While there are a lot of good pharmacies in Folsom, This isn't one of them , Front Desk Lady named Jenna at the Pharmacy, is a total shame to this establishment, Rude, and Condescending, by nature, this employee wasn't nice at all one bit with any of my questions, and will likely also make your experience the same. With more than 20 pharmacies in Folsom, I advise anyone coming to pickup medication to go to a different pharmacy. I like the store in Folsom off Blue Ravine. I'd give them 4 stars but this is bigger than the Folsom store. I just learned while I was staying in Florida visiting an urgent care facility that once I told them where they could send any necessary prescriptions in the event I needed to be prescribed one they had total access to every medication I had been prescribed and filled via CVS over the past 2 years. This sorta freaked me out. So folks, please know that CVS shares your information, across the country, with any medical facility that has access to their system. Not over impressed with this CVS location. However I prefer this CVS as they do carry a variety of Generic RX my Insurance will cover and it is close to home. On more than one occasion they have not had an RX on the shelf that my 22 month sons pediatrician had prescribed. This was very inconviencing (due to my sons age) and I would have appreciated a call that this was the case prior to picking it up. Also my Insurance has changed in the past year and with the transition period they were unable to verify my eligibility at one point (not allowing me to pick up my RX). Having worked in the Health Insurance Industry I am familiar with the web sites used to verify this information and the CVS techs were not, this was very unprofessional. Recently I had an experience picking up an RX prescribed to treat an infection I had. The Pharmacist was quizzing me about HIPPA info and my diagnosis, this was extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable, and I almost took it to management. I do not recommend this CVS, I have had better experiences at their other location on East Bidwell next to Bel Air. read more

Came her with a scheduled appointment for the vaccine for my husband and I. When we checked in the pharmacy technician, Sabiha, asked for all of my information and then told my husband and I to take a seat. My husband was called up by the nurse to check in after waiting for 15 minutes. I watched two people ahead of me get checked in about 20 minutes later. I then asked the nurse why I am not being checked in and she informed me that she has no record of me getting the vaccine. I informed her that the pharmacy technician took all of my information and not my husbands. She was able to get me checked in but we had to wait about 45 minutes before getting the vaccine even with an appointment. I would not recommend coming here to get the vaccine as they are extremely unorganized and do not communicate with one another. I am very thankful that we are not getting our second dose at this location. read more

I've been going to this CVS locn for 6 yrs and encountered the rudest and most incompetent pharmacist, Christopher Pon. I was just released from the Mercy hospital to pickup my medication and had my 80-yr mother with me. My Rx was not ready because insurance would not approve dosage. I had to "tell" not "ask" the pharmacist to call the hospital for revise dosage approval which he immediately told me it'll take "awhile." I asked where the store's neuropathy cream was located which he promptly stated from the back counter they don't carry any. My mother asked him and his assistant whether they had a diabetes area in the store. Low and be hold there was the neon green/blue box of $30 cream we were searching. Neither the pharmacist nor his assistant attempted to show us where the diabetic area was. I've picked up OTC medications from both Walmart and CVS in Target where the pharmacist has been kind enough to come from behind the counter and help locate an item. I had to go to the front of the store and pay for the cream, return my mother to the car and return back to the Rx counter and my revised Rx was ready. The cost for 2 Rx was less than the $30 neuropathy cream. Ummmm!. I've filed a complaint with CVS regarding this pharmacist hoping no one will encounter his lack of professionalism again. I miss Long Drugs. If CVS hadn't bought out Longs, i'd still visit them everyday for little items. It's crazy how there are only 2 people working on the sales floor and then only 2 people in the pharmacy. Now that Save-Mart is gone im sure some people visit CVS for quick trips but its hard finding someone to ring you out.
