I usually love this store and is always pleasant with nice staff. Although, there was one worker not sure what her name was but she was short and Indian seemed like a manager, she was very rude. I handed the cashier a drink that was empty she told me I could toss it the " manager " grabbed the drink and demanded I throw it away outside even if it had already been in the trash. I threw my drink away but thought it could've been handled more professionally letting staff know after the fact of their mistakes instead of taking it out on the customer and making the customer feel uncomfortable. I work next door and I've handled situations like these by correcting after the customer leaves. read more

If i could zero starts I would! I arrived there at 9:20. I went real fast to pick up one thing but the doors were closed. Employee kept acting like she didn't see me. First, I'd like to say that I've been Shopping at HomeGoods/Marshall's for decades, and this is the first time I've felt the need to write a review. Yesterday (1/17), while purchasing my items at the Covington store, the clerk (register #4), a young woman, pushed the credit card application hard, I politely declined. Then she pushed the charity donation, I politely declined. Lastly, she asked if I would like to round up the dollar amount of my purchase for donation, I politely declined. I personally prefer donating to small, local charities. Her demeanor then became angry and irritated; she gave me my change, then abruptly turned her back to me without a thank you or goodbye. I hope the manager of this store reads this review so that they can train employees to be considerate to all customers, regardless if they can help them win a contest for CC applications or donations. read more

So many things! What do you need? Marshall's probably has it! So I went to my hair stylist and bought a Biosilk hair protectant oil, he charged me $35 for it, a week later I went to Marshall's and found tons of the Biosilk brand same product for $7!!!! For real?! I thought it was a high end brand and that's why it cost that much but turns out I was just stupid. :( Marshall's also sells name brand skincare! I love this Marshalls because they're connected to a big Home Goods, and it's so convenient to hit up both stores at once. They usually have a very nice selection of things and restock weekly. Parking is also plentiful, and the staff are really friendly. I would advise you to bring your own reusable bags when you come because King County now charges for plastic bags. read more

Customer service is awful at this location (Covington, WA)! They need to work better on their attitude! I've tried to return items I ordered online, and they were like NO WE CANNOT TAKE IT! It was still with tags, unworn and showed them that I just received it the same day. She panicked asked for help, another one came instead of helping, she made things worse. They told me that I have to ship it back and she wrapped it with the shipping bag and hand it to me quickly! Drove longer to a different Marshalls and they were awesome! read more

Went here today after just hearing about the Supermall location closing & this one opening. Started out shopping in the Home Goods half of the building. Then made my way to Marshalls side. Wasn't looking for anything specific but had $50 in birthday gift cards to spend. Found some good Kona coffee, tea, cocktail mixes in Home Goods side. From Marshalls side a few cosmetic/toiletry items. A few of which were on clearance. Woohoo!! Wasn't very impressed by shoe or clothing selection. Only saw one possible Ralph Lauren top but passed on it. Will go again if in the area. read more

I could not find my wallet when I got home from a day of shopping with my daughter and last place I used card that was in wallet was at Marshall's . I called there and they said nothing had been turned in .So later that day I went in they said still nothing turned in but took name and number . If found they would let me know. I said I was probably going to have to do police report and April said she would take info so it was ready for when I did report. A day later and she went out of her way to let me know . I put wallet back in purse !!!! They were able to check! That ment alot! I found wallet under my bed. It had fell out of my purse. Awesome store! All the racks and shelves are always neat and organized. The staff is friendly and the lines aren't usually long. The connected home goods store is amazing as well. As a new homeowner and mother to be it's become a place I go at least once a week. I seriously love this store. Mad props to whoever runs it, you are crushing it! read more

In an area that is basically void of retail apparel and home goods Marshall's is a breath of fresh air. Exactly the same random collection of clothing, Accessories, and personal items as other Marshall stores carry. This one is brand new large clean and bright. The staff I engaged with were pleasant cheerful and helpful. I have returned twice since and each experience (including a return) were pleasant. I'm tickled that Marshall's has joined our local retail community. read more

Honestly I've never gone into Marshall's before. I thought they were a drugstore...? LOL But I had some time to kill and WOW! So much better than ROSS! To bad they left the mall for a store in a strip mall so far away . I used to shop the old store weekly it was so convenient plenty of parking and and traffic was not bad. I work in Covington but shop in Auburn traffic is horrendous in Covington. But i figure they lost there lease since Dave N Busters started construction right after they where gone. Just wish they could of stayed in the same city for there loyal customers. The Mall area would of been so much more convenient than strip mall nightmare city . read more
