Customer service! They use to have great service! I had switched from CVS to Rite Aid it's been over 3 yrs or more & they were attentive very professional yet personal meaning u felt they cared! However not anymore when u call in to check on ur prescription they say "please hold & never ever come back to the phone! I know exactly whom it is bc he has an accent & always answers the phone! I came here to get my Covid booster. I also come here to get my flu shot. The pharmacist is friendly, gentle, and professional. I like that there is a private room to administer the shots. I took my son here today to have his passport photo taken. Everyone who helped us was so friendly. My son was getting restless and didn't want to sit still for his photo to be taken so one of the employees grabbed a couple of stuffed animals to focus on. She grabbed his favorite paw patrol character to keep him focused and then she bought it for him! I wish I would have caught her name so I could mention her in my review. She has blue-ish lavender hair. But she was so sweet to buy that stuffed animal for my son. It made his day! Use their pharmacy for my grandson's rx which had to be transferred from CVS. I do not know who's is at fault but it took almost a week to get it transfer and get his rx. Not good for a child who has an ear infection! Once they got it, it was fine and the personnel were friendly and courteous. I had to call CVS to check on the status multiple times that RiteAid states the fax never came over. read more

This used to my favorite pharmacy as it's super close to me and love their services but today changed all of that! I stopped in today to pick up a few items, while waiting in line I watched one of their cashiers racially profile one of their customers. An older blonde lady with bangs and a braid was the cashier greeting customers as they walked in. POC male walks in past the cashier she says welcome but stares him down and continued to watched him glaringly until he walked to the back of the store. As a POC myself I've seen that look plenty of times when I walk into a store! Funny thing is she didn't give the same look to a non POC who walked in after him, hmmmm wonder why? I made sure I confronted her and told her I noticed what she did. She acted like she didn't know what I was talking about but I could see the guilt in her face! No more putting up with this crap! We're calling you out now! If your a POC I'd avoid this store unless you like to be profiled. This was my last time shopping here, c'mon get it together!!! read more

Tammy is a rude, nasty, and condescending woman. Not sure of her last name, but on Sunday 5/7/17 at 2:49 pm, she used her key and walked in on me in the ladies restroom. No apologies, very rude, arguing with me that I "didn't lock the door", when I most certainly did. She claimed she didn't use her key when she clearly did, and didn't knock. Refused to apologize. Just argued with me from the back of the store to the front registers. When she wasn't texting on her phone that is. Told the on duty supervisor, Jennifer, and she did nothing. Both were very rude. I dont normally do reviews however my last experience was superior. I had to jump on here and make a review. Best experience I have EVER had, especially in this store. I came in late the other day and was impressed from the second I walked in. I was welcomed into the store WITH A SMILE and was asked how I was doing. First off, thats a huge change from my previous visits. I think the guys name was Nate. While I was shopping I couldnt find a few items that I was looking for but Nate noticed me looking around and stopped what he was doing and asked me if he could assist me. That is another HUGE change from my previous experiences at this store. Normaly I'd be walking around and if I asked for help from the people cashiering I'd feel like I was interupting their "sit down" time. This time however, when I went to go pay the casheir was Justin. In the past Justin never smiled. Nice kid, but he always made me feel like he did not want to be there. He never smiled and just gave off this vibe of not caring. This time around it was completely different. He smiled, asked me if I found everything I needed, had a nice small conversation while he checked my things, and then thanked me for choosing Riteaid when we were done. I asked who the manager was and i was told it was Nate. THIS GUY IS A KEEPER!!! The last time i went shopping here was about a couple of weeks ago and since then this little store has already changed for the better. LOVE my Rite Aid in Lincoln Center! Frank, Andrea and the lady with the long curly hair. They are so helpful, friendly and willing to put up with me and my coupons. They almost always have sale items in stock, unlike a competitor who shall be unnamed (CVS). I just moved to Stockton about 2 years ago from LA and this is my STORE OF CHOICE. Their Plenti rewards program is awesome if you use it right. THEIR WEEKDAY EMPLOYEES , whom I mainly deal with, are always willing to go out of their way to help me. My mom recently had to have a passport pix taken. When she got home there were no pix in the envelope. I went to the store two days later and told Andrea what happened. She found my mom's pix and gave them to me with an apology. They're almost like family. read more

My mom LOVES this store. I am not my mom. They do get an extra star for the fact that she likes this location so much. I see Rite Aid and CVS as basically the same store. It's almost a combination between a 7-Eleven and a Safeway. Convenience with a price that reflects that convenience. I try to avoid them because of the simple fact that if I have to buy basic items like shampoo or food they always end up being a good 25 percent more expensive than Walmart or Target. The sale items are decent, but that might be the only time I would actually want to buy something here. The shining star of this location is the pharmacy. My mother has been getting her medication at this location ever since they were at their old location (where Thrifty used to be) and they have always really taken care of her. The employees know her by name and she knows most of the people who work in the pharmacy by name as well. I would probably give this Rite Aid a 1 or 2 star but because they take care of mom so well they get a 3 star. I guess maybe you could get your medications here and just make sure to get your everyday items down the street at Target. :0) read more

I was in Stockton visiting and had a prescription filled while in town. When I returned, I used the drive through. When I returned the store had slowed down so I had time for a couple questions... My concern was side effects, mixing other meds etc. The pharmacist, "Rachda", seemed to be there alone and was so helpful and delightful I felt as though she was an old friend! I think we talked for about 40 mins, luckily no one came in, and it was obvious she wanted to answer all my questions. I will use this pharmacy when in town due to this one woman who showed compassion and concern for my health! What a lovely human being... She chose the right profession! read more

This is absolutely the worst drive-thru pharmacy I have ever experienced. I can never come here without having to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to just acknowledge me. I'm always the only person in the drive-thru and the workers inside just ignore me and won't make eye contact. Everything takes forever for them. They ask your name, then it takes them 5-10 minutes to come back to tell you there's some kind of problem. They're unwilling to help the patient at all. I learned quickly and would immediately turn my engine off after hitting the call button. I started bringing homework to work on while waiting for someone to just help me in the drive-thru. It's seriously appalling to me how horrible this pharmacy is. read more

I like Rite Aid. My issue is that this week's circular had an in store coupon for Colgate. My sister informed me about this offer that after the circular coupon is used, the price goes down to $.50. I made a special trip to the Pacific Avenue store and got a circular/flyer. Lo and behold, the coupon for Colgate had veen neatly cut out. I looked at all the circulars in the stand and they were all cut out. I checked the display of Colgate and the product(s) in the coupon were still available. The flyers were neatly stacked on the stand and all the Colgate coupons were neatly cut out. If Rite Aid does not want to sell the product for the low cost to its customers, why out it in the flyer? Is this a case of false advertising? I did not bother to find out the reason for the cut out coupon and now wonder if this applied only to this particular store or to all Rite Aid stores. read more

I have such a hard time getting my medication here. I'm a diabetic who's pregnant and they seem to not understand the concept of a refill. I have not been able to get my syringes in weeks. I get like 5 at a time and have to keep coming back for samples or a little pack. I have a busy life and this makes things harder. Had an issue getting my insulin right before this too. Also, they are so slow and just chit chat so much it's annoying. If other people are not in line then fine talk your life away but if other customers are on in line then please just do your job. read more

Just came from this Rite Aid and spoke with a female Hispanic pharmacist that was rude! (I wish I had gotten her name) I was told that my insurance wasn't going to cover my normal asthma medication and I asked her what medication she thought worked best because I was given several recommendations from my physician. I thought that if perhaps both of them mentioned the same one, I would try it. She was very evasive and acted like she didn't want to help me at all! I could not get any information out of her about anything! For heaven sake I see the commercials on TV and I wasn't looking for her to write me a prescription, lol! I went into the pharmacy of Rite Aid after I had taken out my wisdom teeth one day. So I wait at the counter for someone to help me. Some older asian lady approaches me, and says, "Can I help you?" like she was annoyed by me already. I didn't really care about her not greeting me or being unfriendly or whatnot. At this point, I just wanted to get my meds and go home to change the gauze I was biting on. So I give her my prescription, and ask her for the last two meds on the prescription. She replies, "We can't do that, we have to give you everything that's on her." So I'm like "the oral surgeon says the antibiotics are optional, but if you can't do it, I'll just take everything that's on there." She looks at me like I didn't understand her and repeats, "we can't give it to you if you only want 2 out of the 3 (glares at me)." So I repeat, "it's fine. I'll just take everything." She looks at me like she did not understand me. So I say, "I'll have everything that's on the prescription." The lady asks me for my address and information, so I gave her my ID (It was really hard to talk at the time.) I guess she assumed I was being rude, and says. "I don't like your attitude." I look at her and say, "what??" Here I was with my mouth full of bloody gauze from taking my wisdom teeth out 20 minutes ago. I just wanted my meds. She rants on about how she didn't like the way I was speaking to her. I don't know if she expected me to smile at her while I was biting down on gauze or whatever. I was clearly under some kind of pain, and she knew I had just come from the oral surgeon because it said so on the prescription. So my aunt comes in and explains that I had just gotten my wisdom teeth out, but she still thought I was being rude. Wow, talk about lack of empathy. Nevertheless, I left the store immediately and got my prescription somewhere else. Worse customer service ever. Never going back.
