I always like to post something positive about a business, but unfortunately this is not the case. The pharmacy is understaffed and wait times are terrible. Definitely avoid the drive through as I have waited at the window for 20-30 minutes multiple times. Pressing the call button does not help as you will be told "we will be right there" only to wait another 15-20 minutes. I understand being short staffed and it is a problem everywhere. But please, if you are not able to keep up with the demand of indoor customers and run a drive through, shut the drive through down. Yes, inconvenient, but it will save people a lot of time in the hopes of being serviced promptly. read more

If you need a prescription filled don't go here. They're extremely disorganized in the back, so much so that they have a hard time keeping track of inventory. I waited for my prescription for nothing, turned out they didn't even have it in stock. So I have to head back for a 3rd time. This review is SPECIFICALLY about the pharmacy, not the rest of the store. The pharmacy sucks. You can't get through on the phone; I've held well over a half-hour to speak to someone (where they keep picking up and immediately placing me back on hold) before being hung up on. They make mistakes (one rx was "one pill a day for ten days, yet they constantly filled it with just three pills, because the prescription was written for a 90 day supply, so divide that by three and you get... 3.33 pills a month.) Their drive thru is closed currently (April of 2023) and has been for months, because they are understaffed. They're pulling a pharmacist and staff from other locations (some of the staff are working AFTER completing their shift at another store that same day, I've been told by employees). Those poor employees! The understaffing leads to delays and mistakes. Plus a long, slow-moving line in the store to try and pick up prescriptions. This makes it difficult for people who are disabled and cannot stand for 30+ minutes to get their medications. It would take numerous attempts of going to the store, standing in line and playing Russian roulette with back and knee pain, hoping you can get your prescriptions and leave before your joints give out and you stumble and fall. I am SO glad I switched to the Rite Aid on Pacific in Lincoln Center last August, and just got my partner to move his prescriptions as well. It's a bit farther away from where I live, but at Rite Aid, I can get 90 day refills, pay through their app, AND they offer delivery from the store, so I don't even have to leave my home if I am unable to for any reason. I can get through to the pharmacy on the phone, most times without holding for more than a minute or two. read more

PHARMACY The pharmacy never picks up their calls. My husband stood in line and heard the phones ringing and no one ever picked it up. We've been waiting for our children's medication and they said the provider never sent it. We called our provider who had the address on file, called them, sent the prescription again and never got a response and they were on hold as well. I was on hold for over an hour each day and each time I called -- there was no point so I hung up. It takes too much time for us to drive back and forth so I'd rather call to see if prescription is ready. The automated service can't find my prescription with the phone number which is why I called. Nothing. Went in, nothing and no help. By the time we get the medication, my kids will have waited this long for what? You wait on hold and by the time you know it, it's their lunch. Over the last couple of months I've had some health issues that required medication. So I am a weekly visitor to WalGreens, both this location and the one on Harding Way. I understand that we are still in a pandemic. I try my best to be patient kind and thoughtful when interacting with staff. Having said that, WalGreens is no longer a dependable pharmacy. First, do not believe the hours that are posted on the website. You need to make a phone call and make sure the pharmacy is open. And be prepared that when you get there the pharmacy is closed. That's right, they will just close willy nilly regardless of business hours. I guess it's because they don't have staff but I've had this happen on three occasions. Second, for whatever reason I can't get my medication right away because the pharmacist is on break. I'm not sure what's going on here but there's some kind of password code they need to enter before they release the medication. I do not know if this is a Walgreens policy or a state of California law. I've tried looking it up and can't figure that out. Last week I needed antibiotics, I had to go to the store on three different occasions because the order wasn't received and the pharmacist was on break. It's maddening. Im not blaming staff. I am wondering if Walgreens is actually hiring enough staff and paying a decent wage. I figure I will use my mail order pharmacy through my insurance and look for another local pharmacy for emergency medications. They first off extremely rude in this location. Second if you are sick after 6pm don't bother trying to get cold medicine here. You have to buy all the cold medicine through the pharmacy and it closes at 6pm. If you ask someone about it they cop an attitude about it, as if they are above answering questions. I had a vaccination appointment at 11 am, so I came in early at 10:30 am to fill out paperwork and have my insurance processed. The pharmacy technician took my paper and insurance card to input into their system. For some reason, their computer couldn't bill my insurance so they wanted me to pay about $75 out of pocket. I had to call my insurance and get a representative to tell them how to input my information correctly. Even after the walk-thru, the technician was still unable to do it. She reassured me that they will find a solution and to wait for a call back later in the day. I had plans but I needed my vaccination. I canceled my plans and waited for their call around 1 pm. Well guess what? They never called me AND didn't pick up my follow up calls. When I drove back to the pharmacy, the same technician said, "Oh, I meant to call you. Let me finish verifying your insurance information again." What was the point of me waiting for 2 hrs? She only started checking on my information again once I got there. After I waited some more, she told me that she still couldn't do it so I should "maybe check out CVS." You have got to be kidding me. Either this technician wasn't adequately trained or she's just useless. I left and went to Safeway's pharmacy. I got my insurance verified and my vaccination within 10 mins, top. If you want quality service from well trained staff, go to Safeway instead. Don't waste your time trying to get help from this Walgreens like I did. The WORST pharmacy (660 W March Lane). Had MULTIPLE issues with 2 of our physicians having to reorder prescriptions 3 times because why???????? One important cardiac med took almost 2 weeks to refill. My prescription ran out while waiting. The result required a visit to the cardiologist last week due to problems that reoccurred . I asked who the director/manager in charge was and was told they didn't have one. Well maybe that explains it all!! So we both have transferred our prescriptions to Target CVS. Great order and pickup staff but I won't be back for the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are very unreliable, don't follow the hours posted and will take a lunch in the middle of business hours. Had an appointment at 2PM and they were 'out to lunch' didn't return until 245 when they stated they would return at 215. Location is next to the Kung fu tea; parking lot does have some interesting individuals at night so park close to the front door. The service here has gotten even worse. This is the only pharmacy that will fill veterinary prescriptions that we know of so we are forced to use them. We called in our dogs prescription on Monday. On Wednesday we came in to pick it up and had to wait in line for an hour. They then told us our vet had denied the refill. I called the vet the next day and they assured me they had faxed the refill over but would do so again. Today at 2:00 I came in and waited 45 minutes to get to speak to a staff member. They told me that the prescription had been denied by our vet. I told them that was absolutely untrue and they then admitted they did not have the script. I asked them to call the vet but they refused . I then had to drive to our Vets office and get a paper script. After returning to Walgreens and waiting another 35 minutes they told me they would have to call the vet to verify the prescription. I asked them why they did not do that earlier and they just stared at me. I am now on hour 3 waiting to get 45 pills placed into a plastic container for my dog. The March Lane store in Store, CA has the worst service that I have experienced. Every time that I have an order sent there, they do not start processing the order until I have stood in line for about an hour to request it. Often, I get a message saying there was an error only for me to spend 40 minutes on hold and get told that the medication is there and there isn't a problem. I wasn't able to get my birth control for months because they wouldn't fill it and I couldn't reach anyone. Recently, I placed an order for my son's asthma medication (so he can breath). After 6 days of it stating pending, I called to ask about it. I waited on hold for 40 minutes. I was told that the medication is there and they'll have it by the next day. Their excuses are that it is busy and they are short staffed, but if they aren't able to provide medication timely, then the store shouldn't be operating. My son needs his medication, but it has been delayed for over a week due to the staffs inability to perform their jobs. I will be absolutely changing pharmacy, but honestly, the lack of service is inexcusable. read more

So this is one of the newest Walgreens in my beloved city of Stockton. You'll catch good deals if you have a Walgreens card. I do like ,that this location has a Redbox Kiosk inside. This location is new so everything looks great and is always very clean. The staff is pretty nice and friendly. When I do browse around , the staff is very helpful. This location has a Pharmacy and a Photo Center. I haven't noticed anything different from the other Walgreens, I've been to. Pretty much the same o , same o.
