This place is horrible for their customer service. Called them 3 times to cancel an online order instead of them taking the time on the phone with me to cancel my order one placed me on hold twice. When it rang again I spoke to another person while helping me she's speaking to another person in store. And she stated she will cancel the order and hung up thinking she is cancelling the order. Come to find out she doesn't cancel this order and says your order was picked up. Like what ? Call back and another lady answers and says ok I'll tell them to cancel. Saying she couldn't do it she'll tell her manager. I mean why can't you do it while I'm on the phone again hangs up. What is happening with customer service these days? Is it not being taught. Are people just not courteous or nice anymore. This is your typical drugstore. The aisles are clean and the shelves are stocked for the most part. There was no line at the cashier which is always a plus in my opinion! Also the cashier asked for my rewards number, I appreciate that so much as I would not have remembered to use it as I don't shop at Walgreens often. The reward add up to a cash value so using the loyalty rewards program will add up to free cash you can use on a purchase but you can't get the cash ( just need to say this in case anyone is confused about how loyalty rewards programs work). All in all they were above average as other stores shelves are not as stocked nor are their employees as helpful. Great place to go for vitamins, which is why I went. read more

I like the location of this Walgreens. The park is good too. I went on 6/9/23 for passport photos (for myself and my parents). And yes, I know I could have taken my own photos and saved some money by doing it on my own but I rather have someone else do it. If something is wrong with the pictures, I can blame them. LOL. The whole process took about 20 minutes for 3 sets of passport photos. Overall, a smooth process. read more

This Walgreens has GREAT customer service! Every time I come in, I am greeted and asked if I need help. Today was especially wonderful because the Pharmacy Tech by the name of Shaina was at the front register and was so kind, helpful and personable. She really made my day as she made me feel like I was the only person in the store and gave me attentiveness I am not used to! I went in to quickly grab some Polaroid film and she assisted me in finding it. Although the price was a little bit more than I usually pay at Walmart or Amazon... I decided to get it because of her positive attitude and friendly/helpful demeanor. Exemplary customer service! I will continue to go to this Walgreens as I always have a positive experience. 1. Arrived at the drive thru pharmacy and the pharmacist said the prescription had the wrong amount and to please go back around in a line I already waited 20 minutes in. Why didn't they find and fix this issue when initially filling the prescription. 2. Went back around and there is no signage to indicate there are two lanes, so I got stuck another 30 minutes while cars that had got there well after me were helped. 3. Took my daughter for a scheduled COVID test and the instructions in the email are completely incorrect and there is no signage outside to indicate what to do. Wasted 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do. All of this could have been prevented by having correct signage outside and to have a good QA/QC process in place. And you should never make a customer go to the back of a long line they already waited in once. read more

I went to the pharmacy and was informed they don't take Kaiser insurance, some do, some don't. This one doesn't. So I asked if they can send the prescription over to the Lower Sac. They told me to call tomorrow because the system was down. They also told me to call this Walgreens and that I wouldn't need to call Lower Sac. So I called today and another worker told me I need to call Lower Sac. Please stop wasting customers time and get your information correct. read more

I have tried for five hours to just get a simple antibiotic. First, one site in Stockton closed temporarily. The second site closed all but the drive through, but it takes 10 to 15 minutes per car. Seven ahead of me And it's the second time line because they failed to fill it when ordered. My insurance has better prices because of a Contract with Walgeens. I went to the dentist And had a tooth removed. I went to Walgreens to fill my prescription for pain medication. They told me my dentist didn't have the right Licensing to fill the medication. I argued with them over and over again. I had to have my dentist call. Then the manager called me and told me some BS story story about how it was my insurance that denied it. They ended up filling it but way to go Walgreens.. Next time take a minute to double check what you're trying to find out. And then to call me and say it was my insurance lol what a joke. The Pharmacy staff has the WORST customer service ever! They also have no back up for when their "system is down" and cannot fill prescriptions for sick customers and don't know how to appropriately handle this situation. The "system is down" is really an unacceptable answer. When their system was down and couldn't fill my prescription, not once did someone apologize or acknowledge how inconvenient it is for someone who is sick (ME) to have to come back at some unknown time to pick up something that is intended to make me well. The Pharmacy Manager and Assistant Manager just didn't know how to do the right thing and manage an upset customer by simply apologizing and just filling the prescription and getting me out of there! All they could do was talk at me, over me and over each other or in the assistant manager's case - not even know how to deal with an irate customer. Also, I was paying for my prescriptions in cash. When I asked what one of the medications was going to cost it was $21.99. When I went to CVS (March Lane), where I eventually got my prescriptions filled, the same medication was $18.09. Not only does Walgreen's have incompetent staff, they also have hirer prices. Let's see if I actually get a call from a headquarters manager within 24 hours. read more

This is the WORST pharmacy i have ever been to. i am a long time Walgreens customer, i use them whenever i need perscriptions filled as all walgreens pharmacy customers are keep in a system which is used for all walgreens. This i find very helpful. i am recuperating from surgery in Stockton, at my folks' house. While here i needed several prescriptions filled, some from my surgery and another, that i take regularly, my Birth Control. When i go to pick up said birth control, i am informed that it had been discontinued. OK fine. I call my Doctors office, (Who is quite diligent, i might add) and request a new prescription, which my Doctor sends over. i call the pharmacy back to let them know that a Script is on its way, and to let me know when it is filled as i am not well and have a hard time getting out of bed. I never hear from the pharmacy, what they do is find the last packet of my discontinued BC, and send me that. i ask the pharmacy if they had received my new script, and a very grumpy unhelpful lady says "we have nothing, there are 8 people working here." Not sure what she's trying to tell me by that. So i call my Doc's office AGAIN, and they nicely resend the script. AGAIN i hear nothing from the Pharmacy. I call for a 3rd time, and finally someone attempts to explain whats going on. Here is what i got: "your script cannot be filled because it has been discontinued. Your Doctor sent a note saying fill an equivalent type of BC, which is not considered a script. So we can't help you." its like pulling teeth with these people. I am SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED with the service in this pharmacy. It took a whole week to get answers, and now, its Saturday, and my Doc's office is closed. so i am stuck, between a rock and a hard place until Monday morning. Needless to say, i am not sending my script there. i'd rather drive to the other side of Stockton, or back home to Oakland to get my stuff done right. so, long story short, here is the key point; don't go to this particular pharmacy, the rest of the store could be just fine, but avoid the pharmacy counter like the plague of Black Death. read more

The pharmacy wait is horrible. In the drive thru and at the counter. I was just sitting in the drive at the window for 20 mins without a hello, hi, please wait a second, nothing. Had to leave cause I couldn't sit and wait any longer (this doesn't include the additional 20 min wait I waited for the car in front of me) . The few times I've gone to the counter I've had to wait well over 30 mins also. And these times are to just pick up refill prescription that I've sent already through their online system. The store itself is fine but the pharmacy area is the worst. I was in line for the pharmacy pick up and drop off, but went to the consultation window after waiting in line. This area has no time management skills nor do they seem to care for customer service. When I was finally helped, the person at the window told me to get back in line, after waiting for a while.
