I spoke with the pharmacy technician, Fernando, who helped me with my questions. Fernando impressed me with his politeness, concern, and ability to answer most of my questions. My primary concern was the price of the medication prescribed by my doctor, thinking that my cost would be lower due to my Medicare Part D prescription plan. Before I could ask Fernando about options to reduce the price of the medication, he offered to check for any discount programs that might help with the cost. Fernando definitely came through! The medication, which was initially priced at $199.00 for a one-month supply, ultimately cost me only $38.00. Thanks to Fernando's exceptional customer service skills and assistance, I saved $160.00, representing an 80% discount. Lastly, I visited on September 1st, which coincided with Labor Day. Both Fernando and the pharmacist on duty, Alex, were exceptional. I was particularly grateful for Alex's time and patience; he took the time to explain everything to me in clear terms. He was taking care of the drive through, filling prescriptions, and managing the walk up counter and he did it with efficiency, knowledge, and kindness. As the owner, David, was walking out, I asked about what time they open the next day so I can come back to pick up my meds. He asked if I was just picking up or refilling my meds, and since I was just picking it up, he was kind to offer to go back in so he could get it for me. Technically, he didn't have to do that since they were already closed. I was so happy he saved me another trip, and at the same time, I was very thankful for the above and beyond service he provided. This Rite Aid is located right next door to SaveMart with plenty of parking available…read more What brought my husband and I to this location was that this Rite Aid has Amazon Lockers. We needed to make an order through Amazon and have it received at a locker and this location fit the bill. As soon as you walk inside, walk to your right and follow the perimeter of the store and you'll soon see them. It was easy for my husband to have the barcode scanned from his phone to get the locker to open. But the lady in front of us had trouble using the touch screen to try to get her package. Anyways, after we got our item, we decided to get some ice cream. We ended up getting: Double scoop of ice cream, $3.79- We opted to have this served in a bowl instead of a cone. We picked butter pecan and pistachio. The portion size of each scoop is pretty big and the ice cream was pretty good. What really surprised me is that for 2 large scoops, this was still cheaper than the single scoop that my husband and I had at Baskin Robbins the day before. You really can't beat good ol' Thrifty ice cream. But I do want to mention that you can't try a sample of the ice cream like you can at Baskin Robbins though. The one employee who helped us (he directed us to the Amazon Lockers when we first came in) with our ice cream was very nice and friendly. But the girl who initially helped us with the ice cream (and then switched places with this male employee for the register while he scooped up our ice cream) wasn't nearly as helpful or enthusiastic. Overall, we had a pretty positive experience and will definitely be back for some more ice cream in the near future.
