This store is located in the Trader Joe's shopping center on the opposite end. Whenever we are in the area, I have to check out their products and any surprise sales going on. Joe K and I are very serious when it comes to improving and maintaining our health, whether it be through diet, exercise or supplementation.  Joe is motivated into conquering his congestive heart failure and weight, by continually doing his own research via books and online.  Through trial and error, he is actually getting a promising handle on losing weight and feeling more energetic.  I am just as motivated as he is, with the additional concerns of looking and feeling old before my time.  We are both in agreement that getting old sucks! We have been trying hard to eat right and take special supplements that promise a better life through the inevitable aging process.  I have been to many health food stores and vitamin aisles never knowing if what you consume is really what you get.  Instead of running around to different stores all over town why not go to our local GNC?  What a concept!  I appreciate that these time honored stores have franchises all over the place! Before we knew it, I was finding all kinds of supplements that I was interested in!  Sometimes they are hard to find or just too expensive elsewhere!  I couldn't believe how reasonably priced most products were too! When they say first impressions last a lifetime well its true. Asked my fiancée to go pick up some supplements since i was at work and it was 7pm when she called me to say the store was closed with one of the workers inside. Really closed 2 hrs early. Great GNC location. What really struck me was how knowledgeable and helpful the guy was who worked there. He took us through a few protein supplements and was able to tell us almost everything about them. He also made his rounds to talk to other people in the store and eventually got back to us again in case we had any other questions. Really awesome service. We ended up buying 2 containers of the GNC protein supplement and signing up for a gold card. Totally worth it. Oh, and we purchased a couple of blender bottles. So far, everything has been fantastic. Definitely, my go-to GNC store. read more

Called store today (12/18/15) at 7:13 pm to get information about making a return (within the 30 day policy) and I received nothing but terrible and extremely unprofessional customer service from the store manager Darrell Parsons. I made a purchase online (via PayPal) and did not have my receipt. I do have the confirmation of payment and order number which was sent to my email when I made the purchase. He kept insisting that he needs a paper receipt to keep for records. He also said "I would need proof that you actually bought the items and to see how much you paid for them. I told him I don't have a printer but I can show proof of the online purchase confirmation. He did not know how to handle my return and tried to pass the buck to have me ship my products rather than personally handle the return. I told him I'd rather return the products Instore instead of shipping (which I am entitled to do). His demeanor changed from bad to worse as the conversation carried. I remained calm during the entire call as he got more rude by the minute. He then asked for my personal information (name and phone number) so that he could contact customer service (tomorrow) and call me back with an answer. I told him I don't see a reason why I need to give him my personal info if customer service is closed. He literally said "I don't see why you don't want to give me your name & phone number what's the big deal?" I was appalled by the way he spoke to me let alone hand this man my personal information. After that, I asked for the name of his regional manager and he responded with "I'm not gonna give you that information have a good night," and hung up on me... I have never received atrocious customer service in my life let alone from a STORE MANAGER! I will definitely escalate this matter to his bosses. read more

I really like this GNC but they don't stock the right size stuff that I like. I've been trying to use them as my go-to for supplements but every time I go they tell me to visit the Vitamin Shoppe near Sprouts. I have no complaints of the Vitamin Shoppe and always end up going there but it just strikes me as weird that GNC always has to tell me to try another business. They tell you that part of their service and guarantee is that they will price match. Ive gone to a few other locations and they were able to price match the C4 prework out found at costco with no problems at all. I recently went to this location in hopes to do the same thing and the manager gave me such a difficult time. He first didnt want to till i called a differnt location, while on speaker, and they agreed to do so. Came in a second time to do the same thing and dealt with the same manager. Again, he didnt want to do it. How do you provide a service for me the first time and decline to do so a second time? read more

Great location, very knowledgeable staff, awesome products. They are currently under new management which is great! The staff is incredibly well educated and up to date on all supplements and they're always eager and happy to help. They give you great recommendations based on your specific needs and goals and the products are always very effective. Not to mention, they have an awesome selection. I recently visited this GNC store after reviewing products from their website. When I found what I was looking for I noticed the pricing was much higher that GNC'S website. I asked the girl working why it was so high and if they would match GNC's online price and she had no answer and said she could not match the price. I found this to be very inconvenient and a wasted trip thinking I would find the same pricing the have online. I suggest looking online before shopping here and see how over priced they are cause I saved $50 by shopping online and that's with shipping. This GNC needs to get with the program and have consistent pricing for all stores and online. read more
