On 9/25/25, I called to see if they had my prescription, I was told by Nathan that they didn't have it and I should call them back the next day. I called the next day and the phone rang unanswered. Finally, Nathan told me that they hadn't received their shipment yet, but I should check back after 11:00am. I called after 11:00am and he told me that they didn't get it. When I asked to speak to the pharmacist, she wouldn't take my call. Instead, she kept giving instructions to Nathan (who appeared to be very intimidated by her). I was told that this medication is difficult to get but he would try to find it at another Bel Air pharmacy. I finally just told him I would call back on Monday. I called back on Monday, 9/29/25 and was told to call back after 11:00 am. When I called back, again no one would answer the phone. I tried for 20 minutes to talk to someone. I finally got the pharmacist on the phone (that was a miracle). She VERY SLOWLY and indifferently said "Could you please hold". I said "No, I've been trying to get ahold of you for 20 minutes." Then she said, "How can I help you?" I told her I've been trying to get my medication refilled but nobody answers the phone. She told me, "We are two people down and we've got three customers in line." Then, I remembered that this was the exact thing she had told me last month when I couldn't get someone to answer the phone! (If two people called in sick AGAIN, then she is the reason they didn't want to come to work.) She told me that the medication is still not in, and I would have to call back. Not doing this again. I wound up calling the highest rated pharmacy on Yelp and spoke with Martha who answered the phone after the first ring. What a breath of fresh air! She was so pleasant and nice. She took all my information and ordered the medication. My medication will be in their pharmacy by tomorrow without fail. I had forgotten what good service was. As a result, all my prescriptions will be transferred from Bel Air to them and I will buy my groceries elsewhere. I only took 35 of the 90 pills prescribed because the last time I took new pain meds from a different manufacturer I got very sick. So they owe me 55 pills which now they will not give me because they claim the prescription is not longer valid. Again, the patient gets screwed. Here were my choices, 1) take the new manufacturer and get sick and then have to find the original manufacturer and have to pay out of pocket because the prescription has been fillled, 2) only take what they had and get screwed because I only get 35 out of 90 pills and have to get a whole new prescription because Bel Air won't honor what they owe me! Mike never suggested for me to go to another store or even said he would call around to see which other Bel Air had it. If they dont have what Ive been using then they should give it when they have it and none of this Bullshit new prescription. Again, its not my fault they they changed manufacturer!! Either way, the Patient gets royally fucked over. I also have to say, I was talking to Emily and she kept saying she didn't change manufacturer, the purchasing Dept did. Are you kidding me? I sure didn't change it and Emily represent Bel Air. Duh!! All this just because Bel Air changed manufacturer. In addition, while I was talking to Mike, this young blond girl buts in when nobody was talking to her so she should keep her trap shut if nobody is talking to her, idiot bitch. Needless to say, I will no longer be coming to this particular Bel Air Pharmacy. The best people here were Able and Stacy, I hope they move on to something better which won't be hard. I am writing this negative review because of how unreasonable my experience was. I stopped by the store this afternoon to get a few items. There was a shopping cart with various items in it, like mugs, s'more sticks, etc., and the shopping cart was labeled "75% off" for members. In the cart was also several small fruit cutting boards. I liked them, so I took three. There was no price label on any board. When I got to the register, I asked the cashier, Rachel, for a price check. The price came up as $14.99 each, no discount. I said I did not want them for that price, and that they were in the basket that said "75% off." Rachel responded that I was the third person that day to have them put back because the discount was not being applied. I told her that I really didn't want to put them back, and I think something needed to be fixed because they were being advertised as 75% off. Rachel asked if I'd like to speak to a manager and I said yes. She called the manager, Jason, over to help. He scanned the items again and confirmed that the discount was not being applied. He then offered to give me all three for $14.99. I said "Well no, because that would only be 66% off." Jason then looked at me incredulously and said "Wooooowwwww" as if he felt I was being unreasonable. Jason then rang the cutting boards up at $3.99 each (which is still not 75% off, but I didn't feel like pointing it out and being subjected to more attitude). Jason left and Rachel finished the transaction. Rachel then went on an on about how because Jason "did that for[me]" I could not return the cutting boards. I responded that I was not going to try to return the cutting boards, I obviously want them. She said "well someone might try and return them for $14.99 each!" and said it would reflect negatively on her because it was her register. I said to her again "I'm not going to return them," and she responded "there are cameras all around anyway." What was that supposed to mean?! I started to leave the store but the more I thought about it, the more upset I was with the experience. I turned around to ask Rachel what Jason's name was, because I didn't catch it during the first interaction. She told me his name and I said "thank you" but as I was walking away Rachel AGAIN said "You can't return them!" I did call Raley's corporate to tell them about it, and they focused mostly on the items not accurately reflecting the advertised discount. I reiterated that the main problem for me was the employees acting like I was being unreasonable for requesting the advertised discount. I'll probably continue to shop here because it is the most convenient grocery store near me, but I do feel like the staff needs a refresh on consumer protection laws and how to interact with customers who are simply expecting the advertised price or discount of an item.
