I don't usually write reviews, but after today, I felt like I had to. I've been coming here since 2020, and it's always been one of my favorite pickup spots. The team is usually great--friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. VERY VERY RARE bad experience or rude staff Today, though, the energy was off (security) If existing.... (-10) stars My tender, Billy, was awesome--kind, attentive, and kept things moving smoothly. It is what it is sometimes waiting even ordering ahead... He still thanked the express line for their patience. But the security guard on duty around 5:20 PM (Tuesday, October 21) was flat-out dismissive. Noted date/time simply for shift exchanged employees so hopefully can be narrowed down to whom is awful. BUT, regardless, I have never had this experience with their security team. Even if they didn't talk too much, they still greeted me and were polite. She was a completely different case. Maybe she was having a bad day??? She: -No greeting, no acknowledgment the entire time, just a smug attitude that made it clear she didn't want to be bothered. From the moment I walked up, checking my ID- to scanning door, to the time I left, her energy was cold and unwelcoming. No verbal communication whatsoever... That kind of attitude leaves a bad taste and sets the wrong tone for the rest of the visit. It's not that I expect anyone to roll out the red carpet for the clients--but basic manners aren't optional when you're the first person customers interact with. A simple greeting or even basic courtesy goes a long way. Literally is in your job description. I'm not asking or judging you to do anything extra. I'm sharing this because this place is usually solid and believe it will continue to be. Simply leaving this review in hopes for the awareness for the business and to consider who is chosen to greet customers being the first point of contact. read more

I recently stopped by this dispensary for the first time, and had a great experience. When I told the receptionist that this was my first time in, she gave me a 'First Time Visit Ticket' for a 'premium in house brand indoor 8th for $1' with a purchase of $50 or more, valid for up to two weeks. The selection was a little overwhelming. I have been to dozens upon dozens of dispensaries, and most do not carry anywhere near as many different varieties of products as Connected does. They carried practically every brand and every product I've ever (recently) heard of. There were only a few people ahead of me in line, which gave me a little time to look around. By the time it was my turn, I still had a lot of questions. Luckily, the budtender was patient. I ended up purchasing a disposable vape pen, which happened to be defective. In all my years of smoking, this was only the second defective vape I've ever found-- but, that's not the dispensary's fault. It's a completely random result of the manufacturing process. Luckily, the exchange process was smooth. I let the receptionist know what happened, and she had me go in the express line. The budtender quickly swapped out the defective cartridge for a new one, which worked as expected. The price was very reasonable, especially because the cartridge that I chose happened to be on sale. It happens when there's good stuff at a good price. Price includes taxes! Yes, they're in a rough part of town -aren't all dispensaries? You're never gonna find one next to a Whole Foods, Felicia. Yes, they take online reservations, so you can skip (it's not cutting; have you never been to a restaurant with a reservation?) the line. I've loved connected since back in the day when it was called Collective Efforts! Great people, better products, amazing prices. Anyone saying that they are not organized, or call people out of order are wrong and probably have never heard of express. If you order online ahead of time, you get called back immediately. I've seen others look confused when this happens, thinking they're being "cut". Lots of bad reviews on here for exactly that. I've seen fights almost break out because of it. Pros: friendly and helpful budtenders, friendly and proactive security, and a very wide range of products. Cons: rough neighborhood, small parking lot (often no parking if very busy), Fruitridge is a busy road, so getting out is always a hassle. Wordage on deals are also an issue on deals. I went for the buy one bloom get "1 GSC or Blue Dream cart for $1". When I order it online the deal didn't come up and I thought it was a mistake. When I get there I brought it up to my budtender and he could see the error too. When he brought it up to the manager, he said it's only for the GSC. It's irritating that you advertise one thing but say another at the store. read more
