an exellantè job of duplicating many high end furniture and home dècor department stores' merchandise at "mucho" lower costs. And kudos to them. The consumer is the definite winner. The customer service is wonderful! Always helpful staff and such nice cashiers. They go beyond and above in all my experiences at this location. Truly! This is what makes this particular Target so special. So may I finish by stating I am a Tarjay snob and proud of it! Why would I want to pay more for that cute summer pillow or my fav artificial basket of outdoor grass at West Elm when it is right there waiting for me at the El Dorado Hills Target! Hmmmm...do I have an EDH Target addiction?:). Happy shopping!

    I LVE THIS TARGET!!!

To be honest, there wasn't much to write about except, there was some skeptical activity going on in the parking lot but the store was clean and it had everything I needed. I am not sure if it's a sacramento thing but the lighting in parking lots and on the streets is very bare. I am actually afraid to walk out at night..sketchy

Self check out has about eight people in line and two registers open one of which is flashing for help and nobody's coming to help so it is at a standstill. Only two registers with people checking out are open and those have about 4 to 5 people inline. One customer in front of me said the line has been at a standstill for five minutes. It is 10:30 in the morning on a Tuesday and the store is not crowded.

1/28/2019: I bought this because the dual shower head I bought at Home Depot was unsatisfactory-low H2O stream.

1/28/2019: I've been plotting, scheming shopping at "Tar-Chjay" ever since returning from London UK for quite a few reasons: 1. Selfie-stick for iPhone 7 Plus Previous selfie stick's connector only worked with iPhone 4/5-an earphone plug connector whereas the iPhone 7 Plus doesn't have either an earphone or microphone connector so, I gave the old selfie stick to my daughter's friend who owns an iPhone 5. 2. Waterpik Dual Shower Head TARGET's FYI URL: https://www.target.com/p/6-6-power-pulse-dual-shower-head-brushed-nickel-waterpik/-/A-53336064 This Waterpik shower head may operate both shower heads simultaneously whereas the shower head I bought at Home Depot in Fall 2017 won't simultaneously operate both shower heads which is an utter waste of money, i.e., an egregious disappointment. 3. Australian Black Licorice I'm unsure how many people know about using black licorice candy as medicine but, eating a couple pieces helps me remove the residual coughing from the walking pneumonia I contracted in 12/17/2018-my last day in UK! FYI: Licorice soothes the stomach: Licorice root is used to soothe gastrointestinal problems; in cases of food poisoning, stomach ulcers, and heartburn, licorice root extract can speed the repair of stomach lining and restore balance. This is due to the anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties of glycyrrhizic acid; however, some people take licorice by mouth for sore throat, bronchitis, cough, and infections caused by bacteria or viruses. 4. Organic Gummy Bears Removes, eliminating the licorice breath and taste in the mouth after consuming licorice. 5. Laundry Washing Products I'm discovering using the laundry product pods has its benefits especially, using while traversing the Planet: No toting bulky, plastic bottles/containers; just store in a Zip-Lock baggie placing them in your suitcase is cool. 6. Honest Grapefruit Hand-Sanitizer This brand doesn't use toxic substances formulating their hand-sanitizer: No triclosan, parabans, synthetic fragrances, benzo chlorine. 7. Combo comb and brush set Packing small is key so, using this set will eliminate packing a bulky hair brush; fits inside a small purse, too. 8. Woman's Tube Top I'll use this tube top as a substitute bra undergarment. 9. Dawn Apple Dish Detergent What can I say other than, I like the smell of green apples while washing pots and pans.

This is one of the better Targets around. Not that that is saying much. It's a suburban store that is a little more accessible and a little better at keeping its shelves stocked, but it still has the stocking issues, the lack of helpful employees when you need them and the general hit-or-miss experience you get with any location. I enjoy popping in to grab an item or two when they have what I need, but just as often they don't. I recently came in looking for Fairlife milk, a basic game system they had a week beforehand and some bathroom supplies and only ended up with 1 out of 3. The foot and parking lot traffic can also vary greatly depending on time of season and time of day. Consider the pros and cons and visit at your leisure.

I wasn't needing any "new to me" furniture, decor, or jewelry. But you know how that goes. This place is large in square footage. Stocked with gently previously owned furniture, home decor, and jewelry. The furniture quality is outstanding. The kinds of pieces solidly made not shoddy. The styles range from mid century, cherry wood Asian themed, modern farmhouse, and contemporary. So many styles. The pieces are staged in showroom type setting making everything eye catching, so much so I caught myself mentally doing a home makeup over in my mind. Hubs even found a framed lithograph art print of 1984 Laker Kareem Abdul Jabar by LeRoy Neiman. Then I happened upon the jewelry section. Letting out a big sigh, I luv looking at jewelry. They have beautiful pieces and some high end brands such as Rolex and Piguet watches, Tiffany. My eye was drawn to the vintage art deco jewelry set (necklace, bracelet, and earrings) of gold and lapis. Very unique. All the jewelry looked to be in excellent condition. The woman working the counter had a great attitude, so fun and easy to talk with. She entertained my gawking and questions. Not pushy in pressing a sale. Plus she was knowledgeable.

Things are well organized and in great condition. So many items from indoor/outdoor furniture, artificial plants, couch pillows, mirrors, framed art, and seasonal decor (see Mrs. Clause:)). There is also a Fine Jewelery section which you typically do not find at a busines like this. Setup like a department store... you may view the jewelry items under glass. Value? Well, the things I am typically looking for are artificial plants like a cactus for my patio or for an indoor area I am trying to refresh. They are extremely reasonable as opposed to Target or Home Goods. From reading the reviews, customers have found some nice items. Next time you are cruising through the TJ's parking lot and have some time on your hands consider a walk through this fun and interesting store. Who knows... you may find your very own special treasure! Happy shopping.

Now for the issue- I want to state that the saleslady that I worked with was super nice and was trying to work with me and her boss- I showed her the chair I was looking at. Online, it came up as 649.00. It wouldn't show that price on her end, it's 799.00. So I show her my phone, on their companies' website, with that price. She goes to her boss, twice, and he will not budge on the price. I was asked if I'd still like to purchase it, and I said no thanks, why would I pay $150 more for the same item...? So I came home, and I have just purchased it at the cheaper price online. Seems pretty lame that they lost a sale because they wouldn't honor the price that their online store shows... I felt bad for the saleslady, I'm assuming she works on commission so she had to lose out on a sale. I purchased a couch at this location about 7 years ago and was super happy with my purchase and the interaction. This time, not so much. Not sure if I'll even bother going in to try and purchase from them again.

I couldn't find anything I liked in the store so the salesman said they could order anything I wanted online. The salesman was nice so instead of just ordering myself I had him do it so he would get the sale. He didn't show me the itemized transaction and I was distracted (working from my phone) so I didn't ask to see it; that's my mistake. The frame was delivered 2 days later and it's the wrong frame; the salesman actually ordered the wrong frame and the delivery guys didn't check the order with me before assembling it. They were over an hour past the delivery window, it was the end of the day so I'm sure they just wanted to go home. Since it's been assembled I can't return it so I'm stuck with a frame I do not really like. It's my fault too for not checking but if the salesman or delivery man had bothered to check with me I would have caught it. I'm bummed, I've ordered Ashley furniture for years and never had any issues. This one just happens to be pretty huge,
