They saw my package said it needed to be refrigerated and they did that. They also called Kaiser to ask if it was a mistake since they have no agreement with Kaiser for things like this. Kaiser called me immediately and verified my identity. Greg was the pharmacist who helped me out. He called a couple of times to Kaiser. Greg..: thank you for being so consistent. You had my diabetic medicine. The staff who also found my other meds at the access point got me my meds and then quickly went over to the checkout aisle to ring people up. She was amazing as well. Saying she couldn't do it she'll tell her manager. I mean why can't you do it while I'm on the phone again hangs up. What is happening with customer service these days? Is it not being taught. They will notify when your prescription is ready for pick up. Another method...you can scan the barcode on your prescription bottle using the Walgreens app, they refill your prescription and notify you when it's ready to pick up. And you can pick up your prescription at this particular store 24/7/365...using their drive-thru service. All very convenient! BUT...do not try to get through to the pharmacy on the phone. Their hold/wait times can be unacceptable. I called a couple months ago and was on hold for over 30 minutes. Yesterday I needed to speak with the pharmacy and was on hold for 23 minutes. During that 23 minutes I drove across town and was sitting in their drive-thru line by the time they answered!! That is totally unacceptable. There's a good chance that I might have to transfer my prescriptions to another provider. I do hope they read their reviews and fix the problem!
