An elderly friend picked me up who is not their customer so when someone unknown went in to pick up my meds, which included controlled meds, the pharmacist, En Ling, promptly came out to the car to verify my presence and get my permission to hand them to my friend. After having been their customer for several years, I can safely say that this is not service I would have received at any of the big national chains. They are all invested in furthering my better health and overall success. I can say without equivocation that they are the best pharmacy I have ever had! I would have let it go for a dollar plus humiliation but after all that happened, the next night in my dream I met with my scary mugshot photo twin and he yelled at me because I created my ugly looking digital twin in another universe so he was pissed. I did not realize the stuff still existed. I had completely forgotten about it over the years. It's probably been 10 or 15 years since I've had the ice cream. Still the same set up as in the "olden days". Still the round scoops. Still good creamy ice cream. I just tried the mint chocolate chip. Although it did not have the strong mint flavor that Baskin Robbins used to have, it still was good. And the flaky pieces of shaved chocolate in it topped off the experience. They saw my package said it needed to be refrigerated and they did that. They also called Kaiser to ask if it was a mistake since they have no agreement with Kaiser for things like this. Kaiser called me immediately and verified my identity. Greg was the pharmacist who helped me out. He called a couple of times to Kaiser. Greg..: thank you for being so consistent. You had my diabetic medicine. The staff who also found my other meds at the access point got me my meds and then quickly went over to the checkout aisle to ring people up. She was amazing as well. I called to have them request it back and so I spoke to the owner Vijay Patel, which I never have had to before. He was very rude and wouldn't let me talk kept talking over me, yelling at me then ultimately he hung up in my face, while I was still talking. I have never had a bad experience with them until today with the owner wouldn't you think he would be nice right?! Everyone else who works there are always nice and sweet. So I was very hurt and shocked by the owner acting that way. If he continues to have his business I suggest that he learns human kindness and decency.
