A friend and someone I consider family was accosted by several Walmart employees a few days ago upon purchasing her items at the self checkout. These 4 employees 1 by 1 gathered behind her before even checking out and blocked her from leaving the self checkout area. The situation was handled wrong from the beginning while the useless random security Guard standing next to Redbox did nothing.... As employees were going through her items she voiced that it was illegal and did not have consent. They snatched the bag out of my friends hands without explanation and felt exploited from the moment she scanned her first item. Now I'm not sure if it was racial profiling or an employee having a bad day and taking it out on customers but this is not a way to treat this situation as most likely stated in Walmart's policy's. These 4 employees thought my best friend was stealing the items by purposely not scanning them. Only to find out by the manager 20+ minutes later why she was detained and embarrassed in the community she lives in. All while her daughter watched silently in confusion while they tore through her brand new school clothes. Also it's sad because her and her daughter purposely used the self checkout so they could handle their own items and scan them due to covid and stay safe since her children both have pre existing conditions and also just to keep safe and do their part as stated on the doors of Walmart. My friend is a frequent customer at this location and I am sure she will never return. As a matter of fact I will not be returning either and I live within a mile of this location. It's a shame because I always thought this was the cleanest Walmart..... as far as the parking lot goes that is. The guys that get the carts are killing it. That aside it's sad that I will go out of my way to be a customer at target or WinCo from now on. Or maybe the auburn location treats it's customers better?.. we'll see. Over all normally Walmart is Walmart but I recently went there with a friend for her to get a new phone because they were having some deals on them. Well first off when we were there looking at them all one lady (which I don't remember her name but really wish I did) was very nice and ready to answer any of our questions. Well my friend wanted to think about her options and would come back another day after she talked it over. We come back its a different lady there to helps us and she wanted to help everyone else but us she would be in the middle of answering our questions and getting our stuff ready when another customer would come up and she would ask them what they needed and instead of saying she'd be right with them she would go off and help them with what they need okay one customer sure but not three other ones that's just ridiculous and then she was constantly talking to another non employee employee who was there doing business for another phone company that's really frustrating needless to say it took us OVER an HOUR AND A HALF nearly to hours to get her phone! Then she need to exchange the phone because it was having some issues and not working properly and they told us only a manager could exchange it and that she went on lunch and should be back in just a few minutes please explain to me why we waited for over an hour for her to show up and she never did? That is just non sense and should not have happened like that. I will go to Walmart but only if I don't need any assistance for one of their employees to get something done. read more

My husband and I accidentally left important pharmacy papers at the self-checkout, which included documents for his immigration process that we paid $400 for. When we quickly returned to retrieve them, an associate had already picked them up. We explained that they were ours, but she refused to give them back, even after we showed proof. Despite presenting my ID and a receipt with my name on the pharmacy papers, she insisted on going back to the pharmacy to "verify" their ownership, claiming she didn't care that we were in a rush. Her rude attitude and refusal to listen escalated the situation unnecessarily, especially given the importance of the documents. This was not just about Walmart pharmacy papers but critical immigration documents that could have been jeopardized by her actions. The lack of professionalism and the way we were treated was unacceptable. Walmart needs to address the way customer service is handled at this location, as this associate's behavior was completely out of line. read more

The other day my wonderful friend was racially profiled by your staff... she was followed while shopping with her daughter. It didn't stop there. She was watched like a hawk as she checked out at your self serve registers. But that wasn't the end. She was stopped at the door, accosted by one of your associates, questioned, and even when they discovered she had done nothing wrong they still continued to belittle her. 2020 and we're still doing this? I wish you could feel an OUNCE of her embarrassment that she unjustly experienced. You should all be ashamed of your behavior. This was my go to store... not anymore. My close good childhood friend was completely humiliated and embarrassed after an incident involving sales associates ganging up on her and her daughter at self check out. They aggressively took her receipt and purchased belongings and detaining her in the store with her 9 yr old daughter. She asked why and they wouldn't not give her an answer. I never expected to write a negative review especially about a place I frequent. But I am very disappointed in the treatment of my friend, whom recently was racially profiled at self check out. She had never been treated with such disdain. Your Walmart employees ganged up on her and accused her of stealing, made a scene, went through her PURCHASED items, and embarrassed her in front of her 9 year old daughter. One of my good friends went shopping with her 9 yr old daughter and was unlawfully approached and harassed in self check out none the less by 4 Walmart associate for "suspect" of not paying for an item. That was completely and unethically wrong! In front of her daughter being treated like trash! If they had "suspected" anything they should have followed protocol and simply asked! Took my son to get a video game and I went to get some things for he house as well. We were greeted right when we got in till the moment we came out. When we went to go get the video game we had to look for someone to open up the glass in order to get it and that was a quick process. The sales person even asked how our day was. This Walmart is above all walmart and we are always glad to come here read more

I'd give this 5 stars but walmart is lousy on restocking. they have good roast beef/cheddar/bacon. sandwiches but daily a fatty comes in & grabs ALL of them, weeks of this hog taking them all. order more! others would like to buy some, guess I have to get the huge ones from safe way, thanks for your laziness walmart read more
